It is something we all have at times. We are human and as such we have immature thoughts (except those involving Nina Dobrev, those are massively mature) but in other categories did you send a birthday card to President Trump today? It is world animal day after all. You see one mans thoughts are another persons food for vengeance and I am exactly on that setting at present.
A few hours ago I took notice of an event (at https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-10-04/houthi-saudi-yemen-iraq-middle-east-hostilities/107226524) where we saw (7 hours ago) ‘Iran-backed Houthis target Saudi oil facility as hostilities escalate in Yemen’, so who is providing these terrorists drones and ballistic missiles. The news gives us “Houthi-affiliated channel Al-Masirah TV reported that Saudi aircraft hit Sanaa with 26 strikes, after earlier reporting “Saudi aggression” against the Yemeni capital.” But the story behind all this is the fact that we are also given (at https://english.alarabiya.net/amp/News/saudi-arabia/2026/10/03/injury-damages-in-saudi-arabia-after-interception-of-houthi-missiles-drones) where we see ‘Injury, damages in Saudi Arabia after interception of Houthi missiles, drones’ and there is a setting that came to my mind. So as we see “Several attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis have resulted in an injury and damage to civilian property and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia according to official reports from late Friday and early Saturday. Fragments of an intercepted ballistic missile injured an Asian resident, damaged a prayer room and a number of vehicles in the Asir Province, according to the Saudi Civil Defense on Saturday.” I came to the thought that Houthi’s don’t have the options top produce any of that. And in that setting Palantir came to mind. If Palantir can analyze all the boats entering the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea weight get an actual handle on this setting. It will require a massive amount of number crunching and Saudi Arabia might have to add some intelligence gathering, but with every ship sunk on that roster, Houthi abilities might dwindle down and with the clear culprits in sight (I am not willing to blame Iran without evidence) we might get a handle on matters.
As I see it, the press is useless, but their materials might give us a sight we never considered before. And I reckon that Palantir has the number crunching ability to make that work. There are more solutions, but by setting the manifesto of every ship in the region we could optionally limit the ships we need to set our sights to and there are plenty of methods, because most ships are set to turn a profit and when they do a few things that the timeline doesn’t like we get a possible target. And to be Frank (I am usually Jimmy) is there a better sight that watching this boat sink with all its ‘sugared’ cargo miles away from reaching that destination? It is merely a second price, the winning price is to use these drones and missiles and aim them at the Houthis. I fail to see the upside if they are not seeing the boom to start their party, even if they are the target themselves.
So I wonder who considered that setting in toppling these smuggle operations. I am not saying it is an exact science, but to track the boats by other means than tracking ships radar trackers might be an idea and when we limit the numbers and whilst over 21,000 commercial and merchant vessels transit the waterway annually (averaging more than 100 per month) and these 100 per month could be tracked and from that image we see culprit, smuggler and optionally where they are off loaded. It is not likely that it is a harbour, but the timelines give is an insight of where to look. A simple thought that came to me in mere minutes (OK, I have a nautical degree and experience with this) but I am wondering how far Saudi Arabia took this setting and optionally there are ways that we can look at this (with the options to consider) how the smugglers keep the US Navy asleep. Because it is happening right under their noses. As far as I can remember they only ever found one ship with weapons (I think it is about two years ago) and now we might get a much more novel setting with one additional thought, but I will keep this private to me and Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, you can’t inform the boss of all this on the settings we get to celebrate on.
It was such a simple setting, the setting is simple, the data acquisition is a lot less simple, but we have to start somewhere. So whilst the News channels look at the impact of Houthi terrorists, I looked at what could be done. Have a great day all
