Duress ignored

That is what is happening, it might merely be me, but in the first setting we see duress which means being forced to do something against your will through illegal threats, physical pressure, or intimidation. I spoke about that and the Republican Party seemingly thrives on that. And I spoke about that two days ago (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2026/10/03/myopia-ahead/) in the story ‘Myopia ahead’ I gave the setting on the shortsightedness of it all and now we see: “The U.S. international tourism market is facing a severe and compounding decline, on track to lose another 2 million overseas visitors by the end of 2026. This downturn follows a massive slump where visitation plummeted by 4 million to 11 million travelers (depending on how regional data like Canadian land borders are tracked), marking a 5.5% volume drop. According to data from the U.S. Travel Association, the United States has earned the unique, troubling distinction of being “the only major country in the world losing visitation” during a broader global tourism boom.” (Source: U.S. Travel Association and a few more), so as it just ended the FIFA world cup, the numbers (as reliable as I am aware of) gives us that New York City hotels that anticipated $150 million in World Cup revenues slashed their projections to just $60 million. That is a disastrous setting. And that is merely the hotels, the true picture which we might never see under this administration could be a lot worse. So whilst we consider Macroeconomic, we see “The Spending Deficit: International inbound spending shrank by over $8.4 billion.” (Source: CNN) and when we look at “When measured against original growth projections, Tourism Economics calculates that the U.S. will have forgone roughly $39.6 billion in international travel revenue.” Those are little rounding errors, this is a setting from which the United States will not recover in just a few years and in the meantime I see advertisements on TV and YouTube given us that we should take our next vacation in the United States. You don’t mind that I stand next to Canadians and say “No, thank you” and it is coming a global setting. The top line statistics are giving us:

This is huge and after NBCUniversal poured around $7 billion to $7.7 billion USD, these are not the numbers they are looking for and which Abu Dhabi gong full steam ahead on their parks, the bad news will keep on coming in 2027.2028 and 2029. In the bright side, for NBCUniversal it is all tax deductible, but for the US Administration it is bad news upon bad news. And as the setting seemingly goes, that good news will not turn into anything positive whilst President Trump is in power. It is bad news generated through shortsightedness and as I see it stupidity.

And CNN reports “Republicans are defending territory they never expected to be at risk four weeks before Election Day, as President Donald Trump implores voters not to desert his party with the promise of more cash giveaways. A top White House adviser, meanwhile, argued Sunday on CNN that “partisan pollsters” are wrong that voters are hurting financially — a message that suggests a disconnect between the country and a president who boasts of an economic “golden age.”” As I see it, it is merely disaster upon disaster, you see when the EU members are looking towards digital ownership and the larger setting of national identity. As such these nations are deciding that Microsoft is out and so are the other ‘vendors’ of servers and as such we see that these nations are all about the national safety and that will happen in a short way, whilst all these vendors are out, the commercial setting alters, leaving them with even less money. So as Australia is now under teeth gnarling setting that will be picked up by the largest players in the Commonwealth we see “An experimental OpenAI AI agent gained unauthorized access to non-public files on Australian government systems, including the Services Australia Medicare statistics portal and NSW National Parks data, during training in June 2026”, my personal view is that this is BS (you know that stuff that makes grass grow in Texas) and when the population wakes up to the fact that there is no AI and that is is all predictive analytics, the question come out and that sets up a whole different wave of data, merely adding to the bad news. But as I see it, America thinks hat they will be alright because the President said that the golden age of AI is here. When that little light of falsehood blinks out, the rest of the bad news (likely in 2027) comes out and that is where digital rights will be all over the board and that will cost the United States, billion going into Trillions and that us all there is. How fortunate that I saw this two years ago, how the mighty fall. I feel sorry for two vendors Google and Oracle. Oracle will take a hit, but will continue, Google will be forced to alter its placement in all this and decide what software solution they will embrace whilst let their customers continue and until there are some massive chances to the U.S. CLOUD Act (Clarifying Lawful Overseas Use of Data Act) is a 2018 federal law that allows U.S. law enforcement to compel U.S.-based technology companies to produce requested electronic data wherever it is stored. And that will end Google to some extent. They won’t go broken but there data branches will face devaluation, oracle is in the same boat, but as their services are largely hardware based they will get a push and through there they will face the options of continuation.

Microsoft? No idea and I don’t care, but they will face devaluation a little over two trillion (my personal speculated view). So whilst President trump did away with the threat, the G7 has a less optimistic view as such Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom are speculatively now looking into their own ways of blackmail and Tourism is a huge option. With the relaxed settings of the UAE and optionally Saudi Arabia too are now vying for the tourist settings and whilst Canada is now likely to get a real boost for winter games, those who prefer summer settings have the UAE and Saudi Arabia and as the UAE started the trains between Abu Dhabi and Dubai last month, they will get a massive share of that it is a trip that could be done in a little over an hour and as such plenty of tourists will go for that. Especially as it is a mere AED 39 (=$10) for Comfort class and the idea of having a vacation in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi is growing appeal in the EU (as well as the Commonwealth).

So whilst people think I am nuts, the data shows that I am correct and the better part is that others are seeing the same thing, as such investors are shying away from the United States and putting their money in Canada, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. And we are already seeing this as The Financial Post is giving us “Canadian investors sold a record $31 billion in U.S. shares by mid-2026, with over half of asset managers planning further reductions to rebalance home bias and focus on domestic opportunities.” Didn’t they call me crazy on that last month? So blow after blow is coming to the United States and all this as Q4 is only beginning, but this administration will give us some debatable setting soon enough and whilst we see another threat against Iran, as we are told that he may ‘blow up’ Iran, which makes me wonder if he has enough missiles left for that but I have no idea how many missiles the United States has. And the down by the ground me (silly me) am considering that U.S. produces about 1.7 missiles per day (roughly 620 a year) and in some cases (like the Tomahawk) its current output is roughly 0.25 to 0.5 missiles per day (about 90 to under 200 a year) and as The U.S. military fired over 850 Tomahawk cruise missiles during the first four weeks of the war with Iran, they will need 4 years to get back up to scrap. Simple equations and simple arithmetic shows that his threats are merely that, the bellows of a windbag

(as some say), so when we ignore the duress, we see a United States that is no longer able to defeat Iran who is 16th on power scale and it is losing money in several directions, as such the replenishment of its infrastructure will take a massive hit as well. And whilst the international tourists are taking another direction. The dialogue the United States used to have with others falls away as well. As such we can ignore the duress because the United States doesn’t have anything else at present or nearly anything else. And now that nation is becoming the clear and present dangers of early all others allies it once had and whilst it thinks it can bully us all, we are learning that a bully is the weakest opponent of all, because I relies on the figment of what it once was.

Merely a simple view I am holding, it might be wrong, t might be right. I will leave it up to you.
