A boggling mind

That happens and at present it is my mind that is boggling. First off, there is no critique on Saudi Arabia and how it does it business. None at all. My mind is merely looking at what the media is ‘offering my mind’ and as Al Jazeera gives us ‘Houthi missile attack targets Saudi capital Riyadh for third day in a row’, my mind is at a standstill. We know what abilities Palantir has in the settings of data intelligence, but so does IBM Miner (formerly known as SPSS Miner and before that as Clementine), then there is Jingan Technology (of which I know less than nothing) and I know only what certain media settings ‘declassifies’ and we are given “Established in 2021 in Hangzhou, China, by veterans from major tech firms (Alibaba, Baidu, Huawei) and Chinese military branches, Operates under China’s military-civil fusion strategy, supplying intelligence-gathering, geospatial analysis, and predictive tools to state security, public security, and People’s Liberation Army (PLA)/defense-linked clients.” (Source: South China Morning Post) And I am merely setting that stage as Palantir as a US product might no longer be as reliable as it once was. If course IBM miner is a BI took and not an intelligence tool, so it might be missing a fair bit on sides in all this considering and contemplating Palantir Gotham. But as I see it, it is important to find ways to seek solutions in the data mess, mainly because it could help Saudi Arabia and I am careful to use the application as ‘could’ because I have no idea on how far Saudi Arabia is in the data digging mess (my best assessment in this) as I gave last week that shipping parsing in the Gulf of Aden is in part an optical solution and that is stated as I never saw any smuggling data and I have seen shipping data and these ‘box carriers’ show up all over the maritime tracking settings. But there is a catch are they being tracked or intentionally ‘avoiding to be tracked’ and that is in part a solution as one source gives me “Roughly 55 to 65 ships pass through the Gulf of Aden each day, though daily totals fluctuate due to regional security incidents and re-routing” that is an amount that is manageable. The question is how far can we track these ships and which ones are in verifiable settings and courses to be optionally disregarded and that leaves us with X amount of ships that require a closer eye. And we might be looking in the wrong direction, but the clear setting is that we get in sources from Twitter (say X) “In a statement on X, Turki Al-Maliki, the spokesperson for the coalition, said the Houthis fired one ballistic missile at Riyadh and two towards Khamis Mushait, a city in the southwest. All three were “intercepted and destroyed” my mindset is that these rockets could not have been produced in Yemen and the fact that these rocket (no matter that they were destroyed) requires certain electronics and it is for that reason that I feel that Iran is the likeliest culprit. And as it was not a drone, it was a ballistic missile. As such the pool of likely candidates is somewhat diminished from a dozen to a mere 2-3 parties. And at least one of those is on friendly terms with Saudi Arabia. So I feel that I am on the correct track. And as a solution we see the BI solution IBM Miner and in a more military setting we get to Palantir and whatever Jingan Technology has.

But there is also the setting of whatever the Presidency of State Security (PSS) is, because as I see it, General Turki Al-Maliki should be given every support he could get and that is where I am at present. So, what solutions are in use and why can there be no additional support (because Saudi Arabia should have as much as it can), mainly because Saudi Arabia is under attack and it is Aramco, Khamis Mushait as well as the King Khalid airport. And in my mindset terrorists should not get this far, as I see it, eradication of terrorists is an essential need. Perhaps some want to invite them for tea and cookies but I am all about destroying the enemy, especially if they are targeting civilians.

The question is how to go best about that. I have a clear view because I was given these tools in the past, I was giving (non military) intelligence in the past and as such I came to the Gulf of Aden as a first. There is of course the chance that these smuggle activities are Iran, Iraq, Jordan and then the red sea, but I would think that this track has the most complications and as such a much larger chance of failure. The other option is the Arabian Sea and than via Africa, but there are a few players there who would prefer Saudi Arabia as a friend and as such the gulf of Aden remains. A simple track (possibly a wrong one) and the resources to track these up to 80 ships daily (I am taking additional numbers under advisement) are a first, because that might get a better view and of course there is every chance that these ‘missile components’ are optionally shipped as ‘boxes of mobiles’ or something like that and there we have options of detecting and that comes with additional settings of releasing over 75% of ships who are innocent. But as my mind sees it we get the oldest question setting (from the 70s) where we get the image of Who, What, When, Where, How and Why. Six elements that might reveal who Saudi Arabia is dealing with. And of course ii am coming from a biased setting and as such I am on the Iran setting (Who) and what is either complete ballistic missiles but that seems less likely, more likely are the elements, because the explosive settings could come from all directions, but the electronics are likely from the “Who” side, making Iran the likely candidate. And in support I give you that Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthi terrorists are openly supported from Iran.

This is my mindset and it is not impossible that I am wrong and that is also part of the analyses from either of these three parts (IBM, Palantir, Jingan Technology) and I could be wrong, but on these sides we see certain tools and these seemingly the tip of the spear and that is one place to look at. And I recently (in the last 24 hours) was given “Palantir Technologies has expanded its presence in Saudi Arabia through strategic defense, artificial intelligence, and regional digital transformation partnerships” (source: X/Twitter) as such I feel I am on the right track.

It feels nice to focus on a data problem and in the end it is a data problem because this can only work if we consider and eliminated verifiable data settings, but that might be my limited look on the matter (and I have been accused more than once of oversimplifying complex settings), but that would be me.

Have a great day and I noticed that I am now roughly 180 minutes from breakfast, so one more log to saw and of to the breakfast table I go.

Have a great day today.
