That is where I am at. People who know me have known that I have always ben on the side of the UAE and I am ready to reject the premise that the Deutsche Welle gives us, but it is not that simple. They give us ‘Iran war turns Dubai into a Ghost city’ and I hate to admit it, but Iran has thrown the hatchet down to the UAE. I would still stand with the UAE and I did by handing the UAE my military IP free of charge (as well as Saudi Arabia) it is yet another example that eradication of Iran is becoming an essential thing. I do not fault them for attacking in retaliation to the US and Israel, these are legitimate targets because of the events that took place, as ‘my’ bible educates me to turn the other cheek, I see that as a legitimate reason to destroy Irans refineries, their harbours and their manufacturing options. Seems merely fair play. However, we can see that the terror vision of Iran is making an impact, that is beside the Bitcoin bitches that ran for their life on day one shouting that their lives were in danger. There is a solution, because these 10 images are direct, but could be made in several ways. To counter one is to create YouTube videos, almost everywhere. Like they did months ago. This time, it could be the UAE population giving us the views in the malls, the sites and the walkthroughs of places, beaches, entertainment sections, malls, Dubai has a population of 4,807,185. These people got somewhere? Why not film these events and make sure that Dubai remains on the video map. In 2024 Abu Dhabi had a population of 4,135,985. Same thing applies here. Last year the tourists were making videos of great places and theme parks. So why aren’t the locals doing that? And the numbers are out there “As of 10 May 2026, the UAE has intercepted and destroyed 551 ballistic missiles, 2,265 drone attacks and 29 cruise missiles fired from Iran” but the important numbers were missing, you see as far as I know less then 1% made is through and only 1% of 1% hit something substantial, which implies that my ‘criminal’ act of jay walking has a better odds of creating a self inflicted issue. I have no real numbers, but the statistics of getting hit in such a way is seemingly a lot less than getting hit by an attack in the UAE from Iran. As such these films should bare out that the UAE (particularly Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah) should be a lot safer that the images make them out to be. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for destroying the infrastructure of Iran, but it seems to be that with a ‘presented’ damage of $600 million a day, it seems to me that doing something about that takes priority. OI reckon that ‘flooding’ YouTube with videos of how sweet life in these places are and optionally setting the same videos to Instagram, TikTok and Rednote (sometimes called Redbook) as such, as we see the ‘statistics’ for TikTok (which is 1.36 billion to 2 billion monthly active users worldwide) and Youtube gives us an approximate of 2.58 billion monthly active users globally. It seems to me that these two alone gives us half the planet. As such there is a reason for Emirati’s to take their camera to the streets. And it seems more ‘pacifistic’ to embrace peace, but I feel a righteous anger to inflict massive damage on the harbours and railways of Iran. The UAE government might even address the knowledge levels of the Emirati’s by making sure that they have the skills to edit and Ill bet you dollars for doughnuts (an American expression I actually love) that the local population might love showing the people on this planet just how lovely theses places are. The idea of teach a population the options of creating excellent video’s on your Android Mobile (yes, I know Apple has its own system, but I am an android person). We can accept the news in Deutsche Welle (which might be absolutely accurate at https://www.dw.com/en/iran-war-turns-dubai-into-a-ghost-city/g-76454537) but we could see these images in another light.
- A man sitting sad outside his shop.
- Someone browsing the news in a fashion shop.
- An empty street at the back of a building. For all I know it was taken behind a building on Al Marabea’ St.
- A shot of an empty beach, the UAE which could have been taken at 06:00 (when most people are emulating saw machines, aka snoring)
I am not saying that this is what happening, but it could be. These images might harm tourism as well, but the alternative is to go to the United States, an option much less appealing. I still have great hope that I could spend a few hours floating on a tube down the Al Raha River (it is a very nice idea). I think it is important to counter the article in the Deutsche Welle and I am not saying that the article is a lie, but at present there isn’t anything showing us detailed views of what is happening and when the tourists stay away, we will not see a lot of videos on the locations and subjects. As such I think it is a good idea to show food courts, foods, like the options in AlBaik Dubai Mall (also on my bucket list) If there is nothing, people start speculating in every direction. When we see a mall filled with people (with 4,807,185, at least 1% goes to the Dubai mall, meaning that there are at least 48000 people in the Dubai mall in a day. So why aren’t we shown that? And I say that these videos would trump the millions that Iran is throwing away, we can still deal with their infrastructure on a video break, as the expression would go.
And as idea go, I don’t think it is the worst idea to have.
I reckon I am giving the Emirati’s something to this about today and as it is just past 5PM, plenty of Emirati’s are likely out and about to have tea, coffee, ice creams and other snacks (I apologise for not knowing what times mosques are to be attended).
Have a great day today.
