Droning right along

That is the setting I saw in my mind. A drone solution to a screwed up situation and the Houthi terrorists have themselves to thank for that. So as I saw the news from different places. The BBC gives us (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c23x72yx2rvo) ‘Houthis claim major advance in Yemen and tighten grip on Red Sea shipping lane’ where we see “The Iran-backed group seized Perim Island at the mouth of the waterway in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a source from Yemen’s internationally recognised government told the BBC. It comes a day after the Houthis captured the strategic port city of Mokha from Saudi-backed pro-government forces, according to military sources. A Yemeni military official told the AFP news agency the Houthis now control the entire coastline.” With the additional “The Houthis earlier said they posed no threat to international shipping but reiterated their threat to target vessels from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the country’s de facto ruler, has personally pressed US President Donald Trump to take military action against the Houthis during their rapid advance, two sources familiar with the matter told CBS News – the BBC’s media partner in North America.

Trump has so far declined to involve the US military directly, offering instead to assist with intelligence and targeting support, the sources said.” So as the United States cannot clean up their messes, because all this got pushed to the surface by Iran engaging through Houthi Terrorists (yes, BBC, these troops are terrorists) Saudi Arabia is pushed to do something, as President trump seemingly is declining to involve the US military directly, I see a solution where the United States are pushed out of the Middle East completely, with a simple optional presence in Tel Aviv. We get China to render assistance. And in that setting I see drones getting involved (in my mind the lyrics from ‘moving right along’ by the Muppets is droning in my head.

You get the idea and this is not entertainment, although the creativity that surrounds it might make it so. And for terrorists we need to think differently. As I suspect, the capture of Mocha was merely to get the influx of weaponry going (their number one goal) and there I see the setting of another wave of expediency.
So as we get to the drones we need several new settings. A spy drone (explanation down the track and delivery drones. 
The spy drone would be (depending on the vessel) parked in a higher place (like a ships mast) or is the ship allows it parked on top of the wheelhouse, or behind the wheelhouse, stuck behind the bowel of the ship. It serves two purposes, the first is to monitor anything it can and capture any transmission it can. It is about to become important. You see the delivery drones do two things. Deliver the surface mines and the ball mines. The surface mines blow the hull, the ball mines are dropped right above the hole and the water influx into the vessel will suck it into the ship. At that point all hell brakes lose and these smugglers will contact whomever they can, because when they fail, they lose a lot of revenue and their vessel. So they will cry for help in all directions and the spy drone will capture all this and their jamming capabilities will make sure that this doesn’t go any further. Optionally, they can delay the second they have into minutes of agony and record all that is going on. Optionally capture the names of IRGC members. 
So depending on the size of the vessel, 2-3 drones are all that is required and when they deliver the payload they fly back. The balminess are a different matter. They explode like fragmentation mines and make a mess of what is inside the vessel. As I see it (see below) 

The ball mine has these blue balls, which are an optional weaker version of a Neodymium magnet, it might be one, but I do not think that this strong a magnet is required. As a back it has the electronics on the inside, the outer shell is a metal with the magnets on top of it (see more pictures below) and as the ball moves, it can move into any direction, it might be moved by the spy drone, but getting it on the wall and moving up is basically what is needed and Machine Language is all that is required. The ball moves into position and blows, making a mess of anything inside the ship and optionally the machine room will be taken out, making the vessel a sinking dead duck. 

as you see it is metal, the magnets and the C4, a simple solution with low cost, no missiles required. This ball could be used in the field as well, but there it has a much bigger role. So as we see that drones could be dropping their ordinance, or used as portable claymores, we have a setting against terrorists. We merely have to engage the biggest groups and take out these terrorists. You see, President Trump. I need not waste billions on missiles and long winded speeches, up to 5 drone operators, sitting at a comfy chair with their own playbooks is all that was required. I reckon the Chinese party in this, might throw in that comfy chair for free. And that is all she wrote. A simple solution taking care of terrorists. The balminess can directly engage with vehicles and attach to them and whilst they blow, these adversaries are not given a long life. 
It took me mere hours to come up with this and I feel happy, activistic and pragmatic. Solution that doesn’t not require to heavily invest in anything worthy, let alone a terrorist group. And s the numbers pile up, I reckon that Iran will suddenly cry like a little girl, call everyone names and they can cry us all a river on Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC. Perhaps they find a sympathetic ear there.
So as I see it, Saudi Arabia can use these designs to get a working model, free of charge. Even though I would kindly ask that any oil requests from the Commonwealth will get a sympathetic ear. I am a commonwealthian after all. My mind came up with several other idea in the application of Claymore devices, as they are dropped from drones and as these drones need not be wasted, we can engage with stronger drones and leave a rather nasty red stain on wherever we engage these terrorists. I think that I used my time in a productive setting the hour. Time for me to watch some TV and consider playing a game or two in a few hours.
