A comedian makes a funny

That is every now and then the question, the actor, the comedian (which is weird as the original Heimdall had zero sense of humor) flexed his funny muscle when he used his own wax figurine to unlock his own phone.

I saw the news last night and it didn’t hit me then, but 1-2 hours later something occurred to me, if that is possible, something else becomes possible too. As I couldn’t find the story anymore, I found this story (which is basically the same, at https://www.mandatory.com/news/1705735-idris-elba-wax-figure-unlock-his-phone) and when I reread it, just to make sure that I was on the right track, the other thought perturbed my brain. You see, when that works, the altered setting of projecting a high res photo (over 30MP) projected against a styrofoam head (to give it proper 3D settings) might work as well.

As such those ‘relying’ on FaceID optionally get a new problem, because the world at large is overly happy with all the selfies they are making.

So I got to thinking, should the next camera be equipped with an additional infrared or ultraviolet setting, the premise changes, because either of those will not be transmitted and should the system use the two images (infrared might be better) combined with a normal picture, we get a setting of non repudiation, a setting I applaud and I think we should rely on, as such FaceID becomes more secure and an optional setting towards non repudiation.

As such the makers of phones (Granny Smith and Google) as well as other phone makers might want to consider this step to secure their safety features. I reckon that Google might be the first to take this step and optionally the Pixel 12 might be the first one to hold this setting. The Pixel 11 is already in pre production, as such it might be too late to set that alteration in motion and lets face it, it is not an issue yet and lets face it as it stands, the members who need this feature have other ways to get this done and by the time this trickles down a year would have passed.

You see, the news I saw gives us “The pound to dollar exchange rate has cracked into the 1.38’s in midweek trade following a remarkable 1.20% daily gain.” And as far as I know, the UK economy isn’t doing great as such how did this happen? Is the US economy in a lot more problems than the US stakeholders are allowing for the media to be released? Your guess is as good as mine as I have less knowledge of this than Heimdall has on humor. But there is something afoot and even if I did like the setting that I am correct yet another time, the impact of a stalling American economy due to the $38,665,000,000,000 debt they are having and as that debt is over 200 billion more than in the last two weeks, as I personally see it time might be running out for America. But that is a story for another day. At present I am gloating for my IP towards a solution for non repudiation and that is enough for now.

I was about to bitch about something (I will after this), other news hit me. So when I saw this I had to giggle. Some people are catching up and I saw it over 2 years ago. Now there is the use of ‘could’ so it might be less, but the setting came BEFORE all the AI crap we see here, with these data centers taking up massive amounts of energy. The solution was to embrace the solutions Elon Musk already had and to do so before others buy all the batteries in the land. As such I feel kinda vindicated. Feel free to read up on my blog and you will see that I have been saying that these dangers were clear long before 2023. Elon Musk had the solution but no one took me seriously. So now as we see that in 4 years we speculatively see America has one month energy free is a little unsettling and I feel nothing. I warned others and no one took me seriously. Happy me, downer for them.

But now we go to the thing that upset me. The article was given by someone I will not mention here. Either he presents ACTUAL evidence or he shuts his fucking mouth (read: keyboard), Forever. I have gone over this for over 4 years and I have had it with the stupid Islamophobes, Or perhaps better, we ask Saudi Arabia to stop shipping oil to America and sell it to other parties. I wonder how long America will be able to stay afloat. I am sick or reposting that same lacking evidence from UN Essay writer Eggy Calamari. I think it is great that comedians get to ship their version of speaking to Saudi Arabia. I would like to have seen a share of English, Australian and Canadian comedians, but that is up to whomever is arranging this upcoming Riyadh Comedy Festival. I was always partial to the humor of Jimmy Carr, but that is me.

This is the setting we are seeing and there is plenty of polarization on both sides of the isle. I cannot figure out where the hatred is coming from, but it is a massive issue as I personally see it. Lets be clear. I am not saying the man is guilty or innocent. But as I see it, the law is clear. Guilt must be established and that was never done. Moreover, I saw several loose markers in that document and that is how I see it, as such the remark “I mean, the same guy that’s gonna pay them is the same guy that paid that guy to bone-saw Jamal Khashoggi and put him in a fucking suitcase. But don’t let that stop the yucks, it’s gonna be a good time!” From Marc Maron and for him I have the same message. Hand over the evidence, or shut the fuck up.

OK, it might be a little eras, but I get too many of these ‘claim’ whilst there is no evidence. In the men time the speculative setting of that he had taken his 19 year old mistress to Bora Bora was never investigated either. So what gives?

And that is merely the beginning, but the idea that one month a year there is no electricity in America is a kinda joyful setting. The idea that Americans one month a year will need to find another way to spend the time. In the meantime the rest of the world will mostly continue as is. How is that for the most advanced nation in the world?

And now for a momentous occasion

Yes, it was a momentous occasion yesterday. For the people of my generation (that would be the generation that is old and decrepit), Yesterday it was the 50th anniversary of Monty Python. I got told this by the BBC (at https://www.bbc.com/culture/article/20250407-how-monty-python-and-the-holy-grail-became-a-comedy-legend). I completely forgot that it had been so long. I was there, in front of my TV when the birth of Monty Python was shown to us on a 4:3 screen and I saw it on a black and white TV. Terry Jones, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle and Michael Palin with additions from Terry Gilliam showed us a totally new concept in Television. They called it comedy and it was magnificent.

OK, I have to make a slight adjustment. It was 50 years since their masterpiece Monty Python and the holy grail came out. The TV series are older. Still, we forget the larger picture. The movie made them globally funny, the TV was (in those days) often limited to Europe (mainly UK, Netherlands, Belgium) but the movie made them a global household name. These younger pups think that comedy comes from some guy named Steve Carell, what do they know? Apparently a marketeer from Dutch Barn disagrees, but I have no idea what that is about. And now that idea might never have worked, there is word that the youthful young Jim Halpert played by John Krasinsky was taken to a quiet place by his wife, so that’s that. And what do those people know? Monty Python was here first and it was magnificent. I remember those days. I was one year too young for the movie (14 years and older) but I became a knight who said ‘ni’ as well. I saw it a year later and it was magnificent. Of course I already knew Monty Python from TV and as such The TV characters were known to me but yesterday’s article brought it all back to the surface. Read it, it is a really good article. For one, I never knew that funding was a bit of a problem and the legendary band Led Zeppelin brought the bread to the table. We get from Michael Palin: “I say to people, ‘Led Zeppelin gave us £50,000 – and look where they are now.’” Apparently Pink Floyd also aided in the support of the movie. And it was money well spend. I still have the movie on DVD (I had the VHS tape as well) and it was the beginning of a great comedy movie franchise. And the setting of “the film’s budget was less than £300,000 ($393,000). This wasn’t much for a sweeping fantasy set in medieval Britain, so the team had to be inventive.” The realisation that that little money got a movie made that is still a character a timeless humor is to be revered. A movie that is hopefully still bringing in the pounds, shillings and dimes and it would have been doing that for 50 years. Today the average comedy like Evan Almighty is almost forgotten after 20 years, I enjoyed that movie and several other from him, he is a good actor, but the setting of 50 years is something completely different. It matters, and it brought a nice dish to the table. In the end the actor who played the Rabbit of Caerbannog was later served as Rabbit au vin and he was completely forgotten 2 days later, except for the eater, who caught indigestion for at least a week. Things happen.

Still, this milestone brings feelings to the surface, happy feelings and it was brought about by 7 youthful young individuals that went on shaping the stage of comedy. Later Terry Gilliam would blow my socks away with Time Bandits, Brazil, and later “12 monkeys” with Bruce Willis.

Happy are feelings of those who bring is joy and the Monty Python team brought us a lot, including the thought that every sperm is sacred, so ladies don’t forget.
