Roll the drums

That is the setting, but what of the drums? Are they peace drums, or are they war drums. That remains to be seen, as ABC gave us an hour ago ‘Iran war live updates: Iran says no final decision made as Trump claims ‘great settlement’ reached’ and it comes with the weirdest of settings. At present I take the word of Iran above that of the United States and as far as I can tell, this is the first time that this ever happens, but since the war began on February 28, the US president has claimed Iran was very close to making a deal at least 38 times and that story become stale very very quickly. But ABC gives us “Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said a final decision had yet not been made on a possible peace agreement with the US, according to state media.” In addition we get the umpteenth time that “Earlier Trump cancelled planned strikes on Iran citing “discussions and final points” with Iran, after threatening to hit the Islamic Republic “very hard”. ” It comes across like a broken record and After yesterdays story (a mere 20 hours ago) where I showed that I could have gotten results for less then $250M (a likely  exaggerated amount), but against the $26,000,000,000 that the United States used, I am doing fine and I gave the IP to Saudi Arabia and the UAE. So I also sound like a broken record, but it comes over like “What a savings you’ll make” and optionally with the least amount of casualties, so whilst CNN gives estimates us “Precision bombs, believed to be US-made, struck drinking water storage facilities in the Bemani district of southern Iran near the Strait of Hormuz. The attack destroyed vital water tanks, severing the drinking water supply for approximately 20,000 residents in the area”, I merely scuttled their harbours and railways. Seems like a simple equation and no pussyfooting. I am also setting a rather large stage towards downing all 10 refineries and that comes at the expense of DJI technology. I reckon that the Chinese have more advanced solutions, but I don’t have that kind of access. I can trot towards President Xi and ask his for the keys to the Chinese DARPA, but I might get a paid vacation in A prison called Ching Ching (presumed name) and that is not what I am hoping for in the twilight of my life. So, I have to get connect software makers with DJI drone technology.

But it gave me a few options to consider, what can you get from a drone with C4 and drones armed with Claymores? It is merely the setting of accurate photo’s and one eager drone pilot who will get the connection of a dozen drones and that 10 times, or perhaps 10 drone operators all getting their target and all getting hit at the same time. I don’t think the second is really valid as the distances are too far set, but the intricacies that one drone could deliver a package and that package are the drones, whilst that other drone comes back (a General Atomics MQ-1 Predator) the package is deployed and when it strikes, the packaging is destroyed, to leave close to no evidence behind. Whilst the refinery gets shown its fireworks, we need to see that their could be done 10 times and whilst this comes at the same time that the Railways and harbours are hit, the IRGC has no clue where to look, because this might be a novel way to deploy Time on target (TOT) and it is not artillery that does it, but a Asymmetric warfare setting and Iran is not overwhelmed by technology, but by activities all at the same time. So whilst the IRGC is licking its wounds, it has to ascertain what was hit and how and now they have their own version of horror to look at.

All this was available to President Trump from day one, so it could have ended in March, but here we are in June (12th) and still no resolution. For the most I do not care, but the attacks on Civilian targets in Saudi Arabia and the UAE got my irritation up and now I am getting into the mindset of the destruction of Iran, they were always evil, but the attacks on civilian targets was one step too many. And there is no proxy wart here, as such I wonder what General Qasem Soleimani would have thought of its own Iran doing something like this, because as I see it, there is no way out of this and at present it is only facing the United States and Israel, but when the gulf states unite, it will end rather quickly for Iran, but that is the steps they took.

So, whilst I was looking at the Persian Gulf Star Oil Company, which is supposed to be open for business 24 hours a day, the idea that a new gas condensate refinery being developed near Bandar Abbas, Iran and it becomes inoperative whilst it gives way to a processing capacity of roughly 360,000 barrels of gas condensate. And I say there is nothing like a fire that is fueling itself and gas condensate is extremely flammable, making a dozen drones an optional fire hazard all over the place. The weird part is that I can see this, so why didn’t the United States? Don’t they have this boffin collector (named DARPA) I can see a few easy settings from an approach towards a simple placement of C4 and Claymore variants on key points at that place the stage is not as simple as blowing up the storage places, but this is a place where we could optionally insert one drone that is the hacking tool for remote access and the others do their ‘boom boom bye bye’ routine. Now, I am not saying it is this easy, but as I see it, these places have thwarted safety regulations for years and that is the entry point to a lot of this, so whilst we might see all kinds of long term options, there is a lot I don’t know (never had to anyway).

So whist we see exhausts, I wonder as these were designed before drones were a thing, what happens when you get a drone to do its kamikaze thing into the exhaust and blow up what can be blown up? And whilst we see pipes, the question becomes, what was in there? Consider a drone with a C4 brick, right on top of several lines, would that do the trick? And don’t forget that all these 360,000 barrels of gas condensate a day goes through pipelines before it gets to the storage (which is likely a lot more protected), but these pipes still could blow up and release all that condensate in the air and area where they can burn for as much as it likes. Burning their 360,000 barrels of gas condensate a day in mere hours. And whilst we think that blowing it all up is required, these storage tanks might be susceptible to acidic solutions a lot more easily, because that is not likely to have been a protection setting for the PGSOC and that is all required reading before you waste $26,000,000,000 on blowing something up to the stone age. A bomb run might cost the US a B-2 stealth bombers, each valued at approximately $2.1bn, whilst a DJI drone is $5000 (at the most) and equipping it with Aqua Regia and from that on storage containers, the best setting is to set to the middle side of these storage containers and if a leak is created, set it aflame that the gas will do the rest. The middle side is essential not to get spotted by some eager beaver walking past and when that is done to a few containers, the additional brick that the drone has can finish the rest off.

I have no idea what Aqua Regia costs, but I am willing to be it is at most a few thousand dollars, making the $2.1Bn a joke to say the least. So whilst we look into hobbling Iran, we need to see what was open and that is where the stage of ‘so called’ delay tactics don’t hold water. We have seen too much of that and it is time to show Saudi Arabia and the UAE (and others) that we take these attacks on them seriously. And that was merely one refinery and when you consider that others are optionally a lot easier to hit, the stage evolves from ‘Iran says no decision on peace deal’ into ‘Iran says a decision on peace deal becomes essential’ and that is where we were supposed to be heading in the first place, I merely got there within a week, whilst President Trump made 38 claims in 3 months and no results. So I reckon I am ahead of the pack for a while.

Some will claim that my solution is no solution and that that damage can be repaired. I do not think it is that easy. That refinery will be closed for some time (especially if the storage tanks are hit) but they are correct, the damage can be repaired, what was my setting is that whatever is stored is burned and that is direct loss and 10 times this makes for a pauper Iran and not a dollar (or Yuan) in sight. So whilst some will see that the damage can be repaired, having to do so a few tines makes for tremendous losses for Iran, not to mention that these repairs can only start when the fires are stopped and that is likely to be the larger problem for Iran, we saw some of that in Hellfighters (1968) with John Wayne and Jim Hutton (Ellery Queen) where fires are hard to stop when hot metal is involved and all these pipes will get pretty hot in seconds. As such several avenues towards scuttling the Iranian economy is open for consideration, should my IP be used for stopping the harbors and railways, the damage merely increases, because it stops aid coming to these places as well.

Well that is my few cents on the setting. I reckon that we are likely to see a few more days of ‘no decision on peace deal’ before President Trump finally has been played the fool enough times to take another job at Iran, in the mean time I will look into the equipment National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC), Iranian Central Oilfields Company (ICOFC) and National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) have and how we can make their incomes scuttle towards zero. That should attend Iran to a quick resolution towards ending their attacks on Saudi Arabia and the UAE, but then I might be overly optimistic on all things and on the other side, I have been accused towards oversimplifying problems wherever I saw them.

So whilst some roll their drums, I have always been a supporter of the drums of resolution, because that is where we see real progress and whenever others hear those drums, the tend not to have too much to offer in return. So yes, I tend to oversimplify things at times.

Have a great day, It is almost Friday lunch time for me.

Cold War 2.00.05/LW

The BBC alerted us to an optional issue, the article (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/clyn8vk4g42o) is a tap on the door. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the article. It alerts us and it tells us stuff, but there is an underlying setting. You see there is an absolute chance that Russia is active in Germany, but there are doubts within me. Russia has a lot more problems than many of us realise. And there we, optionally, now have a new player in the German field. The radical sited lone wolf getting their message from Tehran. I will come right out with ‘it is speculative’, it is my speculation. You see with “Holes mysteriously found cut in army base fences” we see part of the deception. If it was me, I would hide 2-3 drones, out of sight with a good view of several buildings, not flying in a landed state. Army camps have many roofs and not of them are watched all the time. And a landed drone leaves no signature. So there the culprit, optional plural have drilled a hole in a fence, nicely hidden, but not strong enough that it will avoid detection. So the guard patrols call it in and suddenly the base is rushing to the sensitive places and checking them out. And now with the drone cameras they will know WHERE to hit that place, optionally not hitting that place at all (that week). The army signature move is to check all the sensitive areas as well as the munition storage and armouries. Their alert giving the lone wolves where to come soon enough and that time there are no holes at entry.

Not a case they expected, but this is not an intentional Cold War or Cold War 2.0, it is a Cold War 2/LW (Lone Wolf). A new setting and most standard procedures will not suffice, well they might but you are up against a different enemy, the Lone Wolf is desperate for success and more important, he/she will be more desperate for success, as such they will resort to killing a lot sooner, as such the plan changes somewhat. Whether they are out for secrets to dispense to a player like Iran (optionally one of their agents via Hamas, Hezbollah, or Houthi). I see this as a realistic setting.

We cannot merely rely on:

  • An alleged plot to assassinate Germany’s top weapons manufacturer.
  • Phone taps on a high-level Luftwaffe call.

These are still settings that are happening and it is even possible that these are separate issues. In any espionage setting the Luftwaffe taps could most definitely be Russia as for the alleged assassination. It is anyones guess who it is and how real it is. The danger of an assassination cannot be ignored, but these people are aware of those dangers and the replacement is likely to be a lot more dangerous than the one they replaced. When the danger becomes realistic, the claws come out and they will suddenly be a lot more dangerous, as well as the BND (Bundesnachrichtendienst), they will at that point be out for blood, all of the blood they can lay their hands on.

So am I right?
Not sure, but I just gave you a scenario that I came up with in 5 minutes. These Lone Wolves have been brooding over a plan for months. It is there that we see the folly that I saw in the case involving Saad bin Khalid Al Jabri in Canada. In 2021 we get from 60 minutes that Mohammed bin Salman wanted him dead. This might be true, but then we get in August 2020 that ‘Saudi hit squad was sent to Toronto to try to kill former intel official, lawsuit alleges’ (source: Toronto Star) with a 100 page lawsuit and in the end none of the allegations have been proven in court. What a jolly shit show. There was another article (I forgot where it was) stating that the Tiger Team of 30 man were employed. To give you a little rundown, after 42 years leaving the army (draft) I came up with a simple idea of using 3 teams of 2 man and at the end of that exercise that would have taken a mere 20 minutes with one team active for an additional 12 hours, there was no living Al Jabri, he would be as dead as the concrete building he was living in. OK, I do not know the setup of that building, but it would be a simple exercise for 3 teams of 2 (one team observing and directing. An optional use for the M202A1 66mm FLASH with adjusted missiles would be used (in a certain debilitating case) but that is merely on a ‘what if’ whim. The rest is a simple exercise using two boom boom items. Hard case, a mere exercise and I am certain that certain parties (who are in this field) could have thought of this long before I did. I have had my issues with the assumptions that Saad bin Khalid Al Jabri have tried to sway us with. The other fact was that the US, where a lot was set in their courts (even though he was in Canada) with all kinds of objections against the Saudi representative there. I had my doubts on a lot of it. This is a mere setting and this now goes back to Germany. Is there an optional Cold War brewing? That is very much possible, but in all this the Lone Wolf is optionally overlooked. So are these the actions of a Lone Wolf, or a Lone Woof. Anyone can make a hole in a fence, having the Army run around would be fun the the lone woof looking from a distance, it does not make for a base invasion. So at the near end of the article we get “Not all of these events can definitively be blamed on Moscow, but Germany is on heightened alert for possible acts of Russian sabotage, because of Berlin’s continued military support for Kyiv” this is a better be safe then sorry and I cannot disagree, but the media had a decent responsibility to state more than this and the mere ‘Not all of these events can definitively be blamed on Moscow’ was not enough. With Russian sympathisers all over Europe a lot more was required, because belief it or not Lone Wolves are a clear and present danger to many European nations. Troll farms are ‘their’ essential misinformation, but merely misinforming people and watch it unfold tends to be only entertaining in the first few hours. When we get to tipping scales, actions tend to be needed to make the scales tip over a lot more, but that is merely my point of view.

As “last month when CNN reported that US officials had told Berlin of an alleged Russian plot to kill the chief executive of Germany’s biggest arms company Rheinmetall” doubts come into play again. You see a player like Rheinmetall has procedures in place for this level of events, of that I have no doubt. So what is to be gained from a simple and single execution? Is it the target, or is it a ploy to keep the BND active in the wrong places? Lets not forget that Sun Tzu taught us that all war is based on deception. So how did CNN get the news? Any alleged plot (especially from Russia) would be based on the expertise by people like the GRU and they do not talk (if they do President Putin has a lot more problems that he realises). So how did CNN get it, what were the sources? As such I have to some degree my doubts on this.

Have a fun day and that red dot you see on your chest? It’s merely your imagination.

Behind the eyelids

Two dreams got to me and they both happened on the same night. The first one is weird in all kinds of ways. I cannot tell whether it is the foundation of a game, a movie or something else. In this dream it is mostly about some new MMORPG. It has a scientific side. You see the premise is that in these games most people become like herd-people. They will cluster into tasks. There will always be the ‘hero’ and goes racing into enemy hands getting himself (or herself) killed. In this my mind reached back to the original Star Trek specifically the episode ‘Shore Leave’ there we learn “The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.” That quote always meant something to me. Now consider the MMORPG and now we can monitor interactions, but not draining the game. In this two bird types are addd to the game. The Albatros, a bird that flies around the shores of a nation and it has the ability to carpet the fields collecting thoughts and observing interactions to groups of people and the second bird is the Hawk. That one focusses on smaller areas and can pick up one specific character. Now you think that there is not a lot more, but consider that these two can like the character to the actual person outside of the game. Now we have a way to tag people, the undesirable and the willing. You see, the more simplistic the setting (Roman, Greek, Carthaginians, Egyptian), the more basic the weapons, the more that person will embrace his character, the character will more and more be the real person. That also means that now those behind the screens can unite the both and find the willing, the dangerous and the unknown players. Without any real intrusion to that persons ‘privacy’ the people orchestrating the game can make a mould of groups and clusters of people. That was as far as I got. There are all kinds of ‘measurements’ in real life and for the most they are all marketing based, but what happens when games take them to the next stage? It is not out of the realm of possibilities and that could make for a nice game, or movie for that matter.

The second dream took me to Slovenia (never been there myself). In the dream it was a movie (of sorts) the main roles were a spymaster of the CIA being called to the issues in Slovenia where he spend his early years and he had fond memories of it. Slovenia was overrun by the Russians and it was a power-knot of Russian forces, the FSB and the GRU. Central in the story was a fort or castle where they were housed at. The spymaster was played by Brian Cox (the true love of Helen Mirren, R.E.D.) and his student and main protagonist Ryan Gosling (aka Barbie’s Ken). The story is that taking out the heads of the FSB and GRU will throw the entire setting in turmoil and there they have an edge. A electrician and sympathiser found a door leading to a secret exit. He closed the door and sealed the door claiming it has dangerous toxic fumes. The door doesn’t lead to anything as such it was accepted. And he leads the people through the secret exit into the castle. We see him rewire lights and rewire options and the exit leads to a small room with two connecting rooms. They smuggle in hardware, they smuggle in equipment and they are ready. They have to wait three days until that sumit starts and several Russian bigwigs are in attendance.  In the meantime Brian and Ryan are around town confirming what they can and as the buildup of Russian forces are visible they seem to be on the wining side. In the meantime the Slovenian resistance has their head people in the room as well, they all want a claim towards striking such a blow to Russia. It is whilst driving Brian notices something, He grabs a baby monitor (CIA edition) and quickly states “It’s a trap, get out, get out now”, they sit in the car surrounded by Russian trucks being as small a shadow as possible. He states to Ryan “How many Russian soldiers do you know reading the bible whilst on watch?” The electrician was FSB, this was a play from the beginning to capture the Slovenian resistance. And yes, the door opens and Russian forces come pouring in. They had set up some traps with Ammonia and bleach (creating Chlorine gas) but the two dozen soldiers are all wearing masks. The resistance is all captured. Ryan has an idea to get back in and complete the mission, but he has a trump card. He studied the plans and that room links to another place. That is where he placed some boobytrapped weapons and he gets there by stealth killing the Russian soldiers and placing MRUD’s (Slovenian claymore) on the stairwell. He then goes to the place he knew about and uses some clustered RPG on the dignitaries stand who were there to watch the resistance leaders die. He escapes as quickly as possible and we do never know how the resistance people fared. He hopes that the confusion gave them an escape option. He then aids Brian as he was suckered into this deal by finding a former CIA executive, who was a Russian double all along.

Brian walks away from his friends corpse stating “Sometimes you bite the bear, when you do make sure you bite hard” and Ryan follows him.

One night, optional watching two movies for free. Well, they don’t exist yet, so that is my creative mind on a binge in dreamland.

Have a great Friday, only 3 days until Monday.
