As the gaming sense enters

That was the setting I faced yesterday. I ‘suddenly’ had an idea for gaming IP. This setting was for Sony, Nintendo and the streamers Amazon and Tencent. The idea is to separate the parts of a game. The story, the stage and the character. It can to me as I was watching Battle of the 5 armies and that gave me an idea. The Lord of the rings gave me the settings of Osgiliath, Minas Tirith, Helm’s Deep, Lake Town, Dale, Mines of Moria but also Acre, Antioch, Jerusalem, Plassey, Buxar but also more ‘modern’ wars like the the war in Leiden and Rotterdam these are mere stages, but the characters are the ones you define from some of the lord of the Rings characters (based on, not characters as is). During the movie my mind went into the setting what an one man do? So you could be stealth based like a ranger (or elf) a close quarter knight like templar or saracen, German or Dutch resistance. The idea is that these settings are separate, even though they can net er ‘bleed’ into other areas. So, the first character is YOUR choice. LOTR, Crusades or WW2 and you select warrior or ranger and that is your first setting, when you get to a higher level (3 or 5) you get the option to get to an exit and ave your upgraded character. At which point time you get the other character in one of the other levels (or your first choice was an LOTR character you will be able to select the Crusader/Saracen or German/Dutch resistance) and you will ALWAYS get the other type, so if you selected stealth based in the first instance you will be forced to select the warrior in the other timeframe, but you get to select the timeframe.

It force a more open setting and after that you get to select the next iteration. Whilst the safe will give you more health, a passive attribute and more weapon abilities. The control are slightly based on For Honor. It was not my choice, but it was a whole lot better then what we had before, but the sticks are for the left and right arms, and this will enable more agility for left handed players, whilst  the adaptive trigger is the action for that arm and movement are done via the buttons (triangle, Square, Circle and cross) and their Nintendo equivalents. It will through over the world of the button masher and beyond that I haven’t worked out all the knacks that this brings but I reckon that the left directions are for abilities/tools and the shoulder buttons will have another function.

So as we set these worlds there are more settings to come, but the variable worlds gave me the idea to have some kind of story which only opens up after you enter the second world the it will become enabled and that I got from:

It seems that this might open up other settings too, and whilst you are trying to find things in the worlds you are visiting, it might give a clue towards your goals. You see, the goals that are always tied to your mini-map are merely traverse points whilst the setting becomes the joy of where you are (an RPG quirk I guess). But that setting will be another level of acceptance and whilst this game could start small (merely three maps) a startup company could add the other maps over time (like three maps per month) And the setting of the character you ‘envision’ yourself as might be another setting entirely. I have some ideas about the story but I will not put them here now. And as I set out the game possibilities in under two days I feel pretty proud of myself. It beats having to read the BS the media gives us on what President Trump is up to now and whilst I do not agree with the setting that Secretary general Mark Rutte is giving the world and he might just be ‘appeasing’ president Trump, but as far as I can tell, NATO is pretty much ready for whatever non nuclear solution Russia is pushing down their throats, but that might be merely the delusion I am seeing. Still when I see the Danish parliament howling with laughter on what President Trump was sending them, I feel pretty much correct on my sentiments. It is also the first time a foreign government is howling with laughter on what any president of the United States is offering them, so it is not merely me who is seeing him as a joke.

Still, the creation of new gaming IP is more value by me and as such I got to this and setting this game in a 4K setting makes it ready for Sony, Nintendo (Switch 2) and streaming solutions. The idea I had with the 4 ‘time frames’ Tolkien, Crusades, British India and WW2 is important to the story of the game, but not essential. Optional a 5th setting which gives us Khartoum and Battle of Rorke’s Drift, Falkland Islands, Invasion of Darfur and at least two more are needed but that is a matter of a later day. Consider that these settings could be played almost anytime (when all regions are unlocked) it feeds the gaming need when people can play the battle of Dale or Osgiliath after they watch the movie. It is a strange presence all gamers have and I reckon that this approach might be the next setting in gaming because when the characters are ironed out, including a WW2 character with the wars in Iraq or Yemen would be relatively easy as the architecture would allow additional maps. A game that feeds the next war in the setting of gaming is one that has not been considered before (as far as I can tell) and it allows for a stronger presence on these platforms, all whilst whomever does it for the Switch 2 might gain 10 million fans overnight, but that is a worry for the maker not for me.

Have a great day as I am relaxing now with some ice water as it is 28 degrees now and 31 degrees in my living room.

WYSIWYS

We have a stage where what you see is what you speculate. I agree and I do not deny it, but the numbers (as I have stated over and over again) are wrong. As such, the COVID mess will get a hell of a lot worse this year. We will get governmental people spouting yaba-yaba, yet the stage is there and the damage is soon coming. For this, we merely have to look to the Corona site (at https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/), this site has been giving us numbers since the beginning, they are not starting. They report on the numbers given to them and that is where the shoes become too tight for dancing.

You see, to consider my point of view we can use the Netherlands with 17 million people and the numbers reflect that one in 20 wither had or has the coronavirus. Then we go to number one, the United States where 25% of all global cases  had or has that flu. For them it boils down to roughy 7% of the population. Now consider India where only 10 million in 1,300 million, a mere 10% of America. There is no way that this adds up, it is what I call the left view, if you do not mention it, it might go away, well it does not and it will not.

The problem is that India could fester into a real global problem and the news is silent on that. In all this I mention the infected, not the mortality rate, because that will become a rather worse setting and a much more complex one, as such I merely focus on the infected.

All this is important, it is important because we get dragged into these lockdowns, and I am not against lockdowns when it serves a purpose. But India is a much larger stage. You see, what nations have a restriction with people from India? In addition to that, when we consider the Dutch epidemiologist Frits Roosendaal who gave us that there is a 40% chance on a false negative. (At https://lawlordtobe.com/2020/12/28/the-lull-of-writing/), at The Lull of writing.

Now, we do not like the word ‘false’ I get that and a false positive is one thing, but a false negative? The infected can travel and infect others and we are left in the dark.

Most governments are seemingly IGNORING this. I get the setting that they want to check whether the findings are supported or not. They might even be set to oppose it, that is fair if there is a valid reason (the Dutch LUMC is on the same quality as John Hopkins, so good luck with that). The setting is ignoring a dangerous situation making things worse. I did find something (at https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0242958), there we are given “The collected evidence has several limitations, including risk of bias issues, high heterogeneity, and concerns about its applicability. Nonetheless, our findings reinforce the need for repeated testing in patients with suspicion of SARS-Cov-2 infection given that up to 54% of COVID-19 patients may have an initial false-negative RT-PCR (very low certainty of evidence)”, and 54% amounts to one in two persons, this is bad, this is really really bad and the media and governments seemingly intentionally ignoring these findings is making matters worse.

Most nations have ignored the stage to shut down all airports, they happily spread the disease from nation to nation and in this India might be ten times worse than the Mary Mallon (Typhoid Mary) ever was, but do not fear, most of us will get to learn that lesson in 2021.

We do not need a media that hides things from us, we need one that genuinely informs us and this is the second source I found which was less than a month old, when I started seeking the information, I had access to the original report in 10 minutes, so either I am a lot more intelligent than any media person, or someone is telling them to hide facts, and when exactly was that EVER a good idea?

WYSIWYS – What You See Is What You Speculate. I am not saying it is the greatest setting, but I am doing it based on two academic pieces, two sources of scientific origin, can you do better?

The lull of writing

We all have it, a small gap, a gap, which is not the same as a writing block, something I have been smitten with in the past as well. This lull was intentional, you see, I found information tht changes the game, it explains a few matters and sets a different premise. I found it two days ago and I waited to see who would pick it up, and would you believe NO ONE HAS. The apparent setting is one that requires scrutiny, the two sources are high end sources, one is a (what some would call) an Ivy League university that is as renowned as John Hopkins medical school is, the Dutch NOS has had a long term high level journalistic side that equals the New York Times and the Washington Post. They give us ‘Leids onderzoek: veel gebruikte sneltest minder betrouwbaar dan gedacht’ (at https://nos.nl/artikel/2362024-leids-onderzoek-veel-gebruikte-sneltest-minder-betrouwbaar-dan-gedacht.html), the title translates to ‘Leiden research: frequently used rapid test less reliable than expected’, it gives us “Een sneltest die in Nederland dagelijks duizenden keren wordt gebruikt mist 40 procent van de coronagevallen, komt naar voren uit onderzoek van het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC)”, which translated gives us “a quicktest that is used thousands of times in the Netherlands misses 40% of the corona cases, this is found by the Leiden University Medical Cantre”, this is a dire setting indeed, and one that is kept from the people and the media, I wonder why. The micro biologist Maurine Leversteijn-Van Hall gives us “people are going home thinking that a negative result implies that they are free of COVID-19 this is incorrect”, I was shocked to learn this and the fact that these two renowned sources give us this, is a worry, the fact that others are not asking questions and have not given its people any information is a larger worry still, the fact that they blatantly copy one another on the setting of the tits of a Kardashian or how its hanging with Ryan Reynolds, it it sinking in that the media setting is largely facilitating to shareholder, stake holder and advertiser?

So when we are given the carefully phrased denial ““Abbott’s Panbio antigen rapid test is a proven and accurate test,” the manufacturer argues. “We are not aware of this investigation and the researchers have not contacted us.”” The additional ““But we do not find that 90 percent sensitivity”, says lead researcher Frits Rosendaal, professor of epidemiology at the LUMC. “We conduct independent research and never contact producers about it.” Is added worry still.

The fact that this is not out in the English speaking open after 2 days is food for thought, and even as many do not have the multi linguistic skills I have is not their fault, the fact that the media is not all over this is a clear failing of the larger media. So whilst the larger media is all over ‘Japan’s Shinzo Abe apologises over ‘cherry blossom’ scandal’, the fact that they are not all over the Dutch findings of. Failing quick test in light of the 4,045 new dearly departed of the Coronavirus in the last 24 hours is a large worry, a worry we might happily ignore, if it was not for the fact that 81 million people either have, or had the virus. A stage we are so willing to ignore, so when the numbers go out there and the vaccine, is equally failing, will you start to take things seriously? Will the media wake up, or will they flame it in need for digital click coins?

I will leave it up to you to make up your mind, yet consider that the NOS article, after you pass it through the Google Translate will leave you with a lot of questions, I wonder who will give you the answers, when you realise that the media is not the party earning your trust (well most of them anyway), where will you find the stage where you can make up your mind?

I apologise or leaving you with many questions and no real answers, I am not a medic, I will not give advice where you need answers to clear and concise questions, this is up to people who are educated in the knowledge of Medicine, yet consider that two sources, one in journalism (NOS) and one in medicine (Leiden Medical University) give us a serious failing of 40% and no one is picking that up, why is that? Not merely not picking it up, but also not openly opposing the findings, it is a worry and a clear question mark.

I wish I could tell you more, but I could not wait any longer to inform you, and hopefully we see more in the coming days, even though I remain doubtful of it and it is another clear example on how shareholders, stake holders and advertisers seem to have a pressure point on the media.

I will leave you to make up your own mind.
