The wrongly seen direction

That is at times a question and at times a statement. Now consider your PlayStation (or Nintendo) and I think that Nintendo has a small advantage here. So consider a business setting (for the exercise) There is a given that “Project statistics involve analyzing data related to project performance (like budget, timeline, scope) and project management success rates, with common metrics including cost performance, progress, and stakeholder satisfaction, while tools like R help in complex analysis for academic or business research. Key figures show many successful projects usually have strong sponsors.” So consider this towards the upcoming PS6, isn’t it time to give the users that ability to see where they spend their times on? Like Nintendo with a calendar and a setting where you can see app use per user (so you can have a guest account for others if needed) and a setting where you see usage of apps like YouTube, Netflix and others, whilst also seeing games and now it gives a timeline optionally per game or per gaming house, per gaming style. I am certain that some are already doing it for themself but as I see it, it has never been offered to the users. Consider that ‘your’ online shop like Nintendo or Sony Store could crush those numbers and say ‘Hey, you spend a lot of time in this style of game and these games are now in the budget range’ this is not always a welcome setting but for a lot who have to mind their pennies, the setting of a similar game like the one you love to play is a welcome sight to your wallet. The other setting is that you could export your statistics on a game, or on anything to your memory stick and then spread it to your online presence. It is a small setting that I have no seen on the PS3, PS4, PS4pro or PS5. I think that this is an almost mandatory next step, especially as the gamers in the world will have a better understanding if the optional benefits of Business Intelligence when applied to whatever matters to them the most.

The benefits are that most data is already captured for the gamers, optionally per game, so there is not much reengineering required. The calendar is a welcome addition and game makers can add (as per request of the gamer) the upcoming release dates for games they are announcing and that will be in the interest of most gamers. Now consider that the use of Achievements and other setting can now be set outside of the games they are chasing and for that there are many consideration to be made. For Sony this would also give a new handle of appealing to players on a global setting. Because let’s face it, they are driven to success and to see where that success is captured is as essential for Sony (Nintendo too) as it is for the gamers. You can ‘hide’ behind the hours played on for example, Hogwarts Legacy and it goes beyond the 150,000 hours played in weeks x, The idea that we have 15,000 gamers who spend 1-2 hours on it (still an important metric) but it is the rest of the 120,000 hours played by 600 gamers in week x, that is where the real treasure lies and offering that to the gamers has benefits beyond measure. Optionally it could be linked to cosmetic rewards like a ‘house’ outfit that Avalanche could spread like the one Colin Farrell had in Fantastic beasts. Optionally with the house colour replacing the white.

And for the lady players there is a nice dress that Queenie Goldstein had, it is merely an idea, but you get the picture.

There is a boatload of ideas coming from that area and I reckon that most game studios already have that in mind. Epic Games in their Fortnite has spewed close to hundreds of ideas in the time they have been active and gamers love unique rewards. I reckon Epic Games have a truckload of examples there, so why not use that setting to promote the PS6 and Sony’s drive to success. With Microsoft out of the running (as I see it) Sony needs to up the ante to keep up with Nintendo, because that is becoming the issue that is next. Because as I see it, gaming is warfare and Nintendo is showing to be just as equal as the one and only Sony and there is the thought that they are already lacking in that respect. We always saw the fight between Microsoft and Sony as the one that mattered and Nintendo won that a few years ago and the Switch 2 is merely adding to the distance it is gaining, as such it is time for Sony to move towards a better position in that race, because running by yourself without a real opponent is nothing to smile at, it merely makes you go contempt in your race whilst others are passing you by. As such we need to consider that Nintendo Switch sales with exceeding 154 million units globally, making it one of the best-selling consoles ever. Surpassing anything Sony has had in the mix and as I see it, Microsoft being a distant fourth in that equation. But for Sony there is a need to being better and they can do it, as such I see the metrics to be added to the fold will give the gamer a much better understanding on where he spends his (or her) time and the goes a long way towards promoting their shop and their titles.

Have a great day today and never stop gaming.

In memoriam

I saw the stage unfold and I am still seeing the downfall of Florida, but the UAE just added the cherry flavored candy coating to that obituary. This was always going to happen, but two elements added to this evolutionary accelerated game. First there was Governor DeSantis who (seemingly) anti-Woke decided to give Disney a run for its money in all kinds of anti settings. I do not know all the details, but they are there. As such there was a diminished setting for tourism setting the destination to Florida. No matter how great the Epic Universe looks (and it looks beyond amazing for what I can see on YouTube), the stage was set. Then we get this whatever he calls himself in the White House playing the tariff game and impeding tourism in America (as I personally see it) and the busk of all Canadian are looking for another destination (plenty of Europeans too), so that is stage 1. The diminished interest in Florida, and even if you think that is not enough (and it isn’t), the UAE and Disney create a bond which will get Disney World to Abu Dhabi on (you guessed it) Yas Island. It will be sitting next to Warner Brothers World, Ferrari World, Water World and Sea World. When Disney opens its doors the setting of Stage 2 is achieved.

Universal and Disney which was able to keep tourism in Florida will be setting a larger exodus of Tourism towards the UAE. It makes sense that Disney wanted to get in on the Emirati business, it they had not gotten there, others would have. So the business setting was clear and I saw this evolve over a year ago (minus the Disney part).

I even set that stage in the article (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2024/01/25/those-happy-dreams/) where I wrote ‘Those happy dreams’ at that point I saw that tourism would be a larger setting and the service call to that pool of people had to be serviced differently. An overhaul of tourist serviceability through a customer care setting, in stead of a sales setting (which had been the focal point of many). With Saudi Arabia and its NEOM settings and now an even larger setting in Abu Dhabi warrants that change. I reckon that this might be a call upon Miral Experiences LLC to evolve their systems and make an Arabic solution which could also be deployed all over Saudi Arabia, an (optionally) c connected system that gives the tourist 110% of what others give them without impeding their own costs, optionally dwindling down some costs and making a system more efficient towards the tourist industry. When that is achieved other locations would follow.

So now only will Florida not survive the outcome of all this, but it will evolve the settings for the UAE immensely. As such we could even see additional growth. And with the bullet train going from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, this high-speed train will enable individuals to travel in just 30 minutes, reaching speeds of up to 350 km/h. My sneaky brain even came up with a second train that leaves at 07:00 from Dubai, getting them ready to party in Abu Dhabi. The NM95 (painted in the Hogwarts Express colors) with NM meaning Non-Muggle and 95 being the square of 9 3/4 (ok, I did a little rounding, but 95.0625 might be a little weird on a train). So when these people depart from Dubai, in a Harry Potter (or fantastic beasts) themed train, the vacation merely goes with them on a journey. A setting where people take one week in Abu Dhabi and the second week in Dubai, with the non-tax setting of the UAE, a family buying iPhones for mum, dad and junior, the savings there pretty much enables that trip. I reckon that the UAE will be cleaning house in American tourism for years. And the stage that the BBC gives us (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cdrgr2zzv00o) ‘Disney to open theme park in the Middle East’ a mere 8 hours ago will have hidden treasures for the UAE as a whole. Disney might still be grabbing their 30%, but the larger cake with be for Miral Experiences LLC and the UAE. And with the quote “It added that 120 million passengers travel through Abu Dhabi and Dubai every year, making the Emirates the biggest global airline hub in the world.” I reckon that it will grow much closer to 150,000,000 soon thereafter.

You see, with the Harry Potter world added to Warner Brothers (somewhere in 2026) and Disney coming after that, I reckon that anyone who faced fears over the Tumpisms of tariffs and other shenanigans will see Yas Islands with its amazing mall, and theme parks and on 4-7 Dec 2025 the Formula one as well, Abu Dhabi will be the place to be starting this year. So if they evolve tourism services in the UAE, Florida is pretty much done for, as such I see a speculated ‘In Memoriam’ appear in global newspaper in the near future. And I (yet again) got here a year early. I’ll be honest, I never knew that Disney was on route, but it made sense that they would come this way. And I reckon that there is another setting. You see, the amount of power required for Yas Island might in the nearest of futures require its own small nuclear powered reactor soon enough. Abu Dhabi (as I personally see it) already required it, but a Disney resort might make that a essential thing. It would probably fuel Abu Dhabi and Dubai, so something half way makes sense.

I reckon that the spaciousness of Abu Dhabi and Yas Island would fuel the need for growing the mall as well as place 1-2 hotels in that mall as well.

A simple setting that President Trump overlooked when he started to play the tariff war. Now that the world has had enough of it, they are seeking another destination, the world sees a large neon sign stating “نحن هنا” (I’ll let you figure that one out). A setting comes an essential solution to a lot of tourists and the UAE is almost ready to provide. With the tax breaks that the UAE offers (Apple now has a new destination for its superiorly build iPhones), tourism in Dubai will fuel Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi will fuel the need to see Dubai. Both profiting and people get a new stage that they haven’t seen before. As I see it all winners. OK, America will sulk like a little girl but they basically put this on themselves.

Have a great day muggles, try the liquorices wands if you can, if not, there is always coffee.

Creating magic

There is an old saying, take a technologically advanced people, show their abilities to a non evolved people and they will consider this magic. This is not new, it was done in the 19th century, it was done in the 18th century and so forth. Yet, the people look at the Harry Potter series, going off like Vernon Dursley stating “There is no such thing as magic” but they would be wrong, magic is more than waving a wand, it is creating true innovation. There is a place in New York (The Cauldron NYC Magical Pub), and it is not alone. I saw a video on YouTube (not sure which place it was) and it inspired me to create a printable display. Yes, a display that is printed and can be of almost any dimension. So is it magic? Well, no, not in the sense that some believe it to be, and no wand waving was required. But today, as I was watching The Secrets of Dumbledore, I had an idea. In this third Fantastic beasts movie, there was another altercation with Giggle-water. The altercation was between the water and Dan Fogler (the water won). But it got me thinking. What if there I giggle-water?

Consider that in the old days dentists used laughing gas. It was Nitrous oxide. Now consider the Sodastream concept (it has been out long before Sodastream existed), but what if we can induce it like a soda charge, we mix it into a water-like substance. Perhaps a water with a grape-juice quality and add the Nitrous oxide into this. Would it work? I do not know, I never tried it, but consider the tens of millions of Harry Potter fans. How many of them would try giggle-water?

I feel certain most of them would try it, so if there is a chest and soda maker who can get this to work, he could be multimillionaire overnight and corner another end of the food chain. I am not doing it as it does not play to my strengths, and I guarantee you that this would not be a strength. Does it exist at present? I do not think so, or it would be in every supermarket. But I wonder who has been digging into this direction? I do not know, it is just another crazy idea that is going through my mind. After todays debacle, almost drowning whilst walking the street, having to avoid bull sharks in North Sydney because it was so wet that the sharks can now swim all over Sydney, the idea popped into my head as I was avoiding the snapping jaws of a shark. Well, crazier things have happened, but not in Sydney, not today. I felt more rain drowning me between 07:30 and 09:00 than all the rains over the last 17 years, so my day was pretty screwed up.

At least I had another crazy idea you get to see here and I reckon that after a nap with a lemon grog, I might have something more up my sleeve.

Smell you later!
