As the idea erupted

This happens, we do one thing and suddenly an idea erupts. In this case I was thinking of the second script that I am generating in Final Draft.

It was a setting that made me think for a moment. And this setting came from the days of the Commodore Amiga. I even was working an reset emulated version of the game in Macromedia Flash, just 1-2 weeks before I suddenly was made redundant. I suddenly had to relocate from Stockholm to Gorinchem when I got screwed over by my previous boss. But the thought got to me and I thought “Wouldn’t this make a great small budget movie?” An ‘almost’ one person movie with its own narration. Most of the movie in a sort of CGI and an interaction with computers and a sort of deserted place. It might not be the Hollywood stage of stories and not really for the big screen, but an idea that a streaming company might like or consider. In a stage where they have to pump billion into material, a low budget might have a much better chance. They can test an actor or actress as well as the director and director of filming in a cheaper setting. As such 3-5 people straight out of film school. I reckon that Pedro Pascal, Tom Hanks, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Steven Spielberg would be too expensive. But there are over 50,000 actors many of them do not have a place in Bel Air, not to mention of the amount of Directors in the field. New players have a hard time getting through. So, here the speculated number race through my head and now there is a viable setting. The stage of using low budget films to create a talent pool of newbies. You know people like Pedro Pascal had a lucky break. Considering he was the man behind Napoleon Dynamite (vote for Pedro), I know I can be quirky (read: funny) at times. Still the premise remains, luck isn’t always available so what then? I believe that low budget movies are part of that key and places like Dubai Media are likely to break through their own confinements and start breaking through into the West European streaming markets. There is an upside to that. When the current borders by Netflix and Disney plus start pushing their own limitations others could be there taking up the slack. You see one source is stating ‘The US will need 22,700 film directors over the next 10 years’, I cannot vouch for the accuracy there. Yet this implies that ever upper level University will need to fight off job offers with a stick for 100% of their art students. I nice setting, but not realistic. Adding a talent pool becomes essential and not merely for these people, they will all need scripts. There are plenty of them around, but how good are they?

These elements put the larger streamers on the spot and those ready to grow could enter new fields. This puts Dubai Media in a nice place and lets not forget iQiyi and Tencent Media either. America might hate all that is Chinese, but I reckon that Europe is more open to this stage. As the mindset goes that in the first century Decimus Junius Juvenalis stated “Give them bread and games and they will never revolt” It was around the age of Emperor Trajan. What strikes me was that no-one considered owning the bakers. It might be merely a coin per bread, however the Colosseum had 50-80 thousand spectators and that makes for a nice penny. And there were more places over the empire of Rome where these places had crowds. Being the admiral of baker makes perfect sense to me. Even today ‘give them bread and games’ applies but in this setting nowadays growing the streaming services makes a lot more sense. And there to centrality of content becomes a new focal point. Everyone is looking towards Hollywood, but there is a problem there. California is losing their focus, they are saturated, so new borders are required. The Middle East and Asia make sense and when Europe finds out that the American prices are getting too high the aforementioned three players as well as other other streamers will see their markets erupt. Not to mention countries like Indonesia and Bangladesh that over these two countries have a little over half a billion citizens, we see a disrupted market. All looking at California and Hollywood to hand them materials, but the ongoing mass emigration of residents and businesses from California to other U.S. states (Texas) or countries is about to leave California is a near desperate state and the desperate need to pay a lot more. That opens the doors for the Middle East and Asia to make their mark. It is almost the proverbial butterfingered aide putting all egg in one basket. 

All that came to me in a near instant (in less than on hour) whilst was contemplating a low budget movie. I have no idea yet how to do that (I have three other projects in my brains) but it is something to keep in mind. Considering that this setting will take time to implode (before 2026) I still have time and until the end of the year I need to focus on the next two projects but Residuam Vitam comes first.

Discarded

That happens, things are discarded, things get thrown away. Yet how do we react when it is a child? That was the thought that came over me when I saw the news on CBC (at https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/toronto-rosedale-memorial-girl-dumpster-1.6835095) giving us ‘Rosedale community members hold memorial service for little girl found dead in Toronto dumpster’ Now some will gasp in horror, some will react overly emotionally, yet is that fair? I am seemingly unwavering in my lack of emotions. I have no idea who the child is and the people over there in Canada are reacting, some more emotional then others. Yet from a basic point of view there is the stage of why should we care? Don’t get me wrong, if you care fine, nothing against it. I have no children, never had them so the first emotional block is not there. Then there is the realisation of all the paperwork that hits a person when a relative, sibling or child dies. At times I wonder why people care more about the ‘after’ care than the actual care. The fact that at present no one has a clue who this child was proves my point. CBC gives us “Investigators don’t believe the girl was ever reported missing to police in Canada.” This is not on the investigators, but consider that this child has been gone for well over a year and no one noticed any missing child in their direct vicinity. This is an issue. Was the child illegally there? That is a possibility. I do think that if she was not illegally there, then there is an optional security issue. The child’s existence could be used to get a fake person into Canada. Then we get Michelle Miller-Guillot, a member of the Rosedale Presbyterian Church stating “Every child deserves a name, every child deserves to leave this earth with dignity, with some honour” this is a fair believe to have and it is fine to have it, but at times I wonder if that is true in Christianity, why do we see the mention of Canadian Indian residential school gravesites nearly everywhere? What dignity and honour was bestowed on them? We see quotes like “between 3,200 and 6,000 students died while attending the Canadian Indian residential school system. The exact number remains unknown due to incomplete records.” So no records? The Anishinabe of Wauzhushk Onigum Nation, comes from one of several searches underway at former Indigenous schools across Canada and in that setting (source: NY Times) gives us that this has happened for a century, so where is the honour and dignity there? 

So was this all about a child in a dumpster, or is it about something more? But thee is one thing that bothers me, the original inhabitants of the America’s (US and Canada) have throughout history discarded their native inhabitants in many ways, as did the UK convicts (Australians) to the aboriginals. History (and christians) were not kind on original inhabitants of land and one child in a dumpster will not bring that out, but it needs to come out. Over 30 Native American tribes are now extinct. Just out of curiosity, how many people got the history lesson in Primary or High School regarding the California genocide? I reckon that this number is pretty low, I can tell you that internationally it never showed up in our curriculums as far as I am aware of. I only learned about the aboriginal slaughter through a movie called ‘Quigley Down Under’ (1990) a gem with Tom Selleck and the late Alan Rickman. What we did in the past matters and it is becoming more and more important to realise that when we look at places like the middle east. We are hard pressed to get some flaky Human rights report like “Access Now and Global Partners Digital are proud to launch a new report, Evading accountability through internet shutdowns: Trends in Africa and the Middle East”, yet the reality is that Christians were great at that for centuries going all the way back to Tomás de Torquemada, Grand Inquisitor of the Tribunal of the Holy Office (1483-1498) as such we have plenty of dirty laundry in our baskets, not to mention of the well over a thousand of clergy that had a go at the minors in their churches. So why are we up in arms about this child? Is it because it happens under the eyes of the law and administrations? It did not do the thousands of First Nationals attending the Canadian Indian residential school system any good, did it?

The price of exploitation

This time I am going in a different direction, one I know little (say: nothing) about, yet the news the BBC gives me is baffling me. I wonder if the US (and Hollywood) realise the dangers of exploitation, even more important how it could impact their economy. To start this we need to take a look at ‘How a Hollywood strike could affect your favourite TV shows’ (at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-65407703). Now to be clear strikes happen, they are almost a fact of life. You are either striking, or you get hit by the impact directly or indirectly. So here we get “The biggest issue is how writers are paid in the new streaming economy, with many reporting lower wages as digital platforms have upended traditional television and film productions, says the Writers Guild of America, the union representing television and film writers.” And then we get the ugly “Hollywood’s business model has been completely disrupted by streaming, and now writers complain of being asked to provide weeks or months of free rewrites of scripts” and that got to me. An institution that gets a billion or more per movie? That institution has to ask for rewrites under zero hours compensation? How fucked up is Hollywood? We can go in any direction, but Hollywood made $7,370,000,000 in 2022. I reckon shelling out 130-150 million for 11,500 Writers Guild member is not that big a leap, especially when you realise that “The last writers’ strike in 2007-2008 lasted 100 days and cost the California economy $2bn (£1.6bn), leading to many cancelled or delayed shows. Some have also credited it with boosting the proliferation of reality TV.” The business person in me states that losing 150 million is preferable to losing 2,000 million to a strike with the added loss of optionally successful TV series. As such I wonder where the greed driven stage of Hollywood is taking them, especially when Canada has its own production companies and they could get up to 100 days of advance house cleaning (the house names Hollywood). That is before you consider Brandon Hines who gives us “I just wrote on a show and I can’t eat, I rely on government assistance.” A series writer on government assistance? And you wonder why the writing guild is angry? Now there is another side, there are so many shows pushed out at present that I feel that something will have to give. A place like Netflix alone is allegedly spending $17,000,000,000 for content in 2024. I have no idea what the drill down is and it is likely too complex, yet I expect that writers are undervalued there as well. So what happens when the cream of the crop vacates to Canada or the UK (or Australia)? You can scream all you like, but these people seemingly have had enough and puts the pressure in other places too. All these TV hosts that suddenly cannot sound funny anymore. All these hosts that have nothing on the tele-prompter when that takes a front seat the Hollywood economy will take a dive whilst they rely on second or third class writers. So what happens to the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024) when it relies on writing students scripting the day away? What happens when an expected revenue of this movie ($1.7B) makes no more than $850M? I can tell you that the investors will take a run towards Canada and the UK, optionally Australia as well.

You tell me what the gain of greed is, because as I see it there is absolutely no positive side to that, but wait until May 8th 2023 and see shows (movies too) getting cancelled. All this was a simple application of Business Intelligence, an abacus was enough to set the parameters of this folly. The weird part is that we see “Hollywood’s business model has been completely disrupted by streaming”, they had years to correct for that and I would reckon that a revue savvy place like Hollywood would have their own regiment of BI people all over the place. So what did I see that THEY ignored, you tell me because I am at a loss.

A weird choice of thoughts

I have them at times, not merely during the daytime, at times the ones at night are even weirder. I was in what I think was a Google location. It was extremely sunny and warm, as such I think I might have been in California. I was in the foyer of a building, it was open and spacious. Almost like a circle, there was a circle in the centre where receptionists were working and assisting people. Around me were windows, they had a lower part and an upper part. The lower part was about 80% of the height of the room, the upper part was about 20%. The upper parts were different, they had stained windows, each window had a Google logo in stained glass style, the logo was surrounded by milky white glass. It had an interesting effect on the foyer, the foyer was bathing in colours. Each logo was adding colours to the room, one part was a little less bright, this logo was not surrounded by milky white glass, but by black glass, it was the Stadia logo. As I looked around the foyer I saw the Drive logo, the YouTube logo, the cloud logo, mail logo, calendar logo and several more. I started looking at the people and they all looked stressed, they looked worried, but I could not see a reason. The circle only had 2 of the 5 computers switched on. I started to walk around and I walked up the staircase. People looked frantic they were talking, but they were also looking though papers. I saw in one hall that only one row of computers was switched on. The conference rooms were empty, TV’s were not switched on, the coffee corner had its coolers switched off, or so it looked. There were people all around but it was a population of less than 10% of what was made room for. 

As I walked around I saw more and more people nervous, some scared but not of each other. It seemed to me that there was a massive shortage of electricity, an energy crises unlike any one I had ever seen. I had seen the energy issues on Crete, but it was a minor issue, this was a lot worse and a lot more intense. I could not feel the het, but everyone around me was sweating. The rooms had a distinct Google feeling like I had seen them in Sydney. I looked outside but I saw no ocean, perhaps the angle was wrong. On the other side I saw high rises nearby, at least a dozen buildings. Not sure where I was and for some reason I could not any of the conversations. It was almost like they were talking alien, or I was not hearing correctly, but there conversations were not meant for me, or I was not part of that side, I was merely there to see, to watch and to observe. People were massively underdressed, dressed like they knew it was a 40C degrees day, thin flimsy and mostly covering their bodies in this both men and women had taken heed of slight covering is better than melting away, and with the obvious lack of cold drinks they were relying on water, or so it seemed to me. This is nearly all I saw, I merely heard the words ‘That’s enough’, the only two words I heard in the entire dream. Was someone showing me what will be? It was only a dream and I have no idea why I saw this. I had seen data all over the place, but is this the setting the US will face in the near future? Places that cannot continue because the energy crises is overwhelming places? I have no idea, for me it was merely a dream, but one that felt uneasy, it lacked the comfort I usually have in a dream. A setting where a government due to inaction needs to find a new path, a new approach to satisfy the need of corporations and they all need energy a setting we saw for years but the greed driven were telling everyone that there would be enough time, there would be options. It seems that this setting has been passed and passed without activity. I wonder what will come next and as I am trying to make a tally, Texas, California and New York will need at least two, two and one nuclear reactor to keep on par with the energy requirements, the alternatives will not roll out in time and these reactors would not be build in time either. Yet as I consider that part, I realise that the EU and UK are in similar settings. They have a lack of energy resources and the shortage gap is merely increasing.

It was a weird choice of thoughts to have, but I think it has been fuelled by the decrease of oil, the numbers and numerous tables and charts I was looking at and I think my subconscious filled in the blanks through a story. And it is about to get worse for these places, summer is coming and that implies millions of AC units draining energy from June onwards. In this Texas and California are the strongest places, but New York is another place. The New York Times gave us 11 hours ago “The high cost of natural gas and electricity is prompting many to prepare for outages and shortages.” Yet personally I feel that it is not only the price of electricity, I feel that there will be an actual shortage and in that setting, for the warmer summer states late July through to mid September will be challenge to say the least. In California and Florida, those with theme parks will have their own set of problems and a lack of electricity will be the smallest of issues. A stage that would come, but now it comes sooner and even my dreams have no answers. In part because I cannot tell when the shortages hit, in part because I know very little of the energy solutions that nations have, it is not my expertise, but I do realise that energy can be seen in what is available and what is used and that is a simple tabular setting and as such I understand the shortages that several will face in a summer state in the northern hemisphere and as such when that happens a lot will happen and it will happen all over Asia too.

That awesome moment

These moments happen to us all, some we see the moment we see them, some we see after a while when things sink in and there is a third option, but we need not think of that. This afternoon I was confronted with the first one by no one else by Arnold Schwarzenegger. That terminator, the Governator and he became so much more over time to so many of us. The man is a legend in his own time, optionally one of the most amazing governors in the history of the USA. And a lot of these actions were done before and after he was governor of California. To call him an actor is like referring to a Rolls Royce, a Bugatti, a Ferrari, a Aston Martin or a Bentley as a simple automobile. Some things cannot be defined, cannot be dimensionalised and we are all good with that, some exceptions break the consideration of any shape. We all get that (if not you need to brush up on things). 

So it all started with a Tweet (at https://t.co/P0VCDqPeb6) there we see the governator, slightly posh with all that silver in his beard. He gives us an interesting approach to stop hate, it takes 12 minutes and listening will be the best 12 minutes of this month, no exceptions (unless you got lucky with Laura Vandervoort). He talks about giving into hate and it was amazing. The man is so eloquent that he should be the US ambassador to the United Nations. Let me emphasise here that this is no reflection on Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield. I do not know her and I mean no disrespect to her. When you hear the words of Arnold they will hit you deep, much deeper than you think and that is the effect of a person like this. This is why he is so rare and legendary unique. 

So my Monday involved an amazing moment that I never saw coming. I do not give into hate, but the reminder that not doing so is not the easy path felt good, very good. You see, I had been noticing Islamaphobia to the larger extent in the US, Europe, and commonwealth nations. It is higher now then it was during the first crusades in 1095 and that is saying something. We were actively trying to kill one another. Christians as invaders and Muslims as defenders, all due to Pope Urban II and his posse of greed driven exploiters. Something needed to be done and I created IP for that approach. The fact that it impacts Facebook, Google and optionally Amazon is merely a side effect. For me that video was in part learning, in part confirming that I was right all along and in part in awe as I saw yet another side of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Even as he focusses on anti-semitism he actually addresses all kinds of hate and he does it well. So watch and learn, optionally a lot. Those 12 minutes were truly an awesome moment.

Mirror mirror on the wall

This continues from ‘Me, myself and I make 4’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2023/01/12/me-myself-and-i-make-4/) a week ago. In the mean time. I decided on a name for this. The series is called ‘Engonos’ which is Greek for grandson. Last week it all ended with a meeting in Athens with Lord Zeus himself and the crazy notion that I left with him. It is time to mull that over. 

Over the next few days I travelled back to France, then to America to the mansion. I had to take these trips to gather my thoughts and moving with a starting point from a place where no one watches you is always better then from a place where everyone seems to notice most of your moves. I still had not teleported for two reasons. One this is something that requires skill and energy and that is easily restored in Tartarus, the second part is that Lord Hades needed an update of all that I had started. It is not something that was done lightly and there were still pawn on the board, or better stated there were pieces that were on the board and I made them pawns because their value were still undetermined. It is not the sam, it is not the best thing to do but it was how my mind worked. There were still a few things to sort out and Asclepius was not the first thing to sort out. There were issues and it was time to take another look at the Lamp of Helios, it was an idea, but I would have to master it a lot better and I know just the place where to test it a bit better. The first thing I did was return to Crete, to the place that could take me to Lord Hades, or grandad for short. I was about to start the arrangements when I noticed a small in the house. It was not a normal smell and it seemed stronger upstairs. I saw the staff looking disinterested, working on whatever they were doing and they were doing it well, the house was spotless. I followed the smell only to see that there was a new door in my room, the door was always there, and this door looked the same, but was not the same. I slowly touched the door with my fingers. The door looked like wood, but had the feel of ironwood. The hinges also looked a lot stronger and heavier. I opened the door, the bathroom was the same with one difference. The mirror on the right wall was new, It was some brass like frame with a slightly larger body sized mirror. It was a little over two meters high, it was around 120 centimetres wide and started about to inches of the floor. The mirror had a brass type shine. It was pretty but nothing I would ever want in a bathroom.  The smell was a little stronger here. I shifted focus and the mirror was not entirely what it seemed. It phased and I saw the makings of a marble room. I fitted my hand into the mirror and let the rest of me follow. I was suddenly in a marble room, I looked out and I recognised the place immediately. It was a room in the palace of Lord Hades. I walked in and summoned my bident. I walked around and soon found the stairs down and into the reception area. A shade bowed to me and gestured towards the left. I gestured Psychofagos away and went there. Lord Hades looked at me. You found the mirror? Yes, thank you lord. I bowed  to him with respect and every fibre of my being bowed in respect to him. I just met with Lord Zeus in Athens. I gave him the entire rundown on the meeting. Lord Hades looked at me. Why would I forgo my biggest source of energy? Because soon there is nothing left and then we end up being in a place that is dead, no life, nothing reborn and nothing restored. Even now we will end with less because so much life is now extinct. Restoring ill not bring them back, but we can return to a better place. Over time Lord Zeus will return most of his powers as his powers is the clean sky. Lord Poseidon will lose the most as so much life is gone from there and much of it cannot be saved. It is too late for that. But you my lord you will gain the most. Even as much of life will be removed, their life source will be yours. And we will return to healthier times and they will also feed you, but we need to act and we need to act larger than before. Can we replicate the machines without Heaphestus? Hades looked at me. Yes, they will be smaller, but they can be made. How many do you need? How many can you make? We need at least 999 more, especially if they are smaller and they need to be added to the system, we have a good engine, but we need a massive tank, the energy of almost 8 billion souls will be added. Even then we need to use a large part to reinvigorate you. You are being recharged, now we need to focus on restoring your younger self my lord.

Hades looked and nodded. You have done well Hades said. There is one more thing. Lord Zeus gave me the power of teleportation, it has been added to my bident. Hades held his hand up and I instantly knew what he meant. I summoned psychofagos and handed it to Hades. He stared at it. You need to practise this thing and be aware, whenever you teleport Zeus will instantly know where you came from and where you go to. I nodded, I was certain that there was a snag and this was it. Anything else? Hades seemed in thought, it seems that your state of mind will be visible to him for a moment. He does not accept duplicity, the mirror will help but if you teleport right after that, whatever you had in mind will be visible to him. I nodded. It changed a few things not too much, but I had to be careful. It also meant that I needed another way to get to Crete. Hades picked up on that. There is another mirror, one in Iraklion in the museum. They hung it as a mirror for the people. It is easy to get in and out of the museum. The other part of that mirror is over there and he pointed to a far wall. The passing is easy and anyone seeing you will instantly forget it, in the sphere of the mirror you are invisible for a short time as you move between realms. It is no more than 5 seconds, so doing this in the evening is the best. There is no camera there and you can go through the small window, you are on the 3rd floor, next to a window, but it is the roof access you need, you can easily get to anywhere from there. 

I bowed and was about to walk away. Engonos, be weary of Asclepius. He will not accept your actions, he will try to stop you or make sure that you fail. I nodded. I had expected this. Asclepius reverence of life was almost legendary millennia ago, even now as people cause the death of so much, he would not act against them, not sure why but I had an alternative to consider. One that wasn’t the easiest, that was until the present of Lord Zeus came by. 

I moved towards my room but then thought against it. It was morning in California, meaning it was  early to mid evening in Greece. I walked to the mirror and stared at it. The museum came into view, it was empty and the window showed a streetlight, implying that the streets were already dark. I walked through the mirror, listening sharply for sounds. I heard clinging of keys, about 15 metres away. I looked around and saw the window, then I looked up and saw nothing. I slowly silently moved into the next room, there was a hatch there but it seemed locked. I moved back and stared, suddenly like the cave in Gladesville an open hatch appeared I jumped through and the ceiling turned back to solid ceiling. I walked silently over the roof, seeing the camera’s. They were all pointing towards the street, the building next to it also had camera’s, but I was out of their view at the moment. I saw a clean path out of their view and I jumped up the attached building. From there I could go anywhere and I slowly glided to the street that was empty and from there I went to the nearest decent Hotel I could find and booked a room. Tomorrow I would o more, now I would lay down on a bed and think things over I needed to make sure that I had all the elements clean and at hand, this was a one way trip and missing too many elements would cause too many other problems. The idea was still shaping, but I suddenly realised that mankind had a delete function, one that I was about to use for my own purpose. I merely had to push the right sanctimonious religious nut and this world had plenty of those, they were almost everywhere.

Inactivity by the overpaid

The Dutch NOS is opening a storm-gate with the article (at https://nos.nl/l/2459559) stating that there will be a power shortage by 2030. Personally I think that he is overly optimistic. I would reckon that clear shortages will be visible no later than 2027 in the Netherlands. The UK will start showing these shortages no later than Q3 2024 and there are several nations in that same setting. The US was already showing them last year, not to a large degree, but enough to get noticed in California and Texas. It will get worse soon enough. I reckon that it will be horrid to live in these places the coming summer. With millions of AC units draining whatever power there is, the stage for these two places will not be a joyous one. I stated that danger in ‘Time as a factor’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2022/05/15/time-as-a-factor/) in may last year and several other articles over the two years preceding that. There was (optionally is) a solution and for that they all needed Elon Musk, but governments are not that intelligent. Instead of catering to Elon Musk, they catered to his anger and now the solution will come at premium price. His battery would have been able to decrease the pressure by well over 10%-20% in 2018 when I first made mention of it. But the overpaid civil servants kept on being inactive and that saving is now lost to them. 

There still is an option for several places, but it will take immediate action, places like Texas and California, as well as the UK, France and Italy will have to act NOW to get something done, because Elon is not storing these batteries and when they have to produce 15-35 million batteries, they can sell at a premium but that will set you back so many billions, that the loss of Twitter is nothing more than a little blip on the radar. And there was a solution, but you all had to make fun of him, cater to fake news and cater to BS settings all whilst Jack Dorsey was given a ‘do not touch’ voucher. So how much can Jack Dorsey add? I’ll tell you nothing and now that you need Elon Musk, what will you do? Bully him a bit more? Consider that when these batteries go to India, Saudi Arabia, UAE and a few other places BEFORE they go to Texas and California. And when you realise that a place like Texas will need close to 1,000,000 Power walls at $17,000 each, the math becomes increasingly easy and it might not be enough. In that California would need in access of 3,000,000 walls. And that is before the added wind and solar collectors are added. One simple setting to overcome the loss of Twitter. And lets be clear, he has no obligation to any of you. He can charge premium prices, it is HIS right to do so. Sucks to be you now, does it not?

And in that setting Texans might still forgo power for 16% of the day when they need power for their AC, a stage that was clear in play since BEFORE 2018. All this before some might realise that a place like London will need well over 1,000,000 power-walls. The numbers start adding up and Tesla has the IP everyone needs. So how will you cater to that? Like a bully or will you realise that some people were overpaid by a fair amount and they did NOTHING. If I saw this almost 5 years ago, they should have been on that hobby horse a lot longer, but they were not. Why was that? 

And the shortage will get worse for the UK soon enough. You see, Sweden (Vattenfal) is already showing shortages for winter, as such less and less can be delivered to the UK who will now feel the brunt a lot sooner and the solution I offered in ‘Will you feel frisky?’ On June 28th 2022  (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2022/06/28/will-you-feel-frisky/) now feels a lot more on point, does it not? So how many documents can the UK produce of efforts they made from 2018 onwards to cater to this need? And that is the setting now, but this pressure keeps on growing, so the worm that hesitates will get eaten in this setting, because the shortage is global and now that the pressures are showing will some ask, why did we do nothing? People have been BS’ing on power independence since the 90’s and when the moment comes, we see inaction. Don’t take my word, check and you will see I am right. The overpaid were inactive for far too long, let them explain why. Oh, and they come with something like ‘It was a complex issue’ feel free to dock their pay for over 40%, it was why they were there and even if that doesn’t solve the issue, it will feel good to see the worm squirm for his lost 40%. Do it, you’ll see you’ll feel better.

The other foot

A thought occurred, it happened earlier today, but my mind was not with the program that runs within me. You see we have a foot we prefer, almost like left handed and right handed, but the foot is less obvious, it is merely in the back of our minds, perhaps it is linked to instinct, perhaps it is less than that, but the setting exists. Yet what happens after? You see we are so of the mind that we walk we do that, and sometimes we run. Then we meet with people who tells us not to run, but to walk. Some have an actual concern. It can be safety, or merely the chance of danger. The other group gives us that setting do that we can be caught up to, we do not run faster than they do, it worries them. 

Yet there is another place. Where we rely on asymmetric gait, it is skipping. The interesting part is that skipping, even for 1-2 minutes a day strengthens you and increases your accuracy. Yet be honest. When was the last time you did that exercise? When do you no longer need to rely on increased strength and accuracy? You thought of that as a child’s game, did you not? 

The other foot is there too. What happens when you start concentrating on moving the other foot first? It is a simple question, did you ask yourself that? What happens when people state that there is no need, you are good as you walk and for a while you suddenly get compliments. Did you consider that someone does NOT want you to increase your mobility? In the 90’s my bosses did something similar. Convince me to NOT learn Oracle. It did not sit well with their exploitation of me, yet I did not learn that lesson until much later, too late actually. Yet in my twilight I have merely a few goals. Sell my IP and get a really nice stake in my retirement. And in good faith those who wronged me will never be allowed near my IP (Microsoft is not invited either). 

Yet the stage is not my IP, this stage is about you. When were you given a real option in the last two years? You see bosses are now no longer in charge (sort of). It is an employee setting and for the most they cannot get a good employee at present. EVERYONE is short of staff. As such this is the time to slam your fist on the table and set precise goals that they have to adhere to, although if you do that, you better deliver on their needs too. 

The AFR (at https://www.afr.com/policy/economy/why-we-don-t-have-enough-workers-to-fill-jobs-in-4-graphs-20220621-p5avcc) gives us in a first graph that the shortage increased by 30% in the last 2 years alone and it is not merely the ageing group. Bosses have short sold their staff for over a decade and now the invoice is due. In the blue collar stage it fluctuates between 20% and a whopping 74%. As such businesses on a global scale have a problem. Fortunately for them they have some options in other fields. Instead of relying on ‘Fake it until you make it’ they need to rely on ‘learn it until you lead it’ and there could be options all over the Commonwealth, Europe and even the US. Places like Oracle can start hiring trainees and after their first courses are passed they can be placed at their customers. Rotating every 6 month until someone ‘Shanghai’ them to become permanent employees. And this is not merely Oracle. There is Oracle, IBM, Alibaba Cloud, Amazon Web Services, end a few others.

The HR departments on a global scale need to alter their Modus Operandi it no longer works the way they think it does. The old days are over and you either adjust or you restrict your business. Of course players like Oracle need an alternative workforce, but there Universities and experienced oldies might be two streams of getting the workforce enabled. In addition they have the ability to enhance cyber knowledge all over the field making their people more enticing than the other ones. There the AFR had another view (at https://www.afr.com/technology/skills-shortage-a-handbrake-for-technology-companies-20220503-p5ai8r) and here we see ‘Skills shortage a ‘handbrake’ for technology companies’ which is merely the top-line. It is “The Australian Information Industry Association’s annual member survey found 75 per cent of technology companies are expecting their revenue to grow by at least 5 per cent this year but are concerned skills shortages will be a barrier to expanding their business.” And that is merely Australia. The commonwealth (especially UK and Canada) have growing issues and the US is in deep trouble and with their approach to everything it is now becoming the least interesting place to work. Plenty of California places (as well as the large players) have an option to syphon services via Canada, which is not a great solution, but better than nothing. In addition we see “AIIA chief executive Ron Gauci says his members are looking offshore to find specialist tech talent” and there we see the first problem, they rely on HR systems that did not evolve, that did not adjust and I see the same BS emails in my inbox to prove it, all half baked ‘invitations’ to come to Malta, they even pay the first month rent. Moving to a place where ‘others’ call the shots? You have got to be joking. When you are young and in the workplace we had 7 years ago, some people might give that a try. In todays setting it does not hold water and that is also a problem in Australia, the people who fell for that approach the last 6-10 years ago now have different stories and their friends are giving it a miss. But some places have options. They merely have to wake up and look at the equation from the other side to see that opportunities and options are there, merely for those willing to throw the gears in another speed setting and start with the other foot, it is seemingly that simple.

MHW anyone?

Yes, it seems puzzling, but it is not. I have seen in the last 48 hours more than anyones share of hatred, the Musk Hatred Wave and I absolutely have had enough of this collaborated pile of bullshit. It is time to set the record straight. The first guilty party is the Media, these cocksucking stakeholder appeasing bunch of wannabe journo’s. Almost no one is asking serious questions towards Jack Dorsey and the hidden accounts of fake followers. Can someone please nail this joker to a bloody cross please? It is getting close to Christmas, so that solves one part. The Guardian goes on (t https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2022/nov/05/twitter-elon-musk-jack-dorsey-apology) by catering to all this with “I own the responsibility for why everyone is in this situation – I grew the company too quickly” as I personally see it when Elon Musk is forced to deal with “apologise for the state of the site, which has laid off thousands of workers” when the new person has to lay off thousands of people, you weren’t growing the company to quickly, you were orchestrating a stage and still the media is not asking the questions they should have asked for months. So when we get to see “At least one class-action lawsuit has been filed against Twitter on behalf of former employees who say they were not given adequate notice of their termination.” I need to wonder if this is actually the case, Elon Musk stated on Titter that these people were given TWICE the redundancy that a person is eligible for. I cannot state if that was indeed true, but the media gives us “Elon Musk has a history of violating California’s labor law” loading the stage against Elon Musk yet again. And true, a little later we see “Musk has defended the layoffs, tweeting that fired employees are receiving three months of severance as the company reportedly loses over $4m a day.” Another clear stage that gives us that someone needs to ask Jack Dorsey serious questions, but he is off with billions, so he will not care about any of this. It merely shows how useless the media has become. 

Then we see more and more hatred on Twitter with quotes like Justice giving us that Free Speech should not cost $8 month. 

My answer would be:

“No Moron he is not charging $8 for free speech, he is planning to charge the blue checkmark. The sign that you are a real account. A sort of elite status that too many people enjoyed for the longest of times. The new owner states that this elite status comes at a price and most of them will do the math $96 a year or lose the mark. Plenty of those can hand that invoice as an expense to their TAX LAWYER.” 

Then we get loads of people stating they lost hundreds or thousands of followers. I am merely adding one example but there are legions out there. 

The question becomes were they really followers or are certain bots vacating the space in fear of exposure? In one week Musk cannot push for such larger changes to a working system with all these people losing their jobs. We could argue that some Twitter employees had scripts that fattened the accounts of their idols. I am not stating this happened, I am wondering if this could have been the case. And yes there are plenty of people whose hatred made them leave Twitter, that is their choice, but those followers stopped being followers too. There are many options, but we need data to prove or disprove some of these assumptions (read: presumptions).

The largest issue is the mass firing. The issues is not whether this is happening, but if proper procession is used. That is a case for California labour laws, I know too little about these, but considering the Jack Dorsey ‘apology’, I am willing to speculate that everything was done to give Elon Musk a stacked hand against him and with the media being as biased as it seems to be, when it comes to discrimination and a few other elements the media is every bit as guilty here. That is how I see it. When you get over the feigned anger, what are your thoughts?

Knowledge is nothing

It was several weeks later, I was still in the mansion in Belle Air, security was tight. There were 3 events and security took care of it. The second one was shouting about the rights of the press, but the Myrmidon Protectors took care of it and I was doubtful if that man would ever try to drop in again. There was an event with a drone, but it was clear that they had dealt with that too. They used some kind of a bazooka net with winch. The drone was captured ripped asunder and the camera was utterly destroyed. What was left had been thrown away. For me it was a different setting. It stated with a night of sex and that continued for 75 hours. I thought that I was done after 48 hours, I had coitused the hell out of Lachesis, but she merely smiled and teased me with ‘Is the little boy tired?’ That got to me and I renewed the effort with a lot more sex. And after 75 hours I still was not tired, which was weird. I was no virgin and the women were definitely not complaining, but I never considered myself ‘thrust-hound of the century’ I was above average and that was about it, but now, now there was no stopping me, never tiring and never flaccid. I had come well over a dozen times and still Lachesis was ready for more. Well that was a bit of a game changer, the tiring part was part of the bliss and it was gone. After I came again I stopped and walked to the window. She looked at me and she was not smiling. “I learned a few things. We need to talk over breakfast” I looked at her and nodded. I walked out in a bathrobe I saw Patrick. “Breakfast on the terrace in 15 minutes please” he nodded and walked off. I had a shower in the master bedroom and got dressed. I walked to the terrace and breakfast was being placed, a large breakfast with all kinds of goods, some I had not seen before. Lachesis arrived a minute later and looked at the table and sat down. Coffee, tea and orange juice was served “Leave us” she said and the servants walked away. I sat down.

Thee are also more changes. You are near impossible to be killed like most Olympians, but that also means that you need to keep control of anger and other feelings, they are still mortal in foundation and you could destroy an army single handedly, but that would put you on the radar of the wrong people. “What can I do?” I asked. Well for now, here is safe. You are away from people and in the next month or so you will have more control. You were never a people person and that works for you, but their emotions will more easily grab you. You were mortal for a long time. You still are mortal, you are just really hard to kill at present. You should not walk into an active volcano, but beyond that you can survive pretty much anything. 

But there is a new test coming. Not yet, the exact time is not known, but it will be in the near future. This is a different fight and you need to understand what happened. Long ago Oceanus and Poseidon had a fallout. Oceanus who remained neutral in the titan war was left alone, but something happened and set off the feud between Oceanus and Poseidon, it came to blows and at the bottom of the ocean these two had a battle, Poseidon lost and was imprisoned at the bottom of the ocean, now the oceans need protection Poseidon is not there to protect the seas, Oceanus was never one for protection and they are unaware of the damage here. Their feud is still going on and Poseidon is kept in his prison on the ocean floor. We do not know how it is done, as the water is the realm of Poseidon, but Oceanus is equally master of the seas and much stronger. So we need to end this but we do not know how it is ended, this is where you come in. This will not be a fight, it will be more diplomacy with a difference. This is a task you must think your way out of, it might be the only way to do it. They are at the bottom of the ocean somewhere in the Atacama Trench that is as much as we know. It is 8135 meters deep, it is 5,900 km long and 64 km wide, so good luck finding them there. You should be able to get there as you are close to invulnerable, but do not get arrogant. These two are masters there and either could attack you, we know nothing of the prison what it looks like and how it stops Poseidon. All things that could be an issue, as it can stop Poseidon it could possibly kill you, so be careful. We have no idea what you will face there and running in now is folly. The sapphire will give you some powers over water, but at the depth you will be at, we will not know how effective it will be, we will take the boat and go towards Guam and the The Challenger Deep. It will be 11000 meters deep, so a good point to see how deep you can go, if you can get to the floor there, you should be OK in the Atacama Trench. I looked at her and wondered what he could do. It is another test and one that was weird to say the least. I never much liked water. I had nothing against it, but I felt some natural dislike of water, other than a bathtub or a shower that was. I never really enjoyed a swimming pool, although a hot tub was at times relaxing and nice. 

But that was for another day. For now he would consider what his options were and left the table for the study, watch some TV, brood on what this all was, because I had the distinct feeling that this was more than a test and Lachesis wasn’t telling him everything, but the problems was not what she was telling me, it was what she wasn’t telling me and that part was worrisome on more than one level.
