What adults?

That was the setting I had yesterday. I didn’t act on it as I had other thoughts on my mind. Yet when it passed my eyes again this morning, something just clicked. It set of a few thoughts in my mind as the reporter from Arab News a Mr. Faisal Abbas gave me (at https://www.arabnews.com/node/2604732) ‘Iran vs. Israel: Adults in the room need to act quickly’, and my initial thought was “Is he for real? Are there adults in Iran?” You see, for the longest time Iran is like the raging (read: petulant) child who wants to be in charge and Iran just isn’t ready. They have hidden their acts (to remain in denial) behind Houthi forces, Hamas forces and Hezbollah forces. The three H’s of evil as I would presume. That setting went a lot more will in 2016 after starting on 2004 (21 years ago). In 2016 Houthi forces struck into Saudi Arabia, with 2017 attacking King Khalid International Airport. Iran had been busy using Houthi terrorists attacking civilian targets in Saudi Arabia. Colonel Turki Al-Maliki showed the world plenty of evidence, but the western press was eager to ignore it, all whilst media attack after attack was done on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, all whilst ignoring the real world around them. Last month we were given ‘Hamas document shows Oct. 7 attack aimed at derailing Saudi normalization’ (source: Times of Israel) and as a source gives us “In the years 1987–89 the party launched attacks against official Saudi targets inside and outside Saudi Arabia. After being implicated in the Khobar Towers Bombing in 1996, the party was outlawed in Saudi Arabia. The party was part of the Iranian government’s “exporting the Islamic revolution” policy.” This is all due to involvement of Iran and we were given that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would consider having nuclear weapons when the evidence is given that Iran has them. It clearly shows that there would be one adult and it is not Iran.

So as Israel has had enough of Iran playing the crying child, they are adamant that Iran should not have any nuclear weapons and now the new stage of an escalating war on the Arabian peninsula should be avoided. 

So, as Arab News gives us “Saudi Arabia has taken swift action, demonstrating its commitment to regional peace through intense diplomatic engagement. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has personally communicated with leaders around the world, emphasizing the urgent need to de-escalate tensions and unify international efforts to prevent further violence. Riyadh recognizes that unchecked military confrontation will not only destabilize nations but also hinder progress, development and the fight against violent extremism.” Faisal Abbas forgets to mention that Iran has to be stopped and as he is seemingly unwilling to do this, Israel has another frame of minds. You see, the moment that Iran has a nuclear weapon, it will be deployed to Israel making peace not longer an option and the timing of that moment merely takes an egg timer from completing the weapon until it is released from a deniable source by one of the three H’s (to be in denial whilst the blame is shifted to a member of the IRGC who will then spend the rest of his live in a palace being revered by all Israeli hating muslims) Did I make that to simple?

I get the response we see in “The Kingdom has unequivocally condemned the attack on Iran and the violation of its sovereignty, denouncing it as a clear breach of international laws. However, Saudi Arabia understands that words alone are insufficient. Proactive measures must be taken to prevent the situation from deteriorating further. Riyadh is rallying diplomatic channels to reduce tensions, working to ensure that strategic decisions prioritize stability over reckless militarization.” Iran is after all a Muslim nation, I get that and siding with Israel is as I see it not done by any Muslim nation, but their is a setting that they have had enough of Iran, so I am speculating that in many Saudi houses a glass is raised not in support of Israel but in the ‘accidental’ downfall of Iran. As I see it, the larger failing is that Iran gets mentioned four times, including under the photo that shows the impact of a location in Haifa. 

And in all this America didn’t do too much in stopping Iran either. See, speaking words do not hold the bacon (as the expression goes). And the actions of Iran has been a clear setting that acts were inbound on Tehran from the many transgressions that Iran had undertaken in the last 20 years alone. And in the last hour we were given that “this is the dirty work Israel is doing for all of us, words from German Chancellor Friedrich Merz”whilst two minutes ago the Washington Post gives us “Trump demands Iran’s ‘unconditional surrender’ as strikes continue” things are escalating all over the place all whilst the world seemingly has had enough of that petulant child called Iran. And as most of the world believes that Iran getting nuclear weapons is one tantrum too many and I tend to agree because it puts both Israel and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in harms way. Consider that “On 27 October 2016, a Yemeni Houthi ballistic missile known as Burkan-1 was launched towards Makkah City. The missile was intercepted and destroyed by Saudi ground forces 65 kilometers from the city. A similar attack by the Houthis was carried out on a Saudi Airbase in Taif on 10 October.” I personally wonder if there is any evidence that Iran supplied the hardware for an attack on Makkah, but I have little doubt that it was just as it was seen and that was the point where western media should have clearly stated that Iran is the larger danger to Islam, but did they? Now that Israel has had enough the western media (and Russia) are trying to ‘limit’ involvement. And for Russia it is not good news as this limits the acts it can do on Ukrainian civilian populations and if America does get involved, the options for Iran will fade away really fast (especially their oil reserves) and that might be good news for other oil producing nations. And that is important as only minutes ago I got the news that ‘The Houthis join Iran’s attacks on Israel’, as I see it, it is the escalation no one wanted but we all get the impact of this and no-one is asking how Houthi forces (after waging war for 21 years) where these missiles are coming from. Because there is merely one source where they could have come from (my personal speculation), they are coming from Iran. Can you truly believe that there is any scenario where Iran could be allowed to have nuclear fight capacity? I reckon that it will be in hour one where Iran transports a missile into Iraq and when that thing flies towards Israel and Iran will be in denial claiming it came from Iraq and that is where the egg times comes in as it will hit Israel, near Tel Aviv a mere 20 minutes later. That is what s at stake and Israel is speculatively unwilling to be a nuclear target and that is at stake and we need to realise that Iran shouldn’t be seen as an adult. The setting that a child is given a nuclear pacifier is equally unacceptable. As such when you consider the dangers we all face, that is the larger setting and I was there in 2007 (as an opposer of Iran having any nuclear weapons) when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (as 6th president of Iran) became a larger supporter of nuclear weapons.

That is what is at stake, as such the article is fine, but it is lacking a massive amounts of mentions of Iran having an impossible mindset. And as the Daily Mail (not the greatest source of information) gave us 7 minutes ago that a Iranian government jet had diverted to Oman we are given “Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei threatened an attack on U.S. naval ships and troops if Donald Trump authorizes strikes on its nuclear bunkers” as it seems, Iran is rather scared that this will be met with issues and he feels safer in another country. As such we can assume that he feels happier being the petulant child in another place whilst Iran gets hit with all kinds of attacks. That is not the person who should be allowed to have any kinds of weapons, least of all the nuclear variety.

As I personally see it, the adults are acting, that being said. I feel that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia did nothing wrong, even as they have plenty of reasons to act, the refrained from acting. That too, in many situations is the act of an adult. 

As such the words ‘Adults in the room need to act quickly’ is a little presumptuous. Sometimes it is important for adults not to act. As we wrestle told by Sun Tsu “He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight” words that were given to us 2500 years ago and the second part “when not to fight” is too often ignored. A small part that Faisal Abbas seemingly overlooked.

Droning right along

Yes, this happens. Yet, as I saw the BBC article (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c79ewz7qej4o) where we get ‘From festivals to weddings: Why drone shows are booming’ it was a nice article, yet a little delusionally short sighted. We are given ““All of these drones started rising up,” recalls Mrs Underwood. “It was honestly remarkable, very overwhelming – and incredibly emotional for us.” Around 300 drones appeared in the night sky, displaying lights of various colours, and forming images chosen to represent the bride and groom.” I get the setting, there is nothing wrong with it, but they are telling us a story like it was the beginning of the fourth of July and for the married couple it likely was. Yet the story is lacking a few things, or lets better state that things remain unsaid and in light of a wedding nothing wrong was done. Yet I would like to call your attention to ‘What mattered most’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2019/09/17/what-mattered-most/) where I discuss the alleged Houthi attack on Aramco. I wrote it on September 17th 2019, almost 6 years ago. You see Houthi forces claimed responsibility for the 17 drone attacks (almost simultaneously) on Aramco. I disagreed, there was no way that Houthi forces could have done this. It is not the equipment, it was the piloting skills that they utterly lacked. 

And in that same instance I came up how one pilot could have done it, but it had to be one with extensive drone skills. As such the culprit would have been Iran (a presumption on my side), but other optional choices would have been allies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Pretty much only Iran and Israel remained and Israel would never have been that stupid and with the Iranian links to Houthi forces they remained the only culprit in this setting. 

I came to the setting that there was a speculated second tier of elements in play. You see, it this image is indicative of the dangers, then we could have a new stage in play. To get a near 100% attack setting using 17 drone pilots, might be a larger stretch, I reckon that even America would have a problem doing this, but why have pilots when you have technology? 

Take the image given to us, and consider what unison could achieve and at that point one drone pilot could do this and it would be an innovative step for Iran, but not an impossible one. So as such we get

The drone pilot has a tight formation of 17 drones, when he gets within 800 to 400 meters he issues the deploy signal and the 16 drones sets themself up from the master drone and when the pilot gives the attack signal the 16 drones attack their target whilst the master drone is flown into its target and voila 17 destroyed targets. So when I see “Fireworks have a “boom” factor that drones generally don’t, notes Ms French. However, Bill Ray, an analyst at market research firm Gartner, says that some drones can now launch pyrotechnics, for a firework-like effect. For instance, a stream of sparks raining down from the lower portion of an image created by a group of drones.” I just have to giggle, ‘they can now’ is hilarious and as I see it, drone operations are a lot further along then anyone seemingly realizes. The Aramco attack gives a clear showing that Iran could pretty much lay any airport to rubble, taking that setting and drone forces could stop air traffic in Europe and America at the drop of a hat, any hat. 

And as I see it, whoever has bad intentions could use a dozen drones and stop air traffic instantly and in the image I merely show 11 attack points, the planes fueled up would end the airport in this instance I used Amsterdam international. 10 for the planes and one for the control tower. This is the real dangers we face and I saw this dangerous setting in September 2019, so I reckon that the danger is real. The ‘perfect’ image of a dragon using 10,000 drones is impressive, but link this to vector settings in a drone and merely one attack could destroy the settings for a larger army or army base. As such I see the larger needs for Maser technology to be perfected to fry drones and the dangers they post. It usually stops a drone when its circuitry gets fried. I wonder how far they got that technology up and running. 

Just a mere thought to contain and I reckon that this could be pushed unto drones into anti-drone operations as well.

Solemn Shady Sneaky Sinister Scoundrel (S5)

Yup, that is me and the S5 reference was the reference that NATO has when a person is unhinged (yea, lets call it that). This might be me, I would disagree, but there are plenty of others who would think that. So, at least four times I got to Melvin DARPA. It was a simple setting that I had the goods and seemingly DARPA does not. It was not a setting of pride, it was merely that my creativity brought me to this setting. In the first setting is was a simple approach to making (some of) the harbors of Iran useless. It was my response to the aggressive actions against Saudi Arabia using Houthi forces. The west was not doing anything, so I decided to something about it. As such I came up with a plan and an idea for a stealth submersible with a delivery system to make several Iranian harbors useless for some time like several months. Then there was the idea of making the Russian build nuclear reactors melt down (still a few kinks that need resolving as I am not a nuclear physicist, but there is no stopping creativity. This also enabled me to create two civil designs (piranha valve and hornet valve), so basically it is 6 times on DARPA (there was a painting solution as well). Now I basically get to Melvin the NSA. This is not a stance of pride these are not the people who are responsible for level 8 TCP/IP issues (user level problems). They know their stuff and they tend to be deep into the level 1 setting. But I just had an idea, which is set to layer one and it came about as I was setting a different issue (a script issue) and that was when this solution came to mind. Not sure if it could be done, but if so there is a larger setting that could enable mapping troll farms and even the tracks that they employ. Not sure about some of this, but if enabled a new mapping setting could be staged and that is where the fun begins. The people employing that solution could carpet the system and could optionally see where criminals and the media interact. I don’t think that is as simple as I state it to be, but as Jafar (from Aladdin) states ‘the idea has merit’ (or as I usually say, when in doubt stick to the classics). 

Would it work? Not sure, but the implications could be infested in mobiles, tablets, basically any system that has a camera. 

It might not be as much fun as melting down a nuclear reactor, but the results could be nearly as devastating, and we wouldn’t have to revert to explodable pagers (nicely done Mossad). This gets me to almost a second solution, lets first work out the first issue and then progress to the second one. 

This is a nice setting for me as it pushed my creativity to the top of mind issues and the is where I get to create in several directions. The intelligence part makes me shady, the melting down of reactors makes me sinister, the fact that I came to the aid of Saudi Arabia makes me solemn and the fact that it involves stealth makes me sneaky and the optional act against Russian hardware makes me a scoundrel. All 5 at the fingertip and does that make me unhinged? I will let you decide and that is where I am on this Sunday evening, a mere 10 hours from Monday morning breakfast. All in a days contemplation. As Monty Python would say: ‘And now for something completely different’ but I don’t want to do that. The Ukraine can use all the help they can get and as such the idea of melting down some of the Russian reactors has merit. I calculate a mere 3-4 reacts out of the 47 they allegedly have is enough to put Leningrad, Moscow and Vladivostok in darkness giving them a serious setting of problems their armies are already scattered over the winds (with a serious dent in their hardware and logistics) and as I see it, should their energy systems get the boot, then they are heading for one really cold winter. You see, not many lives lost, but the more alive, the quicker their energy systems will be completely depleted, which might be worse for them.

As such I remain humbly and sneaky (and deprived of coffee). Have a great day this weekend.

A marker was reached

On the second of December 2024 (one of several) mentions for the eradication of Hamas (among others) was called by me, I did so in the story ‘When it rains it pours’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2024/12/02/when-it-rains-it-pours-2/) there I put “Saudi Arabia has been under attack through Iranian proxies for too long and as such the three terrorist organizations Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthi their eradication becomes a near essential.” IU don’t do this lightly. At some point Iran will set the stage of their ‘wanted’ assistance, all for the greater good of Shia muslims everywhere and they will strike against Saudi Arabia and the UAE. All for a bigger seat at the Muslim table. Iran will go for that at their earliest convenience (read : tactical opportunity) and I reckon that Hamas will be the first to ‘approve’ the action. I was under the impression that this stage was going to happen, but Saudi Arabia and the UAE might wait for too long to take affirmative actions. That was until today. Today, mostly via LinkedIn I saw the news that we see below:

Here we are shown “What we saw today in Gaza is a disgrace to Islam, an act of blasphemy against Allah.” and a source gave us “Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti makes shocking statement against Hamas” in this we are talking about Grand Mufti Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh. He was appointed in June 1999, serving islam most of his life and was appointed to a seat of leadership as early as 1969. We can therefor clearly see that he knows all levels of Islam (as I personally see this) and for a person like this to speak out against the acts of Hamas is a first sign that the days of Hamas are numbered. You see, they cannot hide behind islam with their hatred of jews to such a degree that clear sounds come from one of the most conservative Islam places for those people to speak out against Hamas. I might not phrase it in the best ways, but as I see it Hamas is about to take a dive for their own mass hatred. When other Islamic clerics follow the words of Grand Mufti Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh, Gaza’s and Hamas will only be able to rely on the scraps that Iran will give them and they have problems of their own now. As I see it the pro Gaza rallies everywhere will dry up and those who rallied for Gaza will have to investigate their own souls and face their own anti-semitic side of things. 

I got the initial setting from Mr. Noor Dahri, he is the Founder and Executive Director of Islamic Theology of Counter Terrorism – ITCT, a UK based Counter Islamist Terrorism Think Tank. He is an independent researcher in Counter Islamist Terrorism and Radicalisation. And it is important that we see this, there is a larger context in the acts of Hamas, especially as even islamics are opposing their action. When the dust settles Hamas will have but one recourse, to let go all the Jewish captives they still have and when the second hurdle is passed and optionally the bulk will have been killed there are two settings. The first is that Israel will go insane with rage (which is really bad for all Gaza) and the more important side is that Islam kill turn against Hamas, making them useless to say the least. 

But beyond what could be and what is, is the clear voice of Grand Mufti Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh who gave us “What we saw today in Gaza is a disgrace to Islam, an act of blasphemy against Allah.” The one voice of reason that all people could and themselves behind. Muslims, Christians and Jews. It might be the first time a setting like this happens and recognizing this is essential. Even for a simple blogger like me. We can all hide behind populistic hate and numbers in a blog, but that was never my setup. And seeing the voice of reason is essential, no matter the faith he belongs to.

Doubts on self

We all have them, yet after a few confirmations I had over the last few days I am hit with self-doubt. I think it is natural for me to have them. You see, to merely contemplate my thoughts, I tend to doubt everything, even my self. As I do that I redesign the ideas I have and further optimize them. This is how I roll. I always try to improve the ideas I see and have, there is always better. As I call whatever I create ‘good’, I know that there is always ‘better’, just out of reach. When you do not take that approach you will soften and others will pass you by with your IP. I think that is why I always try to improve all settings in gaming in my mind. Is there an exception? Yes, of course there is. I cannot vouch for every game to give it the ‘approved’ setting. As such I was too unimpressed with Infamous: Second Son. There are sides that unimpressed me towards a rating slightly less then good. Even though the storytelling in that game is nothing short of sublime. The setting and a lot of elements are exceptional, if it wasn’t for the linearity of the game. The game would have been an easy 90% game. So what is the exception of a game? Well I am not the ‘choice’ on that ruling, but I played a game again which I haven’t touched since its release in 2016, remade from the 2002 original. That game is as close as perfect as a game gets. And my joy feeling I had when replaying that game last week for almost 6 hours straight until I realized it was close to midnight. Insomniac Games really did a piece of fine work on that and it is clear that it deserved all the ratings that was between 80 and 90 percent. The game has layers of achievements and you need to replay levels more than once to get all the goodies. Do not forget that it was mostly OK (the 2002 version) and that was on the Playstation 2, a system that is three generations old. As such the game is pretty fantastic. 

Loss
This game also leaves me with a feeling of loss. Why aren’t more games with this feeling? It seems that most games are about the hip, the adrenaline. Not the joy of gaming. Even Sony has made this mistake in their games. Lets be clear there games are mostly awesome, yet the joy of gaming is leaving us. If I get the sentiment correctly Astro Bot (2024) is the one exception to this (I still haven’t played it). Personally for me Hogwarts Legacy (2023) was the last game where the joy of gaming was abundant. It might be me, but I think that whilst gaming firms are leaving it all to business majors, they forgot about the joy of gaming and that is making me sad. And in this the only exception is Nintendo. Not sure what their setting is, but as I see it joy is the larger component to anything they do and they do it well. 

So what brings this around. You see, in all my reengineering I often forget about joy, the joy of gaming. I see it and I recognize it, but I don’t follow that path myself. I cannot cater to joy, merely the exceptional need to make the better game. It is a failing in me and I see that. 

This also reflects on most things I do. Although I focus on the engineering side of things, I see that the joy part in anything we do is essential. It isn’t merely gaming, it is all we do that requires the joy of more and that is sad.

Reflection
That reflection also hits the Russian side of the Ukraine war. You see, we are made from sterner stuff, unlike the pussies in Washington DC stating “U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Wednesday that NATO membership for Ukraine was unrealistic and suggested Kyiv should abandon hopes of winning all its territory back from Russia and instead prepare for a negotiated peace settlement to be backed up by international troops” (source: AP News). This is the response of a near bankrupt nation that seemingly puts the words of Wall Street as the go getter sentiment. All whilst 11 hours ago we are given “A senior U.S. official on Thursday said the United States had not ruled out potential NATO membership for Ukraine or a negotiated return to its pre-2014 borders, contradicting comments made this week by the U.S. defense secretary ahead of possible peace talks to end the Ukraine war.” (Source: Reuters) As I personally see it different people take a different look at Wall Street politicking their money views against what is right and Russia is a problem for everyone. If only DARPA had taken my word seriously. You see as I see it, the nuclear solution I had for Saudi Arabia, which would take Iran’s nuclear aspirations to their basement was based on Russian nuclear reactors. As such works for party B as easy as party A. And in my (perhaps incorrect view) when Russia gets a second meltdown Russia would need to divert too many resources to their own reactors and Russian armies come to a stand still. Yes Ukraine does plenty of damage, but until summer it is electricity Russia desperately needs and when 46 reactors (plus one on meltdown) are on lockdown their sense of freezing changes and that stops a lot of actions. Call me superstitious, but I believe that Russians prefer freezing over glowing in the dark. But that could just be me. You see, this reflects on the gaming sentiment over warfare as warfare is not about joy. Wall Street will reflect on the essential need of joy, which comes from victory. But Russia left that feeling behind by getting beat by the 20th largest army in the world. When you try to improve things you also gain the ability to make things a lot worse through the view of what was not found. The flaws of a system allows for certain improvements of a personal nature and what is more fun than seeing a Russian reactor melting down? So whilst politicians volley about what ends a war as it is said in Euro News as “The new US Secretary of Defence has categorically ruled out granting NATO membership to Ukraine as a security guarantee to end Russia’s war.” A statement he had to walk back a mere 11 hours ago. So how settled is this new American administration on claims? Their one win seems to be the Gulf of America. As far as I can tell the tariffs on Canada and Australia are being met with consideration and that is igniting the Commonwealth a lot stronger than ever before. 

So what do these two things have to do with one another?
That is a valid question and there is no clear answer. There are too many optional answers, but my take is that a game creator has no funds and it trying to make it work, America has little to no funds left and is trying to make that work too and in some funny way it is appeasing Russia to make their budgets work and in this it is laughable that the Republicans are appeasing towards Russia, a sight that they tend to blame Democrats for.

And now Canada is shelving American goods and I reckon Australia is merely one step away from that as well as setting the purchasing need on Canadian goods. America has merely made things harder for themselves (This could be my wrongly view on matters). 

So in the end we merely need to doubt self to some degree and see what we can do to make it better for us and I understand that America does what is best for Americans. In that same feeling Canadians and Australians need to do what is best for their nations as well as the Commonwealth. That is the uniting side of the matter. Will it bring joy? It is too early to tell, but appeasing Russia and President Putin will not bring any joy, of that you can be certain.

The aim of the game

There are a few things on our plates and I dealt with what I personally care about (see previous materials). There is a setting that I am too hesitant to mention. I found a new way to disrupt global communications but it is not for here. You see, there is a danger to reveal a new innovative part when the agent of opposition is out of my hands. I think I know how to disrupt it, but the way to stop it does not seem to work, so its a one way solution which is never a solution. This matters as I thought it out in a mere hour and I rather be busy with reengineering games. There is a larger setting here. I used to work for a company that is now part of IBM. I actually miss those times. Still, the work was what I liked. So now I try to find a work place where I can be happy working Technical Support or Customer Care. It is merely the way I am. As such to bring a solution whilst I cannot control the stage as it escalates is also not my setting. It is perhaps part of the neatly boxing of things. I do not mind chaos, but uncontrollable chaos is not the way I roll.

These points matter. So how to coin in on those ideas? You see, we are all alike to some extent, yet we are less alike in other settings. This all reflects on the news in Arab News (at https://www.arabnews.com/node/2588847/saudi-arabia) where we see ‘Saudi project clears 732 Houthi mines in Yemen’ this happened in the last few days as we see “Members of Saudi Arabia’s Project Masam removed 732 explosive devices from various regions of Yemen last week.” And when you see “Ousama Al-Gosaibi, the initiative’s managing director, said a total of 480,526 mines had been cleared since its inception in 2018.” Here we see the part that is the evil that constitutes Houthi Terrorists. They do not care who gets hurt, not the children, not the civilians and not the elderly. They want others to clean the mess they created and they do not care who gets hurt in the process and that is why they are one of three groups that need to be eradicated. And the more hurtful settings is that the western press is ignoring this setting. They are all about the evil Saudi’s but these people are putting their lives on the line to assist the Yemeni’s survive these horrendous times. And Newsweek goes as far as giving us ‘How Donald Trump Should Deal With Saudi Arabia’, granted this is an opinion piece and that is for the most all we get. The Arab News is the only one giving voice to the massive setting what these people are facing. They were awarded the Medal of Bravery – Republic of Yemen in 2023. The western press? Nothing as far as I know. That is what balanced news should look like. 

And in 2024 we see:

  • Total land area cleared: 10,511,927 m²
  • Total anti-personnel (AP) mines cleared: 246
  • Total anti-tank (AT) mines cleared: 3,258
  • Total unexploded ordnance (UXO) cleared: 45,882
  • Total IEDs removed: 237

An almost inhuman task and they have been doing it since 2018. And since then 480,526 mines have been disposed of. And in other news. As the Ottawa Treaty 1997 is being trampled on by Houthi terrorists is it an idea for western politicians to take to battle a setting to make the Houthi terrorists the bad guys? In connection to this, Houthi terrorists (as far as I know) are not able to produce 480,526 mines, as such the real bad players need to be held to account, which is most likely Iran (my speculative view). I think it is time that the west stands up to this. Because Project Masam employs 580 staff in and outside of Yemen and that is just not right. It implies that every member of Masam deactivated 829 mines and when every mine is a presumptuous ‘BOOM’ I would argue that the mental stress on these people is a lot larger then anyone can imagine. As such the press needs to wake (the fuck) up and start doing their jobs and include all the works because Saudi Arabia has done plenty good for the Arab world, but we almost never get to see that, do we? In this setting I think we need innovation to mine cleaning and how to get the human element out of this setting, without relying on dogs. I have untested ideas and I think IBM might be able to solve the stage if they are up for it (and you need to realize, having an idea is less than a concept of a workable solution).

The one does not imply the other

We have seen the news on tariffs, we have seen the news on DeepSeek and it has exploded the views on LinkedIn as every influencer wants to cash in on the news on DeepSeek, in one way or another.

However, we forgot about one part. We forgot that we still have a nation called Ukraine that is at war with Russia. Some time ago we saw that Russia is unable to fight this war alone, so they called in the help of North Korea. We all saw them being proud as peacocks marching in unison and it looks impressive to almost any soldier and their generals. Yet the reality is different. We are given (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cjder8zgk48o) ‘Ukraine says North Koreans may have pulled out of front line’, my first thought was “Is it merely a regrouping tactic?” That happens. We can on the offense, we can select defense or we can evade. Evasion makes sense after the losses reported, but evasion towards what? Regrouping, or pulling out. Regrouping makes more sense to me. 

The BBC reports “Western officials told the BBC that, out of some 11,000 troops sent from North Korea to fight for Russia, 1,000 had been killed in just three months.” A setting that boils down to decimation of ones troops. This is not surprising, as war is a lot different from parades. But decimation is a serious setting. It amounts to the knowledge that most opponents could do serious damage to the North Korean army. So whilst it might bolster 1.3 million active troops. A decent skirmish could cost that army 130,000 troops and that is merely in the first three months. The larger setting is that Russia mistook parade strength in actual battle strength and that is just not the case. The Ukrainians know that and also realize that the fight is not yet over, more important the smudge they delivered will also soil Kim Jong Un and he does not take kindly to get soiled. I reckon that the regroup comes with the message that they better be successful or not come back at all. This is the setting of desperation and desperate soldiers are a lot more dangerous. I am inclined to believe the quote “The newspaper quoted US officials as saying the withdrawal may not be a permanent one, and the soldiers could return after receiving additional training or after the Russians come up with new ways of deploying them to avoid such heavy casualties.” The BBC gave us. There is every chance that they will get reinforcements from Pyongyang and the clear message to succeed or do not come back alive.

That last part is speculation bordering on presumption, yet with the facade we have seen with President Putin and Supreme leader Kim Jong Un my view seems to be a decently accurate one. My biggest worry is how much damage will Ukraine get in the coming year, because this is not over, not even close and unless Russia is given a truckload of damage, this will not end. Hence my two inventions that could have woken up DARPA with the intent that they test the ‘contraptions’ before handing it to Ukraine. As such I created something to block ports (a sneaky stealth system) and smelting to meltdown nuclear reactors. If the ones in South Russia stop working that army loses a lot of power (and heating) setting the Russian army to a stand still, should places like the Port of Olya gets stopped to utilize troops and materials for the front the reinforcement setting fall short. I saw that the solution is less effective in Odessa as it is a much more spread but part of the harbor could be blocked, the Nuclear reactor solution has a few question marks and both inventions were designed to aid Saudi Arabia and take Iran out of the equation. But they work on Russian principles as such it should work for both. 

Yet, this is not about me, it never was. People don’t consider the larger window. When a near defeated President Putin runs to North Korea for help, what more will he do? Consider that he mobilizes all his troops and North Korea does theirs. Do you think South Korea will be overlooked? The larger setting is that should (being the operative word) be successful, the pressure on Japan grows immensely. Do you think that any dictator (sorry I meant supreme leader) will simply stop at one win? Do you think Ukraine is enough for President Putin? It is this the shallowness how some people think?

The reality is quite different. They see that losses are a mere hinder block to more and they both want more, they both are on the verge of seeing the loss of basic necessities in their countries and they realize that they are now on borrowed time, they both are. They need a decent win to ‘depart’ the scene with the honor of victory and that is where we currently stand. Russia and North Korea never counted on the tenacity of Zelensky and his troops. So where will this go? That depends on the support the Ukrainian troops receive in the near future and that is where we come in, preferably as soon as possible.

Tea with Yellowcake

That happens, we have some tea and we want something to snack with the tea, I also have that need with coffee, but there I tend to simply rely on the trusty toasted Blueberry muffin. Its yummy with some coffee, preferably a cappuccino. Tea has different needs, for the most I have some Tiramisu, or a Black Forest Cake. The other thing I used to love and it seems to be the limiting Dutch option of the Cream Cake, I haven’t seen it anywhere outside of the Netherlands and Belgium. Anywhere else it is not the yummy experience.

As for yummy options, Aljazeera (at https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/1/14/saudi-arabia-announces-plans-to-enrich-and-sell-uranium) gives us now ‘Saudi Arabia announces plans to enrich and sell uranium’ and before you start blaming Saudi Arabia with all kinds of messes, remember that the west (particularly USA) was unable to contain Iran with their nuclear messes. Remember Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Between 2005-2013 he made a right mess and enriched to his heart content, Saudi Arabia was confronted with over half a decade of worrisome Iranian tactics as was Israel. In that setting Saudi Arabia had set the tone that they weren’t starting this, but they would match Iran in their actions. And now we get “Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud told a conference in Dhahran on Monday that the move is part of a strategy to monetise all minerals, according to Reuters news agency.” I say if you need to do something, you better get some coins out of it. And it seems that Saudi Arabia is doing just that. It is the setting of “Trump pursued a policy of “maximum pressure”, withdrawing the US from a landmark deal which imposed curbs on Iran’s nuclear program in return for sanctions relief. Tehran adhered to the deal until Washington’s withdrawal, but then began rolling back its commitments.” And the setting that Iran rolled back its commitments is (my personal view) the reason that Saudi Arabia made these steps. The fact that they are clever about it and let this setting evolve through its own funding might be a speculative reason for this. All that time that America and the EU smoothed over the actions of Iran is precisely the reason that we are facing this. In all honesty I feel more secure with Saudi Arabia doing this than Iran ever did. It was the initial reason why I created the (optional and untested) Meltdown solution. There is nothing like a nuclear reactor melting down on itself, and when I saw images of Chernobyl my brain went to work and the result was put in ‘Keeping my promise, part 1’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2021/12/14/keeping-my-promise-part-1/) and the hilarious part of this was that Iran would be spending a few billions only to see it meltdown in the first month. I do have a quirky sense of humor. But as things go, Saudi Arabia is in the market of selling the stuff and it is their mineral and I think that good business is where you find it. I reckon it will take America a few days to shout at the world and they will ‘demand’ a peaceful solution. I say stuff that. They could never contain Iran (and the world applauded their non-actions) and look where that has got them. So whilst we see “Riyadh has yet to fire up its first nuclear reactor, which allows its program to still be monitored under the Small Quantities Protocol (SQP), an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency that exempts less advanced states from many reporting obligations and inspections.” We have to see that Saudi Arabia is much more than sand and oil (they have tourist space as well). Now that they are moving into the yellowcake market we need to see what comes up. I reckon that it won’t be the money fountain they would wish for as yellowcake goes for roughly $60 per kilo. It is roughly the price of tuna, so there is that issue to consider. Yet the foundation of ‘part of a strategy to monetise all minerals’ is something I would applaud and nearly every country should consider this. There are of course ethical issues to consider, but if the world does nothing about Iran, they have no business interfering with Saudi Arabia either, apart from the small fact that I trust Saudi Arabia a whole lot more than Iran.

The reverse effect for some

Today I got some news in Arab News (at https://www.arabnews.com/node/2585317/saudi-arabia) where we see ‘Saudi project clears 1,151 Houthi mines in Yemen’ We are given “The total included 32 anti-tank mines, 1,115 unexploded ordnances and four explosive devices, according to a recent report” Members of Saudi Arabia’s Project Masam has been active since 2018. In that time they cleared a total of 477,583 mines since its inception. And the western (most likely corrupt media) ignored this for years. The prefer bashing Israel and giving others a clean pass. But the numbers are not to be ignored. If we go by averages, it implies that the placement of 477,583 mines at $50 a pop implies a investment of a little shy of 24 million, a lot more if you consider that jot all are found and those who did explode don’t need clearing. So when did Houthi terrorists have that kind of money? 

They didn’t and this implies that Iran has forwarded them the good and optionally money and other elements too. But the media steers clear of that part don’t they? The other side of the coin is worse, Saudi Arabia had to invest people and somewhere around $1,000,000,000 (one billion) to get rid of this Iranian menace. At present the demining operations took place in Marib, Aden, Jouf, Shabwa, Taiz, Hodeidah, Lahij, Sanaa, Al-Bayda, Al-Dhale and Saada. The problem is that wide spread. But leave it to the media to report on the hardship of those poor poor terrorists. It is time that the media wakes the fuck up and does their actual job, which is reporting the news, not chase digital dollars through flaming the audience.

All this was given more then once (I saw the report in 2021) and the western media gives us nothing, or perhaps whatever flames people the most. The more I notice, the more the western media disgusts me.

When it rains, it pours

That was the very first thought I had when I was confronted with the opinion piece in the Middle East Monitor (at https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20241129-saudi-arabia-abandons-pursuit-of-us-defence-treaty-over-israel-stalemate/) where we see ‘Saudi Arabia abandons pursuit of US defence treaty over Israel stalemate’. I have said it before and I will say it again. The US needs to stop their stop gap resolution of “We can do this, if we can have….” That is a setting that is past tense. America needs to open all valves to get any revenue out of Saudi Arabia (and other nations there). Now that we see “Saudi Arabia is now pushing for a more modest military cooperation agreement, two Saudi and four Western officials told Reuters” the US needs to stop its appeasement trajectory. On the plus side China is pretty happy with that flawed approach from America. There is every chance that China will open the flood gates and let Saudi Arabia go nuts on the Chengdu J-20. 

Is this a given? Nope, but for others to see Saudi Arabia embracing the J-20 is the first sign that America is about to lose several contracts. Not all (it fits with the modest military cooperation agreement setting) I predicted a loss of 40% towards the US defense contracts and so far there are indications that 30 billion left American shores for Europe and China (unverified numbers). But the first stage has been reached. And the setting changes if this does happen. The American loans are set to a 90%-95% fulfilment of contracts and there are larger consideration that America will at best get 60%-65% restated for America. And it gets worse for the US, Saudi Arabia has stated to grow its national defense settings and if China makes that happen all whilst Antony Blinken remains in the appeasement setting, the losses will get worse. I speculate a lot worse, but I don’t have access to anything reliable for the numbers in that game. As such, I need to add the ‘speculation’ label as I haven’t been connected to defence parties for 42 years. 

We are also given “Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has again made recognition of Israel conditional on it taking concrete steps to create a Palestinian State” I understand that setting, but I personally belief that this should be done after the eradication of Hamas. Saudi Arabia has been under attack through Iranian proxies for too long and as such the three terrorist organisations Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthi their eradication becomes a near essential. You want to doubt this? That’s fair but the essential setting becomes that Iran wants to stop the achievements of Neom (including Sindalah, the Line, Trojena, Oxagon and Magna). At some point One of these three parties will be added to the work roster of them and they will introduce small flaws, flaws that might not be noticed now, but in a year or two when things start to go wrong, the costs will enormous. An Iran will be quiet for a larger share of the table that is how it starts and Saudi Arabia is too far ahead now. If we want to protect the achievements of Saudi Arabia eradicating Hamas, Houthi and Hezbollah forces becomes the larger setting. All those weakhearted lefties will argue that these people are really sorry and should be forgiven. I say hell with that and eradicate them all. Or have you all forgotten how Saudi Arabia was on the verge of setting the larger stage to include Israel? Some will say that Hamas was brilliant and I say that this is the final straw setting the stage of eradication for these three puppets of Iran. And Iran knows that Israel is about to settle the attacks on the territory of Israel and that would escalate things even further. Now that will happen in two stages. In the first the attacks that Hezbollah will vie for and the threats from Iran takes it even further. The danger here is that Iran could ‘press’ Houthi forces further and that would force the hand of Saudi Arabia. In that stage China could proceed by handing Saudi Arabia a support setting of the Chengdu J-20 as well as the primary delivery of the speculated Xi’an H-20. I reckon that it is not completed yet, but they could hand 3 of these puppies to Saudi Arabia so that the Saudi Airforce could strike against the Houthi Forces. (I did say could, not will). Consider that these two planes would be readily sought by other Arabian nations (including Egypt, Jordan and Iraq) this is largely speculative, but it allows China to take more and more slices from American defence industries. And as this happens Iran needs to hide, because these choices would reduce the Houthi forces to next to nothing and at that point Iranian actions would fall flat and at that point Israel has options and Hamas should have none left. 

As such the Saudi war hammer will carve slices of Yemen to rubble. In all this there are two sides that matter. The first is that the west ignored that stages that China prepared for and now we see that Saudi Arabia has selected for “a more modest military cooperation agreement” with America, as scheduled the door opens for China to get more of towards America assigned spending. As I personally would speculate is that Saudi Arabia is now in a good place to negotiate and as Blinken seemingly trusted on “We can do this, if we can have….” We see that America endangered its position for defence spending. I believe that I am correct, but there are signs that it is based on a opinion piece. Not on reported facts.

What people need to realise is that this all started on October 7th 2023 when Hamas struck the Nova music festival massacre, overall 1,139 people were killed and 250 Israeli civilians and soldiers were taken as hostages to the Gaza Strip. That started this mess but the media is extremely willing to avoid certain matters. And now we see a larger setting Saudi Arabia is (as I personally see it) ready to find a new defence partner and spend billions with that new partner. 

So when some will call this a mild rain, consider that thought because those billions would have paid for the loans which could now fall short of payment for the next few years.

As such appeasement becomes deadening. America made a massive booboo as I see it. Have a fun day.
