How Google is losing the plot

Yes, it happens and in this age of all the fake AI it will happen a lot sooner than you think. So, you want to see evidence? Easily done. 

So here you see the result of the query [lawlordtobe + “tome”]

Seems simple enough, so why was “https://lawlordtobe.com/2021/07/22/tome/” omitted? It was a simple enough request and whilst we see results that ‘kinda’ answers the request from 2018, all whilst the ACTUAL article was not there and it was published in 2021. We get an AI overview, we get all kinds of articles, but not the one I asked for. So how did Google lose the plot? I am kinda curious. Because the query itself is really simple. There was even an older article in 2020, but that one was called ‘Tomes’ so it might not have made the ‘query setting’ but then neither did the other ones because the one we do see is tagged with “iBook”, but the title is “An actual competitor” so whilst we get into the setting of blame (like) “You should have done ….” No, I asked for for the specific query and I might have gotten more and that would have been fine, but the one mention that I actually needed was not given. 

We seem to have the ‘old fashioned’ setting that Google responds to OUR query, what we wanted and they are even selling Google ads on that premise “do what the question asks” so why is Google missing the point by over a mile? 

So whilst we were given n the past ‘US v. Google Antitrust Verdict’ with “A US federal court ruled that Google built and maintained an illegal monopoly in the search and digital advertising markets through exclusive default agreements with phone makers and browsers” I am contemplating that some of that ‘overlapped’ in different fields (and contemplating does not mean that they are doing this or that this is happening). But in this day and age where we kinda rely on Google giving us the goods, the simple fact that it does not, is a massive cause for concern.

And this was merely me looking up something for myself regarding what I myself wrote, so how much more is there out there?

End of a fairy tale

That is what kept creating in my mind, it was pushed there by the BBC (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cqkg50j1yd5lo) less then 24 hours ago and it is time that I (kinda) repeat what I have been saying all along and for this version lets use the ‘fairy tale’ approach. The title gives us ‘Rogue Anthropic AI agent gave police fake tip in unsolved murder case’ and I get (to some degree) fed up with this rogue setting. So lets explain the setting of a rogue. 

This is the first rogue, in this case a female rogue and thoroughly explored in Dungeons and Dragons themes where to poor butcher (could be a fisherman) pleads with this rogue “Oh, please gloomy dark lady, do not deprive me of my virginity” and the outcome of that is decided by dice (or an interrupt card) and that is the ‘Rogue’ that has been in play for centuries (although until the 18th century I have never seen a female version. I did hear from a man in the 19th century named Dick Turpin that he met one, but it might have been the combinations of ale and wines and him losing his purse. 

The decently real rogue in this case is the ‘dorky’ IT guy who gets his programming a little wrong. Like the ‘eager’ student in a renowned University working on his ‘assignment’ and he is looking into statistics, more precise Multivariate Analysis of Variance (aka MANOVA) and the dastardly scoundrel gets a parentheses wrong the “(“ or “)” particularly the placement and now what was a small assignment where the illustrious student evaluates a linear combination of multiple correlated outcome variables, but as one of the parentheses is in the wrong place, the mainframe it working on is seeing a correct statement and it does it, but the size of what is to be analyzed take a lot more than the available memory of the mainframe. It goes a little bonkers. And makes the system administrator scream and call for his mommy.

And as the BBC is giving us “An artificial intelligence (AI) agent developed by Anthropic went rogue and sent US police a fake tip about an unsolved murder earlier this year, authorities have revealed. The Philadelphia Police Department said the 18 July tip was “flagged as spam” and not passed on for investigation – but the force criticised the tech firm for taking more than two months to detect and report the breach. It said the bogus tip came through a public website where people can share information on unsolved murders, and that the AI agent had claimed to have seen “someone matching the description”.” So there are claims that could be it, but this is not some system going ‘rogue’ because that system is not armed with sharp blades (or poisonous arrows) and the setting that the BBC is giving us (and many other media as well) is a programming error like I described, but these systems cannot afford the class actions coming from there, as such we now get more and more ‘class actions’ Now this last part is speculation by me. I would call it presumption, but that requires genuine insight and I don’t have it, because to me all AI is fake. But consider that predictive analytics uses statistics to find causality and correlation and optionally ANOVA and MANOVA are used. Now ask yourself could a programmer gotten a parentheses wrong, of will we see servers stealth fully walk the corridors of your corporation, leaving false evidence behind?

Just something to consider.

So whilst we get “The police department added that there were no signs of breaches to any departmental systems and that its safeguarding processes stopped the fake tip from getting past its spam folder. But the safeguards “do not diminish the seriousness of an AI system presenting fabricated information as though it came from a person with knowledge of a homicide”, the force said.” And there is a case for “AI system presenting fabricated information”, in courts there have ben several cases where these systems ‘created’ false case files and not once, but several times. And in the age of utter shortcomings in validation and verification, these systems are extremely flawed. I wonder how these systems hold up against the system that they created, The UK Police Scientific Development Branch started the Major Incident Project in 1974. It would be called Holmes and apparently (I was unaware) a Holmes 2 system was rolled out around 2000. So, were there considerations on how validation and verification happened in those days?

And when we get to “Anthropic this week published a report detailing multiple types of “unintended” actions its agents have taken. Organisations that had been impacted also included several US government agencies including the White House, it said. The US State Department said the AI agent had filed 20 visa applications using a form on its website, but that they were incomplete and not processed, according to reports. US President Donald Trump recently announced an AI taskforce, which he said will co-ordinate engagement between the government and all parties, including AI companies, consumers and religious groups.” So in this case was the agent a real person? And when we get to “the safeguards “do not diminish the seriousness of an AI system presenting fabricated information as though it came from a person with knowledge of a homicide”” was this a person wanting (read: hoping) for a free ride into the United States? The article left me with questions, as well as the fact that “presenting fabricated information” requires certain steps of validation, optionally veridic action and at the very least question into the predictive analytics side of things, because a programmer getting (optionally) a parentheses wrong is seemingly one with enormous potential and optionally the easiest solution into this setting. It is not a setting that Anthropic likes, because that could start a new class action war and when one goes down the others go too and I reckon that OpenAI, Grok, and Gemini will assist in keeping the ‘Rogue’ setting alive, they all have plenty to lose and my giggling sense of humour comes with the setting that these fake AI settings is costing them 3-4 trillion and the court cases settlements could exceed that at the very least (but that is merely my sense of humour)

So have a great day and consider when you get your coffee that the POS could steal your credit card, Rogues are intensely able to do this and spend it on new shoes. Or we could look at where the programmer went wrong. Its all up to you.

Changes

I see the world of changes going towards me and I am fine with it. Some are distinctly different, some seem mundane and similar. There is no real way to see what is what and the setting of what matters is not that important. I learned early in live that the sum of it all matters and how you impact it, it’s like standing on the axial of the seesaw. Impacting how you distribute the weight to make the seesaw going one way or the other. It makes you a game decider, a tactician. 

But before you think that I am so ‘important’ (I really am not) but there is a side that ‘haunts’ me. I am no politician, even if tactical people need to have a political frame of mind it is not the same. People like me are able the see the lie (perhaps ‘intentional miscommunication’ is a better term) and when we see ‘Steve Moore: US economy is blowing away other nations despite inflation’ we see the lie. When we are given “Unleash Prosperity co-founder Steve Moore joins ‘Mornings with FOX Business’ to discuss the state of the US economy, highlights strong investment numbers and argues that the US is economically outperforming other nations. Analyzing the U.S. economy’s strength, Unleash Prosperity co-founder Steve Moore joins ‘Mornings with FOX Business’ to discuss resilience against inflation. Moore argues the United States is outperforming other nations and notes that international investors are betting on America, dismissing pessimistic narratives.” (Source: Fox Business) In what universe is the US in a state of strength? President Trump keeps on missing the goals, making threats and bully his way through this world. At present US tourism is over 5% down, the US economy is based on a set of 6-8 players handing money to each other calling it economy. Tens of thousands lost their jobs in this economy and whilst we are told “The U.S. economy added 29,000 jobs in September 2026, falling short of the expected 90,000”, others like Indeed give the world “Now Hiring: 247000 USA Jobs”, they did this is 2013 as well, offering hundreds of ‘jobs’ in places that needed them, scouring the world for data. And now you see that this ‘resilience against inflation’ is so clueless when the US Tourism is losing to Europe, Asia and the Gulf states. Then we see ‘The U.S. Economy Just Delivered Bad News. History Says It Could Be Good News for the S&P 500.’ A two tailed story where we see “High interest rates have become one of the market’s biggest boogeymen. While the short-term impact can be minimal, over time they can increase borrowing costs, slow economic growth, and become a drag on corporate earnings. But those things occurring while economic growth is still healthy and earnings growth is strong might not be the worst thing in the world. In the current situation, slower job growth could lead to lower rates, but at the same time, potentially not slow the economy enough that a recession becomes a risk. If the economy can strike an equilibrium where inflation and interest rates fall but GDP growth and earnings growth remain positive, it can produce the ideal environment for stock prices to keep pushing higher.” The story sounds and feels true, but now we get to see the two-sided side. As I see the the US economy supports the people, and bad news here is not good news for them. It optionally is reasonable news for the members of the S&P500 and the additional “Long-term investors should probably just stay the course. The market has been talking about AI slowdowns and corrections for most of 2026. Yet the S&P 500 is up 14% year to date and the Nasdaq-100 is up 24%. There’s no sense in trying to predict these things and changing your portfolio because of it.” But the setting is close to changing, the setting of AI is fake (if you read my blogs you know the reason) the people are getting aware and we see: “Class actions have become a recognised enterprise risk, shaped by cyber incidents, regulatory scrutiny, shareholder expectations, ESG obligations and emerging technologies. Organisations can’t afford to view them as isolated legal events.

Our survey of senior legal, governance and risk professionals across corporate Australia reveals a clear shift: class action risk is increasingly viewed as a Board-level issue requiring stronger governance, oversight and organisational readiness.” The Law firms are aware. Herbert Smith Freeholds Kramer for one. So as the world of AI (Super Intelligence for Americans) is getting swamped with class actions (I need to take part in one as they are stealing my stories, which they call ‘training data’ we see a different story. The different story is that those in deep, too deep, implies that they need the train to continue so that they can cash in on their losses and make them other peoples losses. To see a ‘class action risk’ simpler as a ‘Board-level issue’ implies that they need to law to change, the law no longer suits their purpose. I reckon that first IP laws will undergo ‘changes’ so that the (as they say it) ‘the good of commerce can continue’ then they go into patent law so that these Predicted Analytics systems could score the roads and claim the IP of others and as such these 8 players get to claim the next generation of inventions, because those who create the items the next generation needs, these settings that will get them the  economy, the vaults and wealth of itemized goods. So, in one stroke, they get the wealth of the planet and they will all claim it was theirs all along. But the ideas that I (and thousands of others created) what happened to them? Should I just hide and keep it a secret? That is what they want. I fought it to make some of it public domain, they can’t get it in this way and there is more, whatever IP I create are some in some way expected steps of what was to come became public domain. I might lose the revenue of what I would have never gotten in the first place, I can rely on ‘the law’ to do me a thankless solid and get me the revenue for. My stories and as there are plenty of logs showing that a ‘few’ nameless people taken several times the stories I wrote (over 7000 times) and even if the settlement is merely $10K per story, I will be set for life and not just me, thousands of people will get to claim that setting and it is why the legal setting (according to them) needs to change. First they sack tens of thousands of people, trying to ‘pay’ for their upsell of revenue of these ‘fake AI’ systems and now they are losing so much more to all these class actions. Our benefit? Most lawyers are greed driven (they call it ‘billable hours’) and if they make enough hours, I (and many others) get paid. It is one way to balance the seesaw and shift that balance in favour of us, the victims of theft. 

But the setting goes deeper than that. You see, these ‘delusional’ settings of the economy will hit the American people. At present we are given “Share of Alleged Losses: AI filings represented roughly 13% of core securities filings, but accounted for 73% of all alleged investor losses measured in the period”, “Disclosure Dollar Loss (DDL) Index: AI filings accounted for $385 billion of the DDL Index (73% of the total” as well as “Maximum Dollar Loss (MDL) Index: AI filings accounted for $1.3 trillion of the MDL Index (73% of the total), with technology sector filings reaching $1,445 billion in MDL overall.” And as these are the views that are not just bad for Americans? They are disastrous. Because as I said, “(as they say it) ‘the good of commerce can continue’” but it is set to them (singular) not the people, not the nations. For them and them alone, it is “board room thinking” and it requires changes for that to start, continue and settled and all that is happening right now, but it can only continue if they have these co called independent consultants to give us a ‘braided’ story that steers clear of what people need to know to decide.

But in the end, we get to decide and see where we want to go. But in the end, we should choose and I chose this setting. What others choose is their business. Ron Herbert (Dune) once said, “He who destroys a thing, controls a thing” I really like this. As such I made most of my ideas ‘public domain’ including the military IP for Saudi Arabia and the UAE. No reason to get contracts out, they can just act on them, a simple solution. 

So whilst you might think my ‘ramblings’ sounds useless, but the path we are given is not that clear. And we are getting overloaded by ‘so called’ data and that is where the predicted analytics is being used. To confuse us, not to inform us, other systems do that and these fake AI systems can figure out based on the data it is given. So whilst plenty of people will tell me I am as ‘daft as a doornail’, others will call me crazy as a cabbage. But I feel that I am on the right track even if I cannot perceive the whole stage yet, and that is perhaps because others have turned out the light, so that we merely see the headlines. But there is more, a lot more and I am not seeing it all (I’ll freely admit to that)

By bus or by brain

That is what I was confronted with. I had to take the bus (too much to walk) and I don’t mind the bus, it gets me to relax (not as much as a train), so I was looking around and the bad of a lady caught my eye. It was a rather large circular clasp. A moment later a thought hit me. “What if it was not merely a clasp?” And my mind went on a little voyage. And android device (it should work on iOS as well, as such an independent developer could satisfy both markets. A circular device which was connected to a bak or messenger bag by a magnet. The clasp is charged wirelessly and optional (in future models) it could be partially charged by your mobile. So the device is driven  by getting paired to your mobile and as I see it, it could be operated by any widget your phone has installed. World times, Weather, you name it, it pairs and I reckon that the clasp has 256Mb memory so it doesn’t run out of memory any day soon (or if someone ‘accidentally’ puts every wedge on the phone) so charging is wireless, so we have no port connection, as such that drive is better protected against water. The clasp is paired to a mobile (I reckon that it the wireless charger is also a magnetic connector to the phone for restoring all parts it needs and initial pairing. After it is paired once it is set into ROM (Read-Only Memory) and contains the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity. As such stealing it is useless and only if a factory reset is done via the mobile can the clasp be freed. 

The setting is that the mobile can stay where it is and direct information is available. Too many mobiles are stolen as people get them out, this might prevent some of these thefts. The idea is too also incorporate text messages and make then readable through the clasp. Another method of theft avoided and as the clasp has a strong magnet connector, and if it is under the flap of the (messenger) bag as such safety is better and the fact that it is bound to the mobile, there are less reasons to steal them as such making the theft a hazard and not a form of income. In addition we could add on the mobile and on the clasp a sound to ask where they are, so the clasp could let the phone whistle where it is and the mobile could call out to the clasp (This idea already exists on Smart watches) I merely added the clasp to have that too. There is the idea to have a code setting of a fingerprint to access text messages, because that might be needed. The widgets are accessible at all times. The text messages, and optionally things like Google Keep and other personal controlled data not. But on route when you want to check weather, times and other settings you need access to a be accessed. You could add a control setting telling the clasp which apps are privacy controlled and which are not. We could leave this up to the user (which is always a good idea).

As I moved to my destination, the clasp made more and more sense. The people optionally getting of the bus could grab the mobile and run off. The optional clasp could set out an alarm telling others that it is a stolen object, there are more options, but I feel hesitant to employ these. I reckon that this is in hands on the Android/iOS operators. Still, the idea has merit as I see it, you see, not everyone os happy with a smartwatch. Some people embrace their Rolex, Breitling, Philip Patek or the upper class devices like Seiko and Citizen and people get really attached to their watches as such the clasp could also be an alternative for that reason. The setting is that the clasp is larger than the watch and as such could reveal more or information in a larger fount. Just an idea to consider. 

Anyway, that was my creative bubble working in the 37.8 minutes (roughly) whilst I travelled from A to B. Perhaps it is nothing, perhaps the idea gets others inspired to make the idea real. Well that is it for now. Time for me to see Megan make people run for their lives (the first movie) and perhaps it gives me more ideas, one can only hope.

Google’s endangering stride

That is quite the mouthful and I would have liked to have more ‘evidence’ but the setting is somewhat too dire. You see, I have been a lifelong fan of Android and Google and until recently (when I acquired my Pixel 11) all was fine. There were a few hiccups, but that happens in nearly every phone. So here I am with my Google Pixel 11 (Olive) and my Google Watch 5 (Also Olive) and a weird setting is happening. Weird is not the right words, because there is a distinct difference between ‘Weird’ and the ‘enabling hackers’ that is a little too extreme for words.

So in normal settings we get:

This setting where we have a setting called WiFi and I normally have it set to ‘OFF’ but in the last two weeks there have been over half a dozen instances where Google saw it as a setting where it should be turned ‘ON’ and that is too weird for words. I decide what to do and Google does not,  not even in jest, or win any setting other than MY given permission. Because there will always be a situation where it might need to be turned on and in this age of Cyberhackers and just hacking to appease organized crime requires a delicate touch (like in ‘over my dead body you fucking fuckwit’) but I reckon you get the jest of this. There is no instance other then your dedicated inference that WiFi is to be turned on and the current setting is too unacceptable to be considered.

So whilst Google can optionally come up with all kinds of excuses of why (without consulting the user) that it might be turned on, the real issue becomes ‘When will you ruddy well fix that’ and that is the nicest way of me telling Google that they need to consider the ID10T issue that needs to be purged from the holy archives of Google. It might be right next to the people relying on a RTFM setting. Which could be explained in several ways, but the largest setting is that the Google Pixel 11 (I have the XL PRO version in Olive) requires a rather large testing sequence and they need to figure out where this WiFi is (optionally) randomly switched to the ON setting. I am pretty sure that I have not been hacked, or that an unknown router was connected to my Mobile, but there is no way to tall for sure and Google needs to fix this AFAFP (As Fast As Fucking Possible) and I now remember that these irritations make me swear like a boatswain in foul weather.

So make sure that you check how your WiFi is set and it might be fine, but in this day and age, there is always the need for checking your connections.

Defining that new game

Almost two days ago I wrote ‘A really crazy idea’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2026/09/21/a-really-crazy-idea/) my mind did not sit still as it evolved and evolved a few ideas. You see, this game has real options as the hatred/disgust of the United States administration has not let up and with their ‘statements’ of a new deal with Greenland, which is basically the same one they had since 1951, the EU is added to this lovely set of people with a lasting disgust/hatred of the United States administration. So as such a mere 10% of 2 billion people would amount to 200 million optional gamers, making this idea slightly more successful than Skyrim has ever been. And a gamer like me finds that setting more than addictive. 

So whilst my mind was setting the data in my mind of events, sort of attack and impact set against the GDP of states and the GDP of the nation, all whilst we consider the impact that books and movies had in the suspense, terror and fictive fiction. Consider that these ideas were farfetched in the 70s, nowadays there is a reality of options and that is merely the start of it all. 

So when we see this and now realise that the United States have been playing loose with the security of its nation. Whilst the settings to rail and harbours have been shorted to the largest extend. As such finding a hundreds of books and hundreds of TV and cinematic approach to dangers to the way of life that the United States so ‘advertises’ we see a new setting of gaming and I like my gaming and we all love a high score, even if it is against a former ally. So, when we thing of this. How will the people in the Gulf States and Eastern Asia see this game? I reckon that billions will be playing it and that is where my gaming insight combined with BI and databases are connecting. 

So whilst we get the setting of a future game, I am wondering how much of a book I could ‘copy’ in narration before copyright protection shuts it down. So consider that this idea got a foothold from 1970 The Scarlatti Inheritance (by Robert Ludlum) where we saw “During World War II, the Allies launched a massive campaign of economic warfare to cripple Nazi Germany’s capacity to wage war. Because Germany relied heavily on imported raw materials, fuel, and foreign labor, the Allies targeted these vulnerabilities through three main strategies” and as we look now, the United States has pushed itself into a corner by alienating all the allies it once had and made a bigger enemy of China and the far east. As such I saw this setting and a game that they will love (the United States less so) and the setting of a think tank that wages economic war for the betterment of self is not an alien concept. As such there is a larger fuel feeding that could happen. Now consider the movie Wanted: Dead or Alive (1987), we all think that this is just a movie, but Gene Simmons (from the band Kiss) put a dangerous enemy on the map. And the Dutch Rutger Hauer only barely stopped him and now that the harbours are lacking in security that setting is not an inconceivable as seen. This is merely one movie and there are hundreds more and whilst the United States is lacking in several places. The impact of such matters could be largely disastrous (especially as the US Bank accounts are now minus 40 trillion) and that is where my gaming gene came into play, because the idea of another Evil Genius game but now set unto the impact of a nation might be just what my bank account needs (we all care for ones own bank account).

So, why so many options?
We all need a game that has replayability and is not set onto the same shape over and over again and whilst we take a turn onto what is possible, we could set the station onto sabotage of services, populations and a whole range of targets. The setting is that the more options (and optionally more after release) could entice a whole range of gamers into the field of this game. And as the game is set towards creativity, there are a whole range of other options to be considered (even some I haven’t figured out myself yet). 

And whilst we are considering how foolish I am, consider that President Trump created this stage himself and good business is where you find it and why be nice about that? When we consider the impact of animosity, consider the setting that the enemy of my enemy is my friend and as such there are people from Istanbul to Beijing who actively hate President Trump and his administration and as such optional donators to my bank account (my personal version of delusion) and we can go from there, because I put the idea online so that they can ‘feed my bank account’ with their gratitude. We all work with what we have and the only gaming entities that like my idea are in China, India or the Gulf states and this is my way to addressing them all.

But there are still a few kinks to work out and whilst people will look into IMDB for ‘attacks on America’ and the will have a few hundred options there and when we consider the books hundreds more will surface. A setting that is the start of it all. Getting this into a field with expected damage per state or as a country will require some time and they will see the impact that all this could make. The first hurdle being passed opens up the second stage. The stage of a fictive timeline of research, development and implementation. And in all of these cases no fake AI was required. What a lovely setting we see.

So, let the developer who might like a few hundred million games sold stand up, because even at $5 per games on mobile, this could make them a billionaire in a decently short amount of time. An amount at the expense of President Trump which he has no hold over and cannot collect on. What a lovely stage he created with his animosity. Oh, I just realised, there are plenty of Canadians who might try to get into this game as well and develop this and I just now remembered that Ubisoft Montreal shed a lot of members, they might want to get into this as well. Ah, what a funny setting. The people labelled’ to be the ‘51st state’ might want to make a game that ends the United States. The symmetry is overwhelmingly sweet.

It’s new Jim

That is the setting giving a little homage to Dr. Leonard McCoy (DeForest Kelley) and he rightfully deserves it. Don’t get me wrong, Karl Urban did a fine job, but I grew up watching the Original cast on TV and lets be clear, Karl was amazing as the little winged Cupid and he was the best judge we have seen in cinema. He looked really like the comic books, but it is not about either characters. There is however some light connection and this story I hand to Avalanche Software. You see, I got to thinking early this morning and I reckoned that backstories make for decent games and whilst we consider series like CSI (which is awesome) the idea of an Auror taking care of business was not greatly shown in Hogwarts Legacy and as such that role needed an update for the second game. But what is a story/vocation when you aren’t vested in the idea? So that’s when I came up with the trials of an Auror. You see, we can all look towards the stages of magic as there is greatness and greatness, but working with limitations is what truly could make a game great. As such we needed to see a magic class that has little magic, not a squib, but perhaps an alchemist derivative, so not magic press, but magically inclined and with additional skills. And as such the Auror Alchemist came to mind. Not a squib, but limited magic with skills. So even as some (namely one) that had the Philosophers stone, but alchemists has a long lineage of magic creatures and this one was driven into a police force as a forensic specialist and as such he was ‘summoned’ to work in Irondale. So this is where the setting starts.

Consider the CSI games and they were fun, but it is settled around statical settings. So what happens when the game is drenched in Hogwarts Legacy (to give it a name) and you need to look at the settings of crimes with a magical aspect and often it needs to be surrounded by muggle settings. As such it becomes a two tiered game. Consider like the crime scenes in Arkham Knight, but not that high tech, the setting however could be used and it needs to be set in both ‘muggle’ and magic challenges, because the evidence needs to ‘satisfy’ common folk (as in non-magical hardworking people) and that is the challenge for Avalanche. I consider the feeling I had with the scene of Potter/Dumbledore finding Slughorn in Budleigh Babberton (yes, I know, it is not a real town). But that setting inspired the idea and it needs to be a serious piece of entertainment. As such the groundwork needs to be done and all kinds of Lore would need to get created and perhaps this would be up to team Avalanche/Rowling. I have no idea how that setting is or works. But I am merely trying to dot the “iiiiii’s” So when the mechanics are given the proper considerations (I used the Batman as a setting, which might work) but there is no high tech, there is a ‘predator’ setting of the room with scents, different looks and a splatter view of substances you see and so on. Like a magical renaissance view of Batman crossed with what a snake might see (they have infrared vision) and link that with a cat and you get a whole new world. Optional these views are evolution views that the Auror could grow/embed. 

And there needs to be decent cases, which is up to Avalanche software to figure out. Can’t expect me to do it all. But I believe that the Wizarding world fans are numerous, so numerous that they will grow that side into a talking about this setting and this optional game (optionally rejected by Avalanche software) to consider. And as this is a Wizarding world setting is is (as I personally see it) the idea is now also co-owned by JK Rowling. 

So, consider the implications of it all, the idea of getting a magic/muggle stage and how to combine that? I think that Arkham Knight had the right setting (and amazing job by Rocksteady Studios) and we cannot tweak it, but we can set this stage in a similar fashion, more renaissance, less high tech and there are also red herrings (not the fish), because when can we see a muggle stage? It might be a more advanced case later in the game. 

As such I feel I have spend my day creatively and it beats looking at the lies from politicians in a stage we massively don’t care about. Personally I think that this could be its own game (or at least should be) whilst parts of this could be transferred (more transformed) into Hogwarts Legacy 2 (if this fits whatever story line Avalanche is considering.

As they say another day, another dollar (in my case, my issues should then be solved by February 10,415 (almost 2 centuries after Paul Atreides is born).  You all have a good one today. My Monday is nearly over and I see now on YouTube that the TIFF is running (Toronto International Film Festival), and rumor has it that Sebastian Stan will be seen there with both arms intact (can someone confirm this please?)

Life in turmoil

Im not sure where I stand at present. I am seeing all kind of settings. X is now following me (not are if that is real or some scammer) I get unwarranted direct messages, who apparently vanished a little later and I am seeing populist statements on all kinds of social media. Not sure what to make of it. Still getting shafted by LinkedIn/Microsoft they told me I was looked up twice last week, whilst I can see three directly and I know of two others, so 5 (I reckon more) looked me up, but that LinkedIn/Microsoft setting told me two looked me up, So is this an example of fake AI, or is this a sales technique and if it is a sales technique it is a bad one, because as I see it, there is a clear need for a Chinese version of LinkedIn. Apart from that, Google missed the pole by a mile, and whilst at least two called were lost as my phone was apparently in Do Not Disturb, all whist I have never ever used that mode. And what I had last wee I had today again. My new Google Pixel 11 now switches on WiFI all whilst I never invited it to do so (as such Sundar is basically enabling cybercrimes). As such a word of warning to Sundar Pichai (the big boss there) My Google Pixel 11, is now less functional than my Google Pixel 9 ever was. There are a few issues with my Watch 5 as well, but I am not sure if that is an app setting or if it lost functionality against my Watch 2. These guys are so into ‘innovation’ mode that the basics are passed over. I think it is disgraceful and you need to clean up your settings and soon. There is now a decent setting for Huawei to come on in and take over market share. I have been a Google phone fan for a long time (this is my third one) but at this speed I am switching to Huawei the next time around. 

So my life is a little in turmoil, because if it ain’t broke don’t fix it and I need to fix a lot at present and that is never good for my peace of mind. In addition to all this Al Jazeera gives us ‘Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia could activate defence pact, Pakistan says’ as such there is less stability coming our ways and whilst we get the Guardian giving its a few hours ago ‘Houthis seize key Yemeni port of Mocha in drive to take control of Red Sea coast’ there is now an option for Iran to resupply Houthi terrorists, as such I think there is a decent setting that the Mecca defence pact will see activation. I am happy that I gave my harbour solution to Saudi Arabia as well, as such they could shut it down completely (and leave the Iranian smugglers out of options. But the setting isn’t that Houthi terrorists got a harbour. It becomes who else is supplying these Houthi terrorists, because as I see it, the map is all wring, this cannot be a simple Iranian ploy, or at least not only. There is another player in these town aiding these terrorists. 

But what is really happening there? As I see it, there is too little and Iran cannot be in this alone, someone is ‘aiding’ the Houthi terrorists. So as I see it, the defense pact that is in place might be more important than anyone thinks and It is my believe that this pact should aid Saudi Arabia. There is a simple setting to this. The Wall Street Journal gave us ‘Trump’s Top Advisers Confront Possibility That Iran War Lasts Through End of Term’ less than 20 hours ago. And after President Trump has given the world that ‘he’ won that war over 66 times, there is a smallest chance that the Iran war is one the United States might lose and at that point Saudi Arabia and the rest of the gulf states might get the impact of that shown at their borders. As such the pressure needs to be removed between the Yemeni borders in the form of Houthi terrorist and this defense pact might be the solution. As I see it, Saudi Arabia cannot count on anything coming from the United States. At Present we see that President Trump is offering $5000 dollars to anyone if he winds the midterms. That could be up to 200,000,000 time $5000, which boils down to a cool trillion and I am not certain if the coffers of the United States treasury could validate this. This is beside the point whether the would be legal, because as I see it, in the Commonwealth it is illegal as it is illegal in plenty of civil law counties in Europe, but I am not versatile in US Laws, but I reckon it could be illegal there too. So what do you do with a president who advocates optional illegal acts? As such the Mecca defense agreement might be what Saudi Arabia needs to rely on at present. 

As such I am in turmoil, or at least my life is, things go wrong all over the place and the people we rely on are nowhere to be seen. I am partially appalled with the politicians in the United Kingdom and Australia to stay silent in case of the trade war between Canada and the United States. It is me personal believe that these commonwealth nations need to speak out in favour of Canada. And whilst Rolling Stone steps up their game by giving us ‘How Mark Carney became leader of the free world by standing up to Trump’, it seems that Australia and the UK remain largely silent and all along Trump gives us some news on beating up Mark Carney as a Hockey player (all whilst others give us news that unlike PM Carney, Trump cannot hold himself on the ice on skates) and Trump is giving us the entire North America, and Greenland drenched in the US flag. And there is limited news on all of this. That might be the most unsettling side of it all. As I personally see it, Carney is the PM of the entire Commonwealth as I see it and it is my personal believe that PM Carney is due a massive knighthood (Order of the Garter) from Charles III, King of the United Kingdom I reckon that he is worthy of this in the very least. So much turmoil and I am not the only one saying this, there are more that give similar views. But as I see it, the politicians in the Commonwealth remain largely quit. It is embarrassing to say the least. As such it is my delight to wave of some of that stress by slapping Sundar Pichai silly (with words) and it is the smallest of stress settings that I am seeing at present. But tomorrow (which is already now) so a few hours form now, the sun might come up and Google might fix a few things, because I paid good money ahead of schedule (my phone could have survived another year, my Google watch 2 probably not) So as I see it, stress is what we make, with additional help form the surrounding settings we see.

Oink, oink school.

Yes, it is about a school with a winged boar, also known as Hogwarts. I am rewatching (yet again) the 8 movies. Not sure what HBO is bringing us and it will be a while before we get that on Blu-ray/4K, but there it is. And as I was considering a few options to add to the merchandise I got to thinking. The idea of something long term could be used in conjunction with other settings. 

So when I think calendar, I still think of the Lotus Organizer, I had to on Windows 3.1, since then we have had Windows95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 7, Windows Vista and at least 2 more and nothing ever beat Lotus Organizer, worse for the matter, nothing ever came close. 

So whilst BI people look at outlook, they kinda missed the mark. At that same time Google has a more comfortable calendar, more intuitive and then it started to hit me. What if the Lotus Organizer was remastered/relaunched/reset into a new Organizer, but one with a lot of added choices. Set to Hogwarts, 1 of 4 houses, a separate setting (often personal) and it comes with options, with options to have ‘Hogwarts events’ added to your calendar Hogwarts and house specific settings. It is after all meant for the Wizarding world savvy kids, but one that is also meant for adults. 

There is an additional upscaling issue for Miral, when you are in a place, or planning to be somewhere, you can mark its in your calendar and the calendar can (if you desire) get added events tagged there and not just for the UAE, when you are in any place (New York, London, Paris, Munich) those are but few and as these additions are made, your Mon-Sun calendar will look a lot less empty. There is more, the anniversary and planner settings could also be filled with Hogwarts events and settings. But the idea to create an organizer that is not set to the  needs of Google, Microsoft, IBM and a few other sides might beneficial to Miral and to the UAE. Still, that was not my first priority. My first priority was to redesign a Hogwarts ‘friendly’ calendar. Like to old school calendar that we all had (an optionally loved). The setting is ready as Hogwarts is starting year 1 (yet again) and as I read they are starting filming year 2. As Miral isn’t opening Hogwarts Abu Dhabi until 2029, their departments have plenty of time to create a ‘better’ calendar. This calendar should interact with all the calendars you could have. Google, Microsoft and whatever else is out there. Giving you the option to make the interactions bi directional when they are linked, so that both are correctly updated. And as it gives the school going population a nice addition, this calendar should be on Computer (Mac/PC), tablet and mobile. It also gives Miral the setting to get spread into the Larger Huawei population giving traction and spreading the love (I meant the traction to a much larger population) so whilst the BI people are dead set on proclaiming they do not need Huawei, or Chinese goods. But it is represented by over 3,000,000,000 users over 170 countries. As such there is a need to exploit this situation in the best (and most customer friendly) way around. These gaps are showing up and as I see it (and as Lotus Organizer) was such a good product, there is a point of entry to the consumers at large and there are hundreds of millions of Harry Potter enthusiasts/fans a perfect match for Miral and they have time to get everything ready. This is but the top of the marker. Hogwarts is an 7 year (season)  enterprise and it is important that this is done right and my shot for the hoops (without a second dribble) is to reinvent a good idea to a great idea, one that aligns with the internet of things and see what the innovations of Huawei could bring Miral a consumer base of billions. And even if this setting doesn’t work out, it will provide a customer interest spanning 170 countries and as I see it, Huawei would also need that traction. A match made in the boardrooms everywhere. 
But this is only top of mind thinking. So I wish Miral all the luck in creating the upcoming merchandise. 

There is more
But this is not the only idea, the next one is for Saudi Arabia as they are now the owned of Electronic Arts. EA created in 1988 Battle Chess, it was a cool and decent Chess computer. Wouldn’t it be great if the was rereleased with an additional skin? A wizards chess skin should do that trick, as such the original game might need some tweaking in the graphics department so that it might fit tablets and laptops. There could be some additional tweaks could be made, so that there is an option to play with another person through an internet and or email link. Some people are driven to chess, but perhaps one move per cycle and that cycle could be set to hours, up to a day with a option to freeze the progression (for weekend and other settings) so as we consider that these are merely two options that are set to a larger option for Miral. Optionally they could make a deal with Saudi Arabia to be an exclusive dealer for the Hogwarts theme parks. 

So, in a day I found two additional merchant dish options and one has several additional options coming their way, especially if they could set the larger stage with Huawei. So whilst everyone is jumping at the setting of ‘Canada braces for prolonged trade war as counter-tariffs on US take effect’ I took the time to find more avenues of revenue and I decided to find other venues that most aren’ considering. Aren’t I clever?

A literary question

That is what I saw this morning. Ekathimirini (at https://www.ekathimerini.com/culture/1314309/how-do-you-teach-the-odyssey-to-a-12-year-old/) gave us an interesting question. ‘How do you teach ‘The Odyssey’ to a 12-year-old?’and I have an optionally better one. Where is the literature for the young? I am not talking about children’s books, but the need to keep the young at the edge of their seats and knowledge has been largely abandoned. I actually touched on the subject 1-2 years ago when I wrote my first film script, it was called ‘How to assassinate a politician’ and I considered down the track that it was too long and gave it the alternative title ‘Essay’ I offered it to the Dubai Media Corporation who was not interested (fair enough). The story is set in the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia (Dammam) and I touched on the setting of children’s literature, although I wasn’t doing it aware or intentional. The setting was a film script and that was what is was. It was my first film script. There is plenty of literature for the young. The two most famous writers are JRR Tolkien (the Hobbit) and JK Rowling about a boy with his scar (aka Harry Potter) and now a new generation will get that influx of near perfection in the upcoming HBO TV series. There are others, the Netherlands has Anne de Vries ‘Journey through the night’ and Jan Terlouw with Oorlogswinter (Winter in Wartime), but there are the ‘classics’ from Hector Malot who wrote Nobody’s Boy in 1878. There is a gap and it needs to be filled fast. There are new writers and Rowling might be the most famous one, but she is not alone, still the harvest on literature for the young is meek, very meek. So, as I saw the article, I kinda rejoiced, because that might be the start of a new generation of literature for the young. 

As we see “When, in 2018, BBC Culture asked 108 writers, academics, critics, journalists and translators from 35 countries to choose the stories that shaped the world, Homer’s Odyssey came in first place. Among the reasons cited by participants were the power of a story full of gods and monsters, its influence on the narratives that followed, but also the questions the work still raises about heroism, war and homecoming. Almost three millennia after it was written, The Odyssey continues to be read, adapted and giving birth to new narratives.” And the larger issue is shown with ““When the Odyssey is taught in the classroom, it often loses its narrative momentum. It is broken up into small fragments, interrupted by constant questions and loaded with terms, figures of speech and ‘correct’ interpretations,” says Dr Christos Tsagalis, professor of Ancient Greek Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, who has been studying Homeric poetry for years. “Thus, the child stops wondering what will happen next and starts wondering what he needs to memorize.”” And the next issue pops up with ‘Did they watch the movie, or actually read the story? Pops up in me. As for Harry Potter, I might be one of the few people who saw the movie before reading the book. I was attending a showing of Sleepy Hollow in Stockholm when I was given a teaser. I heard the words “There is no such thing as magic!” and the entire audience went insane. That was my introduction to Harry Potter and after seeing the movie I read the first novel. Thinking  “Kids read this?” I had heard of Harry Potter, I have friends and they have kids. So the name was familiar, but nothing more than that. So as we now see ““I would put the narrative at the center, not the quiz tests,” answers Tsagalis. “The students would first learn the entire course of the journey through a short, well-crafted narrative map and then delve into selected episodes. I would combine reading aloud, dramatization, journey mapping, creative writing and discussion about hospitality, loss, the desire to return and the responsibility of one’s choices.” By the end of the school year, “every child should have read the prologue, basic parts of Telemachy, Calypso and Nausicaa, the Cyclops, Circe, Nekyia, the Sirens, Penelope’s recognition of Odysseus, the slaying of the suitors, and the final reconciliation,” he continues. More than memorizing individual episodes, it is more important to have the overall picture. “Most importantly, being able to understand the coherence of the story and being able to narrate how suffering transforms people.”” I am willing to go with Rowling and Tolkien as storytellers. There is even the idea of other writers having a firm grasp of these settings, but Homer was largely meant to be orated in the Theater of Epidaurus (or something likewise) and the world moved on (not in a good way), don’t get me wrong, the world needs its share of mindless drones and they can get their jollies filled with writings from ChatGPT. But if we are to protect the next generations of leaders and insightful people, we will need to create literature for you young and someone needs to take over from JK Rowling. And If you want to stay in the greek phase, we have Rick Riordan and the Burton fans could look towards Ransom Riggs who wrote an entire chain of books starting with Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. But the settings of Hector Malot and likeminded people is seemingly lost and that could be resolved by todays writers. Creativity is key in all this (which is why ChatGPT will never be a solution) and it was never my cup of tea, I have my own style, but what style appeases the youthful reader? 

It is a question that is meant to be resolved by actually smart people (which leaves me out of that equation). I believe that writing or narrating Homer for the Young is a path that is worthy of exploiting for some, but so are the writings of Aurelius and Virgil if we want to steer clear of Greek writings. There are plenty of writings to be found all over Europe and that is also the curse. You see, Hollywood changed the bulk of those seeking funding and there is no criticism here from me, those were the times that brought the books to the audience. But the original works suffered through them and they need to be rediscovered and as I see it, the path of literature for the young might be a worthy new path to take to reintroduce these original writings. But what is the best path? I am not the one to tell anyone what the best path is, there is no best path, I think there is only a most complete path the align to. Because writings and opinions are two of the most versatile settings anyone will ever seen. And I think that Clint Eastwood had that one right (or his scriptwriter) “Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one” but we can agree that there is a more or mostly complete path to introducing literature to the young and that could also be done through new and original IP (taking ChatGPT out of that equation). 

The best path out there and someone will find it or write about it. I don’t feel that I am wise enough to be the one to do that. But the question remains and it is a good one “How do you teach ‘The Odyssey’ to a 12-year-old?”, I merely appreciate ‘How to create literature for the young’ a little more, Homer was yesterday (actually it was 1,032,196 yesterdays ago), we can and should keep these works in the highest regard, but we also need todays literature to appease the young and that takes creativity and a writer that is a little more today, unlike Homer, Aurelius, and a few others. So the question that Ekathimirini voices is pretty true, but there is more and that needs to be addressed too, preferably before most of our youth has become too stupid to care.
