Growth

Growth, we all seek it, in mind, in business, and in setting and there is a stage that is evolving at present. The Guardian reported early this morning ‘Record warm winter in parts of Europe forces closure of ski slopes’ (at https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jan/04/warmest-january-ever-forces-ski-slopes-across-europe-to-close). Now there is the expression that one swallow is no identification of Summer. Yet there is no guarantee that next year will be better. Consider the stages France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. That is a stage that gives them a pool over well over 2 million people who do want snow, who want to taste the slopes. They will soon need to seek or at least consider other venues. In the Northern Hemisphere that gives them Norway, Canada and China. Finland has a lack of mountains, as does Sweden. Norway can grow as can Canada. I reckon that there are too many anti-China sentiments at present. Norway and Canada have good vibes on the slopes and I reckon it is time for them to consider new settings. Some places in Norway can grow, but they will need at least one more place for now, as does Canada. Yes Whistler is a great destination, but it is overcrowded. The 2022/2023 movies are mostly ab out the horrendous waiting times, the amount of people trying to get up. Whistler is full and Canada either creates an additional place where the people now going to Whistler can g, or bleed tourists to other nations. I reckon that they will see that another Canadian field (most likely in British Columbia) makes sense. There have been abandoned places (near Calgary) that offer a good setting, yet that stage need work as well as anything new. Every field will grow, but only if all the amenities are there. The same for Norway, who is seen as an excellent place to visit, but the call of Whistler is strong. So, as I see it They both have good chances, but the one with a better option and a cheaper one (Whistler is really expensive) will get that cluster of people. So there is risk. If a strong winter gets back in the next year, their issues are saved (France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy), if not the early bird will get the collection of worms and it will be a lot more than mere thousands. Thi will affect plane travel as well as accomodations. There is of course a lot more and even as I cannot give you all the answers, there is clear place to grow, not merely to get the overrun to Whistler, the failing of places we never expected to fail will call for more answers, some we might never get. But the overwhelming stage is that snow is lacking in places where it should not and the places that could benefit might never have seen this coming.

That is not on them, but next year will be and there they need to find ways to either take the risk that they miss out, or see what they could get because a group of millions of tourists in this day and age is a strong call. Personally I have no interest, but there is a second stage, one that is not a given. We can get that Paris and Milan–Cortina d’Ampezzo are places currently set for the Olympics. I hope it goes well, but if this bad winter stage continues, someone has to step in. Who? That is anybodies guess. But there is room to grow for several reasons and several places will have the option to grow, will they take it? I cannot tell, but even if there is added revenue, it comes with a decent amount of risk. No one denies that, but no one saw the really bad snow weather of this season come, especially when places like Canada is drowning in the stuff.

Plough through the middle

That is where I find myself. There are two issues on my mind. The first is that I have a definite plot twist for Residuam Vitam (the plot is isn’t everything) but it still matter to the story to have that twist, the ploy no one sees in the beginning and when you ponder it it will make sense. It is like that theft, where in the end things seemingly go sideways, but only if you see it from one side, the other side is the one many overlook. That is where I was.

As such
Ereshkigal was pondering the field she stood in, she saw from here to almost eternity and the field was in disarray. It was the nuance she saw and she had been staring at that nuance since the beginning of time. So she saw any item out of place and the field was starting to skew, it did not take her long to see how it was skewing and something had to be done. She focussed for a mere fraction of a moment and that was all that was needed. As she was looking at the field something walked into her existence. It was Tia that appeared. Tia looked around, she had been here before, but to be asked to come was new to her. She bowed to Ereshkigal. Ereshkigal pointed at the field and asked ‘What do you see?’ Tia looked around and saw the field, she saw all that was and she saw the edges of what was now. She looked again and stared more intensely now. She saw nothing, she saw the patterns, she saw the colours and she saw what as once the people and then she saw the introduction of some sort of cacophony. It was the best she could see. She responded ‘Some form of chaos, a cacophony of sorts’ Ereshkigal nodded. A chaos through absence and even as I am not yet clear on the how and who are involved, the creation of this chaos will have larger impact to all of us, we must act. She then stared at Tia and told her what must be done and who was chosen for this. ‘Do you agree?’ Tia had to think it over for a moment. She was aware on interactions, she had done it many times, but now it was a rare event that involved a living person, a person linked to the Huron spirit no less. She nodded to Ereshkigal. ‘It will be done’ and Tia vanished.

It was the deep of darkness, it was around 03:30, the detective was asleep, but suddenly she wasn’t really asleep anymore. She was asleep lying in her bed watching herself and a man in a chair next to it. The man spoke, hello little utehke, the voice spoke out and she recognised the voice of her father who left her many years ago, so she knew she was asleep, but the bedroom was perfect, with the extra man. Father? She asked. No little utehke, but he is what you see. He joined me a long time ago. Listen for there is little time. There is something happening and it is impacting all lives. I cannot tell you specifics, but I can help. Be calm now, this does not hurt, but it will not be comfortable. And with that the detective suddenly felt noxious, she saw the hand of her father in her head and slowly it felt like it was in her head. Then the head slowly retracted. Sleep now, you feel better soon. You will see more now and it will help you, it might even save you. Learn first do not act rash, too much relies on it and slowly the room where she was watching herself was dissolving and the room turned black and she fell in a deep sleep, unaware what was happening around her. She was for all intent and purpose dead for the smallest moment of time and in that moment another world was revealed to her and she saw almost everything. But the mind, the mortal mind does not like that view and the mind protected itself in the only way it knew. It closed off and reset itself and in that moment the new flavours of mortality invaded her mind and took root in her where the mind, the eye, the ear and the nose met. And she continued on the dreamless sleep she started on, a little different, but still the detective she once was.

What is wealth?
It is the second part that has also occupying my mind. It was given to us by the BBC (at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-64142662) where we get ‘Third of world in recession this year, IMF head warns’ there is an issue (I always will have at least one) and lets have that summary.

It comes as the war in Ukraine, rising prices, higher interest rates and the spread of Covid in China weigh on the global economy.” Yes they are elements, but the war in the Ukraine will mostly affect Russia and Ukraine most of all, not much more beyond that. Well, more on the Russians as they lose more and more of its citizens. As such I have issues with “We expect one third of the world economy to be in recession”, as such my automated answer is ‘What third’ Which nations? And the shallow “Even countries that are not in recession, it would feel like recession for hundreds of millions of people”, so now we add ‘feels like recession’? Why is that? What is really happening? What are you the procrastinating source for? Then we get “China, the world’s second largest economy, would face a difficult start to 2023” there is another issue. I am not saying that this is not the case, I have no data to counter that, but China has been playing a long game and that is a different kind of fish. Now that it is reeling in commerce gains from Saudi Arabia and optionally Egypt as well, the silk road is getting primed for completion. A new stage of commercial China that we were warned about and it is getting her faster because stupid people (UK and US) played the wrong game and now that China is moving in these two players are missing out on dozens of billions for their economy and it goes straight to China. That I saw two years ago (perhaps three) but these two players were all about how wrong I was and how it would not go there. As such no one saw the danger when Al Jazeera gave us three weeks ago ‘China, Saudi Arabia cement ties with deals including Huawei’ whatever the west gave us was emotional mumbo jumbo with trivialisation, as well as ‘How Saudi Arabia’s crown prince snubbed Biden repeatedly to forge ties with authoritarian China and Russia’ a mere two days ago which came from Business Insider. And the voice of Jon Alterman adds “they both agree that a unipolar world led by the United States would undermine their interests” a United States trivialised by one simple sentence and China is stepping in. The US and the UK made it happen, they catered to idiots (in case of the UK that would be the CAAT) and there are a few in the US. It led to a shift of well over $35,000,000,000 in funds from both towards China and that is merely the beginning.

The 5G stages that are Huawei are now finding its stage through China and as I see it Egypt is a new choice as well, it now sets the Huawei 5G stage going West of Egypt to East of Saudi Arabia in one nice swoop and Saudi Arabia is about to own it all (via STC that is). When I mentioned that STC would be a force to watch in 5G two years ago people telecom people no less, called me a joke, a freaking joke no less and that is no longer the case, this is about to happen and when the data centres are added Saudi Arabia officially becomes a power player in 5G and on the world stage. The STC what was initially a 35 million group and as such ignored by too many is about to become a voice will well over 175,000,000 people attached for data and voice making it well over twice the size of British Telecom and that is merely the start, when this connects to Neom the damage will add and add and it takes power away from US, UK and European players and I reckon that by 2026 the electronic show in Germany has STC as a main attraction and at that point the growth will really start. Ahead of the 2030 vision Saudi Arabia will be making its international mark in several market places and it was all due to stupid people. When they had an option they were all high and mighty with voices like ‘They will always need us’ but that stage is now hanging, that is now becoming yesterday’s news and whilst these people will try to ‘persuade’ Saudi customers to some kind of bauble race, China will add real value to the table and that race will conclude with the Americans staring at some wooden spoon and no recourse left.

Here is my issue. As we see “The IMF is an international organisation with 190 member countries. They work together to try to stabilise the global economy. One of its key roles is to act as an early economic warning system” is seemingly incorrect. I would alter it into “The IMF is an international organisation with 190 member countries. They work together to try to stabilise the global economy for the US and EU as much as possible. One of its key roles is to act as an early economic warning system when its friends are threatened” and then we consider “For the next couple of months, it would be tough for China, and the impact on Chinese growth would be negative, the impact on the region will be negative, the impact on global growth will be negative” and my response would be, no toots (Kristalina Georgieva), you saw it wrong, the data you present is correct, it is the gains that follow that makes China the winner, and these gains are not part of anything you present are they? It was the long game and the Chinese are really good at their long game. So where is the European response to the Silk Road, that news you catered to months ago on how there was an answer. There was none and now you are against a wall with nowhere to go but some cushy retirement place and watch the changing of the guards as China becomes the new president of that world economy. You played the wrong game, you catered to the stupid voices and China was fine with that because they had time. The Huawei/Saudi link wasn’t ready but now that it is the stage changes by a lot and still that link is well over 500% faster than anything the US has to offer and that difference will tilt the economic scales by a lot, and I reckon that the first companies will change to a better setting soon thereafter. I reckon that it takes less than 10% of these companies to change ‘some loss’ to critical recession points, and there is an upside. I saw and wrote about it two years ago, so there will be a record and I get to slap you with it every time around. Because these ‘voices’ with claims need to be set into the limelight and with every answer in the trend of ‘It is difficult’ I will gain a step on that ladder and whenever they rely on ‘There were miscommunications’ I gain two steps. It was never rocket science, it was about the reality of data, not the story these people gave their shareholders. And to illustrate that part reconsider what I wrote yesterday and now consider two hints “Orson Welles” and “1975”, now that tory takes a massive turn to the right, does it not? To do the game of peekaboo with an actual ghost is a lot more satisfying. There is nothing like a gasser whilst the other person has a cardiac arrest in the process. Try it, it is so satisfying.

Waterfall

It started this morning, actually it started last night. I have been working on a new premise in gaming IP. It is the merging of old ideas into a new game. Whilst that Westworld game was pulled as it was a weak copy of Fallout Shelter. I had already maximised that premise, but now no longer on the Westworld theme (they bashed their own window of opportunity). It is the stage where we create a new game (for example) on the foundation of Fallout shelter and Dungeon Keeper to create a new game that is themed to Blade (mere example). You control Blade and if there is no support you will get overrun over time. Yet like in the Dungeon Keeper game when we create certain rooms and rooms of certain sizes we get new troops, troops that support Blade. For example when we get the medical room and it is larger than 3×3 we get a new medic every few minutes. The medic dispenses serum for Blade to keep his humanity, if the Kitchen is large enough, there is enough food for Blade to regenerate faster. Instead of the flat presentation of a flat stage, the presentation of the house is isometric. And as we safe more people, the population of the safe house improves and we have more tinkerers to upgrade the house and more rooms, optionally create basements with even more rooms. Considering that there will be a new Blade movie in 2024, the timing is god enough to start now (hint hint). And this is merely one of several thoughts. Some extend to older (CBM64) games. Some extent to the newer versions (Atari ST/CBM Amiga). We seem to squander in the same directions, but what of the side roads available to all? Many are taking the same road, optionally fuelled by “Most historians consider the sermon preached by Pope Urban II at Clermont-Ferrand in November 1095 to have been the spark that fuelled a wave of military campaigns to wrest the Holy Land from Muslim control”, yet many forget that greed took over, ego took over and short sightedness took over and as such we forget stages like Louis I of Anjou and his inherited claim to the Kingdom of Jerusalem. That part is not important right now, but it shows a larger stage of games that we forgot about and could be changed to fit the premise around 1387. So when we consider the new Blade game and we see what sort of support he ‘had’ we can set a new stage where the support is essential in making Blade successful. Like traits he gains, but these traits will need some sort of support and until we create that setting (like the forts in Magic Carpet, but place such a fortress in Oblivion), we get new games with new tasks and quests. A few years ago I used the premise of Battlehorn Castle and created the setting of a dozen of quests that gives the castle serious teeth. That setting can be applied nearly everywhere and we can use quests to merely give the person more to do, or we can create a pool of support. It was the foundation for Elder Scrolls VII: Restoration (seek the blog elsewhere, around 2018), all settings that can be applied to new games on streaming systems and Google never caught on and optionally Amazon did not take that path seriously as they rely on now mediocre Ubisoft to do the work for them, but as such they are losing out of billions because the market moved on and now it seems that Tencent is catching on and they are not wasting time.

We can speculate and tinker all we can, but take 3 games Outrun, Pole position and Ultimate racing. Now combine them in an outrun look, with larger pole position blockades (tyres) and make it optional for design through an ultimate racing look. You now have a new piece of IP that combined is different enough to become new IP and many parts will not have IP protection. This took 10 minutes and You have another streaming game, like the dozen or so other titles I placed on my blog. Amazon had the making of 1-2 dozen additional new games and they just aren’t seeing the light. Add to this the new era of safe space and you see why Tencent becomes a danger to all streamers, they are catching on and they are catching on fast. The world does not wait for the big players (Google and Amazon) to catch on. You can trivialise what I wrote about all you want, but Tencent will not care, they are moving ahead and they are now primed to win. You think a wannabe like Microsoft can counter that? They want to leech from Tencent because it is easier and cheaper and just like that 3 out of 7 elements go to China. So when you see ‘Australia needs a long-term strategy to combat IP theft’ (source: ASPI) only part of it is true and it is true to some technologists in China. The larger stage is that the west became flaccid, lazy and content. The content Neanderthal got eaten by a dinosaur in the old days, I thought they had caught on by now, but they did not.

I placed PD solutions on my blog. A 5G wearable solution is encrypted on 4Chan and becomes fetch able (by clever people only) on December 31st. There is a reason, attached to that are at least 3 solutions which I keep and it will drive IP value up. I am not completely mental (duh!!). Yet the larger stage is not that I am so clever (it could be), but the fact that I got there before Google, before Amazon, before IBM and before Apple (they have a decent excuse). They should have been where I was two years ago and they were not.

That is the setting no one is looking at, the side road ignored. Not what they could have had (well over $20 billion in revenue a year) no, they merely report on contracting economies and as I see it, it is because they hope for one more run with a horse that is regarded as too old and too tired. The new stage is ignored for too long and Tencent is (as I presume, based on certain parts) catching on. So there is another venue of revenue the west is losing to China. Why is that?

The waterfall is not merely lost because the location is not given, it is lost because the source of that water is not comprehended (or located), a loss ten times more dangerous. I always speculated that it was because too many relied on a population that lived by ‘fake it until you make it’. It might be a sales technique, but those fakers also will not know where to look at when it matters and they are all looking at each other whilst I saw the changing landscape and saw where the new business would be growing.

So look where no one else is looking and see what can be made of that terrain. You might find a nugget or two in the process as well.

Not the composer

It started yesterday, I saw the news, shrugged a little and moved on. It was not that the news wasn’t worthy. It could be, but I have priorities and as such it wasn’t one of mine. I had other things to look at and I do have limits, I cannot push 3700 seconds into an hour, only delusional people do that. Time is a barrier, one that I accept and I need to find ways within the time allotted. So this morning (02:20) I suddenly realised something that wasn’t clearly seen initially. But my mind caught on, lets see if you realise what I initially missed and a lot of people missed it as well. The article ‘North Korea sold arms to Russia’s Wagner group, US says’ (at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-64072570), it is there that we see “Fighters from the mercenary group have ballooned from 1,000 to nearly 20,000 in Ukraine, the UK government says. “Wagner is searching around the world for arms suppliers to support its military operations in Ukraine,” White House national security spokesman John Kirby told reporters.

  1. In the first we see the growth to 20,000 men, it seems that the Russian army can no longer match the losses that they are facing. Not only are they relying on mercenaries, the stage is growing from there.
  2. The fact that they are searching ‘around the world’ implies that military hardware is even less dependable, less in numbers and less operational than ever thought before. It shows that the military arm of Russia is failing on too many factors, but somehow 68 oligarchs are filling their pockets all over the place. Lets consider that greed is rampant in Russia and the military side is feeling that impact by being less than operational.
  3. North Korea is shipping hardware. A nation that has one language, Korean. There is either a translation service, or there are instructors involved. These two options are open. I reckon that the instructors are Russian instructors in Korea learning what they can, but that also implies that Russia either depleted its infantry rockets, or that they are even less operational in that count. I would speculate the second, but it is speculation.

As such we also get “Mr Kirby said Wagner is spending more than $100 million (£82 million) each month in Ukraine.” And “The fact that President (Vladimir) Putin is turning to North Korea for help is a sign of Russia’s desperation and isolation”, the first is simple, the second is a lot less clear and I do not completely agree with it. It is not desperation, it seems it is merely the only avenue left to them at present. I reckon that any depletion there is a silent blessing for China and then there is the spending. If Wagner is spending $100 million a month, they are getting close to $2 billion a year. And the west better figure out where these people are sending the surplus, because that money might get earmarked for other needs soon enough. Russia is not stupid, if they lose to this degree, they will need some kind of victory, any victory and the media is aware of it, they merely haven’t connected the dots yet. And it is important to see all the dots that are connectable.

In this we can speculate all we want, but we need to find the data and the fact that the Wagner group gets this amount to spend implies there is a lot more, greed is eternal, it always is and even if they aren’t driven by greed there will be an operational impact. Where? Your guess is as good as mine, but realise that a player like Russia will not easily accept defeat, they want to make sure the other player bleeds a lot more and the missile attacks aren’t getting it done. They will lash out in other directions too. Places like Finland, Estonia and Latvia make sense, but there is no way that this can be predicted. There is also the events in Africa and Russia might seek destabilisation there too. Yet in the end we will have to wait and see what will happen. We can give additional weight to ‘German intelligence service employee arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia’, it will not be helpful. Yes, there is every indication that this is right, but that falls into the folder that is labeled ‘Business as usual’ not more than that. Yet the idea that the Wagner group has well over $500 million to spend and it remains (for now) beneath the surface is a problem. The amount of money will enable too many to do too much damage, as such it needs to be investigated.

The question remains

I got news about 10 hours ago from Al Arabiya. There we are given ‘Saudi Arabia approves draft agreements on atomic energy, economic crime’ (at https://english.alarabiya.net/News/saudi-arabia/2022/12/21/Saudi-Arabia-approves-draft-agreements-on-atomic-energy-economic-crime)

The article gives us a few items that require the limelight, even as the western papers give it no attention, the event described here is one with a lit of impact.

  • members approved a framework agreement to cooperate with Morocco in “the field of peaceful uses of atomic energy”
  • a draft Memorandum of Understanding with Uzbekistan to help allow the countries to exchange of information “related to money laundering, terrorist financing and related crimes,”
  • a draft agreement with Greece, to foster cooperation in health between the countries,
  • a draft agreement with Italy to help encourage direct investments between the countries, and a draft agreement with Ghana to develop non-oil exports between the states.

These are the four big ones, there are four more. And when you consider the map, we see that within a year the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be the largest economic partner for the important parts of North Africa, Egypt, Morocco and as ties are stronger connected with Tel Aviv, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is now the powerhouse in the Mediterranean. Greece, Italy and soon better ties with Turkey. This was always going to happen, I predicted it, but my view was that this was 3-4 years away. It seems I missed the target by at least 2 years. 2023 will open the doors and I reckon that larger gains will be Made in 2024. Saudi Arabia is now in a setting where it will be able to drive commerce that is not oil based soon enough and stronger than ever before.

And that is before you see the steps that China is opening up, but it also implies that China is a lot stronger to become the defence dealer of choice, billions and billions of dollars that are about to be lost to the EU and US. I warned them that this was coming and now the steps of making sure it happens will become a reality. It does not make me happy as I miss out on my 3.75% bonus check and on $27,800,000,000 that is a lofty loss. Such is life!

Now there is a second stage in play, the article does not bear it out, but I reckon that the Kingdom Holding Company will get a few other options going their way. I do not know how, but the Kingdom loves partners in this (I learned that at the Saudi Consulate several weeks ago). What is in play is that there are several options for Israeli growth. Not just the NSO group, but NICE with their CXone platform will set a larger stage of cloud centres for the Line and Neom. From there as they make their solution more Arabic, they will get a handle on several fields in several nations. And we all see the stages as they evolve, well that is if you read English Saudi News casts, the west seems to filter it away and when we see too much of this, it becomes a joke what the west is and has been the last decade. Filtering news information was never a good idea and you are about to see why. Saudi Arabia is active in growing business in Egypt, Morocco, Greece, Italy, Indonesia, and China. Consider the loss of revenue for the EU and the US? Is no one asking questions? And this is merely what can be seen for 2023. I reckon that several nations will go into crises mode in the next week, because some of them were moved from consideration column A to column C. Only a blind person ignores is and one with an oversized ego ignores it. When will we learn that we cater to the players who have it and the US doesn’t have it, and the EU has even less at present. There is every indication that by 2025 the Saudi Telecom Company will be the biggest player in North Africa and the Middle East. This will have larger implications when Indonesia is added to that network. It was a simple cascade stage and it is about to become a reality. From there there is every chance that the STC will enter Europe as a new player and one wielding a formidable bat. That is what I see as optional changes. So whilst we see the EU and US with contracting economies, we get to see another one grow and it is about to grow by a lot.

Have fun!

Dopey and Grumpy, still dwarves

That is the setting and it is a strange setting, but it relates to ‘When it rains we call the kettle black’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2022/12/11/when-it-rains-we-call-the-kettle-black/) which I wrote two days ago. Yet I did not know there was more, and just now I come across ‘Saudi Arabia demanded defense firms set up in country by 2024. So far, most seem unmoved’ (at https://breakingdefense.com/2022/12/saudi-arabia-demanded-defense-firms-set-up-in-country-by-2024-so-far-most-seem-unmoved/), to be honest, I had heard some stuff in that direction, but I was unaware of how deep it went, and now I see “as long as it is related to the government contracts, they will have to have their regional headquarters here”, with the added “analysts said that the biggest players appear confident they can find workarounds — including the use of local partnerships and subsidiaries, as they’ve done in other countries — to keep the market open” and there the stupid factor comes into play. You see the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has had enough of fake allies, fake commitments and now China is ready to make commitments and as the KSA is moving towards the 2030 mark of 50% in country defence and China is willing to play nice, the US is set to lose a whole lot of revenue. So there is your workaround, greedy and stupid working in cahoots like Grumpy and Dopey, both sides of a currency that has no meaning where they are, it is the sales prospects that counts and they are giving it all to China. You can only be the biggest player if you sell and there were markers for sale events and now there is a clear understanding in strategic papers no less that China is moving into sales column A. So when we think through what Breaking Defense gave us on December 8th, the US better realise that the age of pretending to do something and doing something else as a workaround is ending and it is ending really quickly. So when we see the larger players like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon Technologies, Northrop Grumman, Leonardo, Thales, and General Dynamics. What happens when the representative $27,000,000,000 goes to China? Twenty Seven Billion no longer to the US, the dollar will take another dive and more importantly, the design of their stealth planes required some Saudi Funds, when they go to the Chengdu J-20, the impact will be seen all over the US, EU and NATO. I made mention of these dangers as early as September 2021. The fact that some American Fat Cats were playing stupid with a customer paying billions is a little new, but there is no surpassing the union of stupid and ego, it makes for a nice package, one that China could be enjoying a lot more than they figured on. And there is a chance that the strategic union between Saudi Arabia and China will go that far. Not only will the US lose their Middle East stage, they will in that same action lose whatever benefits they had in Egypt as well. And just to remind you on a speculative side. If China buys in this deal 2 million barrels a day from the American stack, the US is in deep manure. It does make the grass grow in Texas, but that is pretty much all it does.

As such the last week has given us all kinds of revelations via several media sources. But the larger news is that State secretary Pompeo gives us ‘Xi’s visit to Saudi Arabia a result of “bad American policy”’ and the bad news merely stacks. Yes Saudi Arabia is not squandering the connections with the US, their words and they are right. The US themselves are squandering it to China by playing chicken with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to appease their ego’s, and that is what is clearly in place and will shown over the next 13 months. You see, there will not be any 11th hour changes, if these regional HQ’s are not in place by December 2023 China will end up with a massive chunk of Saudi defence spending. China is happy with it, will the US be? I doubt it, but they catered to ego, so there you have it. It does not matter who Dopey and Grumpy are, in the end they were merely dwarves and as I see it, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is willing to make a large change and it will cost the US, it will cost them so much. I wonder how they will spin this loss, because at present that is exactly what it will become. A loss to their ally list, a loss to their economy and a loss of income. All handed to China for the mere satisfaction of ego. Government handed partnerships to players like Microsoft, Sony, Samsung and a few other players for the cumulative sum of a mere 1% of that, did you think the Saudi Government wasn’t keeping tabs? Silly bunnies!

When it rains we call the kettle black

Yup an amalgamation of expressions and in this case it is a little more applicable than expected. You see a mere 11 hours ago I wrote in ‘Ruler of law goes metric’ “should the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia want it and limit the shipments of Crude Oil by an additional mere 1 million barrels a day, the US will explode in a stage of anarchy” (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2022/12/10/ruler-of-law-goes-metric/) and 7 hours ago we get from the ABC ‘China promises to buy more Middle East oil, urges Arab leaders to replace the dollar with yuan’ (at https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-12-10/china-xi-promises-to-buy-more-mideast-oil/101757852), it isn’t a victory when the nightmare scenario starts, but this is what the US was facing all along. Several world leaders learned the hard way what happens when you start wars on multiple fronts. People like Napoleon Bonaparte, Adolf Hitler and Wilhelm 2 all learned that lesson the hard way. Now that the US has a stage with Russia, it had to play nice with Chine to some extent, but it was already too late. Huawei was fresh in China’s memory and the US did NEVER EVER produce clear reports of the dangers that Huawei was. They got tools to make similar claims and none of them produced evidence. Now China sees a way to get back at the US. You see, if China buys 2 million barrels a day the American goose will be cooked within 2 months in the middle of winter no less. This is part of the horrific result of giving Wall Street free rein and now there is no second stage, no escape. The US had clear options a year ago, now not that much and the few they have they are squandering on the wrong priorities. And it is a mere 42 minutes ago when China and Saudi Arabia signed a strategic deal, which now implies that Huawei would get free rein on technology adaption for the Line, that straight building that goes through Saudi Arabia and optionally a lot more in Neom. Did you really think I was out of my mind when I was willing to sell my 5G to Saudi Arabia? This is happening a year earlier than expected, but no one saw the Ukrainian war happen and even less saw it excelarate the way it did in the end. Now China has the option to make the impressions in Saudi Arabia and optionally soon in Egypt as well. I saw this coming and no one believed me, but there is a lot more to Neom than most see, because the US media kept on belittling it and now as the truth comes out we see knee jerk reactions and large claims of miscommunications, and that is not all, if the Yuan will be accepted as currency, the Yuan will get a tour of the Middle East and Africa giving a slam against the power of the Dollar. Now, that does not mean that the dollar ends, but there will be an impact and the dollar will take a hit. All this to a larger effect because certain people relied on ego and not on facts or true innovation. Feel free to read the article (at https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20221210-saudi-arabia-and-huawei-sign-strategic-deal/) with the added quote “The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) also reported that Chinese and Saudi companies had signed 34 investment agreements in clean energy, information technology, cloud computing services, transportation, construction and other sectors. The agency did not issue figures for the deals but confirmed earlier that the two countries would sign initial agreements worth $30 billion.” It seems to be a simple claim that might not go anywhere, yet the adaptation for net zero carbon data centre’s in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and optionally two additional places are now supporting that my initial IP had a lot more power in Saudi Arabia than even I suspected and this also elevates the options that the Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) has in several places. What was an optional annual revenue of $763 million could start with an 800% growth and leading to well over twice that amount in less than 5 years. Should these data centres become reality than there is a clear case that these centres will be bought by European players, they would not have a choice in the matter and the US claim of danger to national security will not go anywhere, they played that card already. So when it rains, it pours as well as the interaction of the pot calling the kettle black. Two players that were ready and the others were not.

It is in the end merely that simple.

The other white paper

Yes, there are always white papers, but which one is true? You see, they are all true, they are all a point of view. Yet the truth from a point of view is relative, that has always been the case. This is why we have peer criticism for academic papers. Yet that is not the case for the media, they are all fighting to remain around with some feigned form of value. This has been the case for over a decade and now the BBC gives us (at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-63869013) ‘Meta threatens to remove US news content if new law passes’, you see the truth of the matter is that the people no longer need the news, the news is no longer if value. It started when the media starting soliciting (aka whoring) for digital dollars. Flamed bring revenue, actual news not so much. The events surrounding Elon Musk, the abstinence around Jack Dorsey and a dozen other cases made it so. The newspapers are irrelevant and they know it, so in a last gesture to remain not completely irrelevant they rely on laws to force funds from social media. Even as the shared instances from places like the Australian link to paywalls, they are all about ‘lost revenue’ And the Australian is not alone, loads of American newspapers and media (like Forbes) do EXACTLY the same thing. They will tell you the scoop AFTER you pay, so how is that lost revenue? Not all papers are like that, but many are and now we get “It would give publishers and broadcasters greater powers to collectively bargain with social media companies for a larger share of ad revenue”, I believe this is to be a false setting and Meta gives it to you in the form of “Meta claims their platform, in fact, provides increased traffic to struggling news outlets.” They are correct. Consider the truth, it I simple, how many times did you go to the news site? How many times was this because THEY shared news on social media? This has been the case for a decade and now that Meta is taking off the gloves, we see how irrelevant the media has become. In the last year alone I highlighted close to a dozen cases of incompetency and a lack of information vetting by the media, so why should they get paid for shortcomings? It is almost like the decapitated chicken.  It’s running around, but it is already dead, the rest of its body did not figure it out yet. Is it fair? Does it matter? No, the media had the option to evolve, it merely decided that is was cheaper and more profitable to hang onto someone else’s coattails. It did not work out well for them and now they cry foul, almost like the yellow pages. Their era died and they just never adjusted in time and I am adding to the pain as my 5G seemingly goes to China. Setting a new stage in several ways and taking advertisement power away from all and leave it where it should have been all along, with the advertising people. With the locations of advertising and that is the lesson that they never picked up on, and it is not their fault. A place like Google missed it too and I mentioned it at least twice this year.

A stage that is moving away from them faster and faster and if Meta makes the move it is threatening to a lot of players in the media world will be done for. Such is life, Media Erectus is getting eaten before passing on its whinges. So do not focus on the whinge, consider the place technology had for almost 2 decades and see where the media is not, and they have not been where they needed to be for almost a decade and now that they are about to become irrelevant they cry laws. Bu the way these same people never championed law changes to the environment, law changes to taxation and they simply went for the emotional targets, it had more expected digital dollars, so where are these dollars now?

And when we see “Media companies argue that Meta generates huge sums of money from news articles shared on the platform.” So where is THAT evidence? Meta generates advertisement towards people through free accounts, and this gets me to (at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2H8wx1aBiQ) the congress statement April 2018 where the answer is ‘We run ads’ a setting that was in place for well over a decade. The news was never an element and as such the media better be quick with presenting ACTUAL evidence in that case.

When I see how irrelevant the media and Microsoft have become and I see them cry like little chihuahua’s all whilst they screw up options left right and centre, what the actual F*** (censored word) the world around them is doing protecting something this irrelevant is beyond me, it actually is.

We can debate things but look at the numbers. the Paris based World Association of Newspapers, which represents 18,000 newspapers gives us that there are a lot more. The world has 8,000,000,000 people, which implies that there is an average of 445,000 people per newspaper. When you start doing the math, you will see that the numbers o not add up. The newspapers that are still relevant are so as they have well over 2 million subscriptions. The Washington Post has 3 million, and The Wall Street Journal 2.4 million subscriptions. The Dutch Telegraaf had in 2001 807,000 subscriptions, in 2017 it was only 393,000. The larger national newspapers are losing ground and now we see the larger play. There are 195 countries in the world. So why are there 18,000 newspapers? They nearly all rely on Reuters, making at least 17,000 irrelevant already. But these are the numbers no one looks at, and they are all vying for advertisements. Look at ANY newspaper and look how many advertisements they have and how much they charge and you will see their actual loss. They are no longer a relevant advertisement group, digital media replaced them, they lost relevancy by allowing to become a family of 18,000 brothers and sisters and that is before you see the rest of the media relying on advertisement sales to qualify their existence. But no one looks at that side are they?

The other white paper that no one gets to see is the one no one in media wants to look at, it merely shows how irrelevant they have become.

You are not Tom Cruise

I was confronted with an article on ABC (at https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-11-28/daniel-duggan-held-under-restrictive-conditions-in-prison/101705510) We see the emotions, we see the indications. But there is a side that ABC is avoiding. The former Marine pilot Daniel Edmund Duggan has a problem, I cannot say if it is due to himself or not. Yet an explanation is required, the ABC was not giving it to you. You see we might all dream of becoming another Tom Cruise, being a fighter pilot and roaming the skies. The smallest of all groups get there, it might be a slightly larger group than those dreaming of becoming an astronaut, but not by much. We want to fly the beast machines, be the beast with Jennifer Connolly (Paul Bettany got that winning ticket) and be a scoundrel of the skies. We all (including me) have had that dream. But there is another side. When you become that one person you also are given unrestricted access to the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor and its $26.2 billion in Intellectual property and the US need to keep it under wraps as much as possible. I do not think that they will allow for a person like Daniel Edmund Duggan or any other person for that matter to hand over IP and IP related knowledge that is owned by the United States Defence department. That side the ABC left untouched. Now, in court that will require evidence and the chance of $26,200,000,000 getting handed over to China is not what the US (or its allies) will react kindly to. Now, there is no evidence that $26 billion will be handed over, but in the same setting if a pilot like Daniel Edmund Duggan hands over knowledge to an ally, the US will grudgingly stand still, when it goes to a US appointed adversarial like Russia or China, the US will NOT stand by. I get it, what I do not get is that the ABC left you in the dark and merely focusses on “Mr Miralis said it was unprecedented to have an Australian citizen with no criminal history placed on inmate restrictions akin to people who had been convicted of terrorist offences and multiple homicides” Well, we accept that and the Lawyer needs to give a best defence, but the stage is that China is recruiting and it is recruiting people like Duggan and there are billions at stake. It is not handing over the specs, it is handing over the weaknesses of any US aircraft he has ever flown, all the knowledge, via brother pilots he got access to. There is a definite risk for the US, I get that and as it was American IP, Duggan definitely has a problem. If he was in the US it might not have gone that far initially, but he became Australian, as such there is an issue and ABC should have told you that. The fact that he worked in China does not help any. It does not matter if what he did was completely unrelated or harmless. He had access to top secret information on US airplanes and ABC did not inform you, there is something called balanced and we get it, there are moments where we are less than balanced, but to leave such a large setting out of the equation is rather dumb, but that might be my take on the setting.

I have no idea how this works out, but people better figure out that there is a new storm brewing and when it hits it will hit to a much larger degree. The US is pretty much bankrupt, it has no exit strategy to get rid of 30,000 billion (30 trillion) in debt and things are getting worse. Soon the US treasury will depend on whatever IP they have and reduction of values of such nature will not go over well and these people signed papers, not unlike the official secrets act. I did not, so I can inform you on the simple fact that Director Richard Moore of MI-6 is now 59 years old and 347 days younger than me, so there!

Alas, Daniel Edmund Duggan had to sign such a piece of paper when he became a US Marine Pilot. That is what is getting him into the proverbial hot waters.

What is real?

Some things we know are real, some are part real and some are neither. But for the most I have relied and believed, in a few instances I learned much later that I was deceived. The Catholic Church influenced my education giving me false information. Later that same church did everything to ‘protect’ their paedophilic priests. Now the BBC gives us (at https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-63636641) where we see ‘Gold coin proves ‘fake’ Roman emperor was real’ there we learn “The final blow came in 1863 when Henry Cohen, the leading coin expert of the time at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, considered the problem for his great catalogue of Roman coins. He said that they were not only ‘modern’ fakes, but poorly made and “ridiculously imagined”. Other specialists agreed and to this day Sponsian has been dismissed in scholarly catalogues.” As such the ‘experts’ dismissed Sponsian who ruled in a time line where 11 others ruled, so there are issues. But in all this we wonder what is real. We get it, there were issues with the ‘evidence’ there were rejections, but the coins could not have been the only evidence. More evidence was destroyed or suppressed and we do not know when that happened.  There is every chance that some evidence was mislabelled, as such are all the facts of these 11 other rulers correct? Perhaps it is, but forensic research on 1600 years old data and collections is not easily verified of checked. It will take new technology to do this, adjusted technology.

The first thing we see is the Tibetan library, there we see that only 5% has been translated. Players like Google can make a huge difference. It will not answer the Italian issue, but as our libraries become more and more complete, we can identify a lot more. We have been lucky to some extent, but that luck is running out. If we are to make any kind of lasting impression, it will be the need to get as much information ready for long term storage and long term recollection. But this is overly simplified. We would rely on experts, but these experts trivialised Sponsian and experts tend to be more stubborn than politicians believing in Jedi’s. And there are political issues in play as well, and that setting transfers to Tibet (China being an issue), and a few more. The issue becomes interesting, it is more than a data puzzle, it is a puzzle of verification which is not the same. Yet, I am intrigued with the speculative process of reverifying 1800 years of data, we might merely have lost a step, but there is every indication that dozens of steps were wrongly assigned and there the stage that these steps require verification as well. More importantly, were some of them every assigned correctly? A puzzle that is enticing, very very enticing.
