The increased revenue setting

That is what we look for and I found another setting in something called Airport technology. You see, we see ‘King Salman International Airport, Saudi Arabia’  (at https://www.airport-technology.com/projects/king-salman-international-airport-saudi-arabia/) and the facts are clear. An airport that covers about 57km², positioning it among the largest airports by footprint and is said to “KSIA is expected to handle up to 120 million travelers by 2030, and up to 185 million passengers and 3.5 million tonnes of cargo by 2050” But I saw more. You see, on the 26th of September I wrote ‘That one idea’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/09/26/that-one-idea/) where I saw the presentation of an Near Intelligent Parsing (NIP) thought that could revolutionise lost and found settings in airports, on railway stations and a few other places, the instant winners of this idea would be Dubai International, Abu Dhabi international, London Heathrow and several other places and now also King Salman International Airport (KSIA), I would make some alterations to it all. In stead of entering it all, use PDA’s to records the data as it happens and when it is all entered use what they use in Australian hospitals for wristbands, print that data and attack it to whatever is found. If this is properly done, it will be done in mere minutes and within an hour people can look for the items, they could pick it up on the way back, in some cases it could be delivered to their hotel. This would be customer service of a much higher degree. And as I see it, the five airports (namely King Khalid International Airport, King Abdulaziz International Airport, King Salman International Airport,  Dubai International Airport and Zayed International Airport) could become the frontrunner to make an Near Intelligent Parsing (NIP) solution (not calling a solution based on DML/LLM AI) that could be the next solution for airports al over the world and there is some personal gratification to see America talk about how great their AI solutions are, whilst the little guy in Australia found a solution and hands it over to either Saudi Arabia or the UAE. A solution that was out there in the open and players like Microsoft (Google and Amazon too) merely left it laying on the floor and the elements were clearly there, so I hand it over to these two hungry places with the need to see what it can offer for them and in this it isn’t mine. It was presented by Roger Garcia (from Interworks) and the printing setting is already out there. Merely the joining of two solutions and they are done. So as I see it, another folly for Microsoft (honestly Google and Amazon too). This setting could have been seen by a larger number of players and they all seemingly fell asleep on the job. But if I know what Saudi’s and Emirati’s do when they see something that will work for them. They get really active. And so they should.

And consider that these airports will cater to close to half a billion travelers annually, and as such they will need a much better solution than whatever they at present have and there is the setting for Interworks. And when these solutions set the station towards delivering what was lost, the quality scores will go skywards and that is the second setting where the west is bottoming out. One presentation set the option from grind to red carpet walking. A setting overlooked by those captains of industry.

So whilst I start preparing for the next IP thought I am having there is still some space to counter the US and its flaming EU critique. Let us remind America that the EU was the collection of ideas from America retail who were tired of dealing with all those currencies and in the late 80’s AMERICANS decided to sell the Euro to Europeans, all because they couldn’t sort out their currency software (or currency logistics) and now that it starts working against them they cry like little girls. Go cry me a river. In the meantime I will put ideas worth multiple millions online and let it fly for the revenue hungry salespeople (and consultants). In this case it wasn’t my idea, I merely adjusted an idea from Interworks and slapped some IP (owned by others) to make a more robust solution. I merely hope to positively charge my karma for when it matters.

Identifying a great idea

That is where I found myself in a creative mood two days ago and whilst I did one creative idea yesterday (18 hours ago) I am still a little tired of these AI bubble stories as we are swarmed by the AI wannabe’s telling us what a great solution AI is, whilst some economists are seeing the light that trillions of dollars are waster against a (at best) 3% return on investment. Even the most generic bank gives more in interest. So I decided to take another creative gander and this isn’t really my idea. I saw the idea and I was pretty much blown away. The idea (as far as I know it) originally comes from the Puy du Fou theme park in France. The part I saw was “On board the ship, take part in the great discoveries, from Cape Horn to Alaska, all the way to Vanikoro… and endure the most challenging of storms! You will experience, from within, the odyssey of an expedition from which there was no return: the mysterious voyage of La Pérouse!” And that park is a whole lot bigger, but doesn’t apply to my ‘idea’. But it needs to be said that “Mystère de La Pérouse” is seemingly a whole lot bigger, but what I saw was enough the title the senses of creativity. Poy du Fou is “located in France in Vendée (85) on the outskirts of the town of Les Épesses and can be reached via the A87 motorway (exit no. 28). This land of legends is ideally located 3h15 from Paris, 3h from Bordeaux, 2h from Poitiers, 1h30 from La Baule and La Rochelle, 1h from Angers, Nantes and Les Sables d’Olonne.” As I see it, (especially as everything is seemingly in French) a massive attraction for French speaking Canadians in 2026 (so they can avoid America a little longer) and the map, which you can look at (at https://www.puydufou.com/france/en/must-see-france) seems to have the same setting that the Dutch Archeon has but as I see it is a lot bigger and they have several hotel (6 at present), which start at £61.46/pers. 

But that is enough advertisement for Poy du Fou, it was de “Mystère de La Pérouse” that inspired me to make ‘an altered vision’ for both Saudi Arabia (Sindalah) and the UAE either Dubai or Abu Dhabi Marina area (my personal preferred location is Abu Dhabi) and it helps if you watch this video (my inspiration, at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnkpVkZlGPU) You see, there is nothing wrong with what I saw, but what happened when you make this walkthrough in either the largest Portuguese galleon the Padre Eterno, or the The Prins Willem, which was a 17th-century East Indiaman of the Dutch East India Company (VoC) and one in Saudi Arabia and the other in the UAE location and that brings a additional push for these locations. As I see it (with my limited options) I reckon that Sindalah in Saudi Arabia might need a lot more pull and these settings will embellish the draw on the crowds going there. Abu Dhabi already has an amazing pull, but there is nothing against a little more pull.

As I see it, the immersive view is only part of this, and it could use an Arabian vessel of those days as well, like a dhow or a ghali (optional both). And whilst the immersive view might be a nice setting, adjusting a place to eat looking in either a Portuguese setting like a string place for food and drinks like the  Padre Eterno, or its counterpart the Prins Willem, might give more appeal. The setting is the start of adjusting the view to international tourists and I reckon that these places might also appeal to the local population. I reckon that these views might pull even more tourists. You see, people need choice of hat they are able to do, more choice will set aside the fear that they feel bored, but that is merely the stage or feeding anticipation. As I see it, feeding the options of awareness gives way to consideration. This has been established decades ago, but how to go about this? Most people ‘rely’ on social media and that is not wrong, but in todays market where people are swayed through AI advertisement, there is a need to reinforce awareness and that requires options, a notion often disregarded by a lot of people and when I saw the above mentioned video, something inside me just caught on and that is only one option that Puy du Fou brought to my brain and when you consider that this could given the people (especially locals) a history tour of what merchant navy brought in those days it helps having a tour in these two places. 

So this idea with both the Saudi and Emirati government I leave to them and perhaps it is easier to contact Puy du Fou and its president Nicolas de Villiers, whose father created this theme park. It might be easier to get around certain settings here and it is run by a non-profit organisation and they might like being liked in other nations as well. So this is what I had (together with yesterdays blog) and I reckon that I showed once again that one does not need AI to create stuff. So there is that too.

Trojena, the next chapter

I had a thought yesterday, what if you add something to Trojena? There is nothing wrong with what it is supposed to be at present, but as I see it, something is amiss. It is too business like, it is purely focussed on the Ski resort and that is fine. But there are times when the people (all of them) need a diversion (not all of the time) as such my mind went wondering the the bobsled attraction in the Dutch Efteling (shut down in 2019, 30+ years) You see, there is an olympic Bobsled course and that is fine, but I recon that at least 90% of the people had the thought I had and that was “What would that be like” and from there we go one step further. What if the views are a sight to behold and I reckon that Trojena would be that at the very least.

And there is, as I see it, plenty of places where that could be placed. The resort is massive and it wouldn’t need to be implemented on day one, but it would be nice.

The sight of Trojena should be seen in full flight, which took me to idea two. Take (if you will) a sledge for up to 6-8 people. It is a wooden sledge track with pine needles topping riding on wheels in gutters over a full length with several stations on several levels taking people around that track to different settings outside the tracks. It would allow the people to see the greatness of Trojena in a ride around the court, or from a high point to a lot point and back again the tracks tools have close to 60-80 sleighs going around the tracks showing Trojena in all its splendor, a ride for the whole family.

This last one was a last minute thought. But that setting of the Bobsled is setting in my brain, giving the people the feel of a ride from point A to point B, 4 men sleds and it would give the people to see and sit in a Saudi Sled in all its colors as they go down the track giving them a ride and after the ride the belt take the sleds back to their starting point. Who would not want that? And such an attraction would be a novel attraction to have and take pressures away from the ski slopes as people take another gander at what they get to see whilst skiing (or snowboarding) down the slopes. See it as a novel diversion after a meal, or before the meal and it will give them something more to do.

I am not saying that there isn’t enough to do, but there will be people and moments when they want a diversion and the bobsled ride will deliver, anyway that was my thought and I thought it should be here to inform the powers that are to be in that race for presentations of this place.

Big in Japan

It is not a song by Alphaville, they did that in 1983 I believe. But a few months ago (May 4th, at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/05/04/the-nature-of-things/) I raised a setting that gave us “Japanese finance minister says selling U.S. bonds a “card on the table”’ with the yowza response “Japanese Finance Minister Katsunobu Kato said Friday that the country’s $1.13 trillion in Treasury holdings were a “card on the table” in trade talks, The Associated Press reported.” Talking about the tiger that feeds himself with your hand, and the added text becomes “Japan is one of the five largest U.S. trading partners, as well as a rock-solid ally in the region, so there was some surprise when the U.S. hit the country with a 24% reciprocal tariff in early April.”” I had Axios and a few other sources. And that was all there was to it, the news simmered down and the news was forgotten, except that is why I have my blog. I don’t tend to forget things. So when I got the news a few days ago I saw a YouTube video that Japan was dumps its US bonds. A fear that many have. And I started to seek that news from more reputable sources. Most had nothing, but (at https://medium.com/@nationalgoldgroup/japan-is-dumping-us-debt-and-americans-will-feel-it-31ec6a1f3870) But Medium gave us ‘Japan Is Dumping US Debt — And Americans Will Feel It’ but that is all there is. Now, I would be hesitant to give this out, especially as the Financial Times and the WSJ have nothing on this, even the Japanese Times (an English version) has nothing. So what gives? Are these doom speakers? Because that news would be grim for America. They give us “That’s basically what Japan has been doing with US Treasuries since the 1990s. They’d print Yen at 0% interest rates (basically free money), convert it to dollars, and buy up American debt in the form of US Treasuries. Then they’d sit back and collect the interest payments. This strategy pumped trillions of dollars into global markets over the years.

And more importantly, this arrangement made everything in America artificially cheap.” But as we see the next bit “suddenly, the cheat code stopped working. The math that made the carry trade profitable for 30 years just flipped upside down. Japanese pension funds looked at their spreadsheets and realized they were losing money on US Treasuries. So they started selling. Billions of dollars worth. Every single day. Imagine you’ve been lending money to a friend for years, making a nice return. Then one day, you realize you could make better returns just keeping the money in your own savings account. What would you do? You’d ask for your money back.” So, is this true? America could ask Mark Carney as he is an excellent economist, but there is a chance he is not taking their calls. What surprises me is that all the media is silent on it. But 2 days after my article, on May 6th we got “If Japan sold massive amounts of US debt, it would very likely spark a massive Treasury selloff. Treasury rates would in turn sharply increase, making it more expensive for Washington to borrow and freaking out investors along the way” (source: CNN) but at present, these YouTube and their allotment of ‘financial show’ jokers are seemingly doom speaking, because as I see it, this is all it is. The problem is that doom speakers tend to make others jittery and China has over $700 billon of those puppies. The Medium ‘knowledge’ comes from the National Gold Group and I am not setting any value on that, but the fact that the ‘set’ financial newspapers (Guardian, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times) have nothing on this, they do not even debunk that news. So I am looking at the playing field with a dim look (as I have an absent economic degree). And I am not joining any doomsayer on their doom binge. But YouTube has a few more sources and they are all dancing around the setting, like they ant to refer to news they had given, but they are not giving it. As I see it, if it isn’t in the newspaper (online or not) it doesn’t exist, but the news is a little unsettling, because if Japan goes, so does China soon thereafter and America has 2 trillion in US treasury bonds that no one wants. So, what do you think that does to the American economy? I reckon that China likes the idea, but it doesn’t want to start it and that is where Japan comes in. Is it real? I honestly do not know, but I do know that after the shenanigans America did to others, there is a hidden glimmer of fun to several people should this happen. So I have concerns on this, but I am adamant in saying that there is no verifiable setting that this is actually happening at present. And I feel strongly about giving this additional message.

I will report on happening, not create fictive settings that start something.

Tourism in the toilet

I have probably never seen any country throw his tourism industry in the toilet before like America has. Every country has its own methods and settings but 5 hours ago Canadian and the rest of the world got a rude awakening as to how this goes. CBC’s own Sophia Harris gives us in two broadcast the setting on how Canadians are for overthrown into the ‘dislike America’ setting. And the new rule is taking part this Friday. As of Friday every Canadian traveling to the US will have to supply their biometrics to America and it is given to us in “The United States is expanding its facial biometrics program with the goal of collecting images of non-U.S. citizens at entry and exit points at all airports, seaports and land borders”, as I see it, this will down Tourism a further 10%-15% and it is not in a nonchalant notion, “Just before getting on the plane, he says two uniformed officers approached him on the boarding ramp (Jetway), and one took his photo. “I was aghast. I felt ambushed,” said Shepell, a noted Canadian psychologist. He says the men never explained who they were or why he was photographed.” There is a found stretch coming from America (me quoting Hamlet). As we are given “CBP is expanding the program with the goal of collecting images of departing passengers at all international U.S. airports. The agency also plans to take photos of travelers when they enter and exit the country at all sea ports, and in vehicle lanes at land borders. CBP told CBC News it expects to have facial biometric technology fully in place at land borders sometime next year. Full implementation at sea ports and airports is expected within the next three to five years.” I reckon that this is data related and that is how America just lost a whole heap of tourists, because this makes (as speculated by some) Russia just a little more customer friendly. With the added “The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a new rule on Friday that makes it mandatory for non-U.S. citizens, including Canadians, to take part in its facial biometrics program. The regulation is set to take effect on Dec. 26 — even though full implementation of the program could take years. According to the rule, photos taken of foreign travelers will remain on a DHS database for up to 75 years.” As I personally see it, having my records somewhere is not what I fear, what I fear is American opportunity selling it to every tech boss in the world and them having a go at my details. And I can’t wait to report on how the DHS accidentally got hacked and our details are now with most of the cyber criminals in America and beyond. It is merely a waiting process, this is a ticking time bomb that will go boom in the night mark my words, And this all is something we were given by the same reporter a week ago with 

‘Canadian snowbirds fingerprinted and photographed at U.S. border as part of new requirement’ on October 19th. As I see it, it shows that America had long standing interests in who is in their country “Several Canadian snowbirds reported they were fingerprinted and photographed at the U.S. border this month when registering for their winter stay, which U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) told CBC News is now standard procedure. 

Jacquie and Steve Ree of Ladysmith, B.C., arrived at the Peace Arch Border Crossing between Surrey, B.C., and Blaine, Wash., on Oct. 9.” The part that gets me is that they need these records on all the Canadian snowbirds as well. These people tend to have locations in America, they have their place and that was making them feel fine. I reckon that they might pick up and transfer to Australia or New Zealand in that same setting as they can get a better deal in these places and as I see it there are express ways to rely on this setting. No mater how we see it, America just scuttled their own tourism boat for the foreseeable future. We might not have liked who ran that place, but now we have seemingly valid concerns on how we are processed in America. I wonder how this is handled in the long run. A setting that DHS never considered is that America had in the past 72.39 million international tourists on an annual setting. There is a decent chance that this number goes down by a bit, but even if it decreases to 39 million, that implies that these 39 million biometric scans will occupy at least one data centre especially as it requires holding for 75 years. And these people will wonder what happens to these details now. 

Yup, I reckon that money spend on the Epic Universe was a little over enthusiastic at present, or at least its crown management issues are now decently solved by the Department of Homeland Security. So there is that.

That one idea

This is not about me, this is about someone else. I watched a presentation in the STUG (Snowflake Technical User Group) and I was pretty much blown away. Yes, I don’t suddenly believe in AI, the only AI reference is by Alan Turing and this is not it. It is however an excellent example of what great DML and LLM can achieve and this is one of those ideas. They took on what takes months in an airport and with pictures and little programming they did in seconds what Airports take (optionally) days, if not months to achieve. This program did in minutes optionally seconds the same. That is a massive manpower saving. So, some will not care. Others will think ‘meh’ but I reckon that Dubai going towards 100,000,000 annual travelers will have another take on this. Then we get Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah and from there, the sky is pretty literally the limit. As I see it, this will be a required software enhancement in any airport with well over 25 million visitors and from there we get the little people like Translations, London Waterloo for one. You see, there is an applause to come. I watched a great idea come alive in this world and I reckon that any transport person alive will see the resources squandered in lost and found parlors. This is a massive step in resolving that setting. Optionally it will resolve at least one nightmare that Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum is having.

So as Roger Garcia (Interworks) I was seeing greatness come alive. I reckon that he should pick up the phone and offer the solution to Dubai Airport (and I told him that). Dubai International Airport is as per 2024 the busiest airport on the planet. Last year that airport handled over 92 million passengers, over 2.2 million tonnes of cargo and registered over 440,000 aircraft movements. And they are expected to surpass the 100 million passengers this year. So what do you think that lost and found department has to deal with? 

Spread over an area of 2,900 hectares it will have to deal with a lost item of two (or three) every minute and that amounts to 172,800 lost items a day. (259,200 if three items a second are lost) and that is merely per day, so when we take the conservative number we 63,072,000 a year. OK, that might be a bit much, but set this to 25 million items per year, this solution is giving that airport a real breath of air and there are 40,000 airports in the world, the setting is easily seen. OK, only 10,000 are served by commercial airlines as such there is a little less to go for, but when did you last see a solution applicable to even 1,000 customers? That this is 1,000% more. So when I said that Javier Garcia brought a global solution to bare, I am not kidding. We see the larger players (Dubai, Heathrow, Istanbul) and a few others. That solution is offering real solutions in real time and this solution was shown to me. It also gives a rise to Snowflake and its global options. One application is all it needs to get global recognition in fields it never considered before and I saw in on September 25th 2025. 

These are the moments you live for. It isn’t merely what IP I bring to the world. It is recognizing when others do so too. Beyond the laughter

Yup, we get that, we scream deriving howl of laughter as the expression goes. For weeks I have been saying the setting was one that was merely expanding and people called me crazy (now, there is a case to be made that I am as crazy as any loon gets), but in this case the setting is different. You see (at https://www.hotelnewsresource.com/article138012.html) we see ‘Abu Dhabi Hotel Industry Achieves Record August Occupancy’ and that is less then 24 hours ago. I stand that Abu Dhabi was on a track to break all tourism records and now I am proven correctly. You see, we are given “Abu Dhabi’s hotel industry recorded its highest occupancy rate for August, reaching 79.3%, according to preliminary data from CoStar. The average daily rate (ADR) increased by 10.6% to AED482.32, while revenue per available room (RevPAR) rose by 15.4% to AED382.25. These figures represent the highest August ADR and RevPAR since 2008.” This shows that Abu Dhabi is on the right track and the numbers will impress others even more and within a year, this is merely seen as average. You see, not only is Abu Dhabi building around Yas Island, Abu Dhabi is gaining global population and even as America should have been countering this with their own options. ABC (at https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-09-09/australians-with-us-e3-working-visas-hit-with-new-rules/105752706) is now giving us ‘Thousands of Australians living in US face new restrictions on visa renewals’ and the underlying text becomes “The directive, which took immediate effect after it was issued on the weekend, warns visa-holders against the common practice of traveling to countries closer to the US to renew their visas. Some Australians who had made visa appointments in other countries before the change was announced have already had their applications denied at those appointments.” As I said it, it will evoke howls of deriving laughter. It invokes a brain drain and America wants the ‘Americans first’ rule, but when these Americans don’t have the brain power to set this to a workable solution, These people will seek employment elsewhere and that also impacts tourism, because these people will not go back to America for any vacation any day soon. It opens up stages of profit for plenty of places (including the UAE) who is now showing to be a yummy destination for thousands more. You see, the E-3 Visa is limited to 65,000 per fiscal year plus an additional 20,000 for those who have earned a US masters degree or higher. This implies roughly 80,000 people who are now looking for other options anywhere else and they will seek other than American vacation options. 

A rolling stone that starts an avalanche of economic hardship. I wonder how many of them would consider ADNOC, Etihad Airways or the First Abu Dhabi Bank as a worthy employer? Business Intelligence, IT, teaching people all of them are seeking other options I reckon that this will break up a few marriages and then there is the chance that these marriages will all seek a family setting outside of the USA. It would be my idea for the UAE to start poaching these people on an E-3 Visa. They get to pick the cream of the crop and it might be an idea to do this before corporations in the EU figure out the deal they could be having. There is of course the other place (Dubai) and the people at Emirates NBD, DP World and The Emirates Group could see the impact that they could have poaching E-3 visa people. For them they are looking at a pool of people who have been vetted in many ways already and that could be easy picking for them. Of course this is where the evil sneaky person in me is setting the premise to a Google advertisement on browsers and in LinkedIn applications to get people with an E-3 Visa to offer them a way out. I reckon that they might scoop a little over 25,000 worthy employees in under a month. Not a bad deal for the UAE.

It is with great joy that I bring the people the old expression of the grass is always greener on the other fellows grave, or there are a number of expressions that celebrate the additional blunders that the American administration is making. So as I was shown last week that the tourism drain is set to the $60 Billion (I expected this to go to somewhere in the 80-135 billion range, we now see that aside from that, America is now invoking a brain drain of over 60,000 people.

So, not to kick a dog when it is down, this is all the doing of ints own administration and as the tourism articles are saying that Canada is still happy to avoid America, we see that overall nations in the EU, Asia and Commonwealth are basically all avoiding America. I saw last week that for the first time in history China has a more positive appeal than America has. So there is that too.

Under budget

That is at time the setting, but I kinda forget about that. It’s not that I am forgetting the setting, but it is that when I am pushed into a hotel, I usually have a high setting on security. There is nothing as annoying as getting to a hotel, quickly change into something easy so you can enjoy a quick bite to eat, to return to your room and learn that your room has been ransacked and your devices are gone. But in the UAE this is different. Everything is top notch there. The safety of you and yours is almost a given anywhere in the UAE. So I looked at the list of the hotels under 250 Dirham (which amounts to €58, or C$94, £50) and they all look good, but that amounts to a lot less than anything London, Toronto, Amsterdam, Brussels or Paris is likely to offer ever. Oh and there are more, but they are near Dubai, it is a short ride (half an hour by train, but that negates the exercise). 

So we get the list of Holiday Inn Dubai Al-Maktoum Airport, Tryp By Wyndham, Southern Sun, and the City Seasons Al Hamra Hotel. 4 hotels that offer a wealth of luxuries and amenities in one of the most attractive places in the world. As such Your trip doesn’t need to be expensive and these 4 will give you a reason to make the trip more than once a year, one must get their Apple extensions tax free, doesn’t one? I tend to focus on the free daily pass that the Warner Bros Hotel offers (more do that in Abu Dhabi), but it is right across from the Warner Bros Theme park and Water World is a less than 5 minute stroll as well. The others are either a happy stroll, or a free bus ride away (like the Yass Mall where your Ferrari fun starts). I just learned that charging your car on a Tesla station there is possible for less than 1.5 Dirham per kWh, making it one of the cheapest places to charge anywhere. I believe that some places offer it for free, well basically for guests, making it a place where you can fill up your tummy whilst your car charges. Seems like a steal at twice the price.

The more I learn of Abu Dhabi, the more I think it is the perfect place to retire your weary old bones (mine are old and weary, as such I think all retirees have that condition). And for the price? There are some newly built places available for a mere AED 760,000 (€177K, C$287K, or £153K), making also the cheapest in any of the aforementioned spaces. I am pretty sure it merely gets you a studio, but try getting that in London, Sydney or Paris, I dare you. 

I reckon there was a reason why thousands of millionaires are pooling in this place, I just didn’t think it was for this reason. And I merely looked at the Yas Island properties, there are dozens more all over Abu Dhabi. But the call of 5 theme parks, a mall and a Formula one track are pretty sensational to say the least. And when you get to retirement, you need to flex every dollar you have and there is no place better as I see it. As such (as prices go) that you can get a pass for access to these parks all year round starting at 1800 Dirham (€420, C$680, or £365) which gets you 20% discount in Yas mall, in plenty of places and taking into account that a single day ticket I usually 300 Dirham, these passes pay for themself in under a dozen visits. So what would you like to do the other 340 days? 

The more I see what Abu Dhabi has to offer, the more it appeals and you are a mere 35 minutes away from Dubai and what they have to offer. I am officially over the retirement plans that America, Europe and other places offer. 

And the more I see what Yas Mall offers, the more I like it. We all have issues we overlook, but as It stands with crime at an all time high in Europe and America and safety at an all time low. The UAE has the goods that any family would want. Because as I see it, it will get nasty out there and the appeal that the UAE gives might want you to go merely to feel complete again. 

Oh, and did you know that there are places like Indeed that are trying to find 7000 people for jobs there too? It is overwhelmingly appealing at present, especially as the current ‘safety’ places are shedding jobs by the thousands. 

As I see it, it pays to stay under budget for the obvious reasons of course, but when you are in Abu Dhabi you will be introduced to the not so obvious reasons as well. I think that this level of politeness was only seen in Canada, the UAE is something else and that shows in the manner of the people, the efficiency and the drive for excellence. Now where is my 401K?

About the fish

Yes, it is a little weird, but that is the setting I faced today. In the dream I saw several metal masks of Sam Fisher. At first they looked like cheap pewter toys. But when I tried one, it didn’t fit, it was a mask for a child no more. I was a mask in two parts. The face and the mask and when you place it in an aquarium, the face and mask combination makes it partially float. It was the setting you do not see that makes it eerie. You see, you place the blood worms in the face and when the head gets submerged the bloodwork’s are gradually released into the aquarium. The fish start attacking the face of Sam fire, but after a minute you see what is going on and that is the setting of the mask. This made me think. What if that is the next marketing setting? Not about Sam Fisher, but the setting that marketing needs to embrace that marketing toys need to have a larger release setting. One that is kept in the house. Like the deadman chest in Pirates of the Caribbean? In Japan fish are big (not just on the diner table). You see According to Vastu principles, an aquarium is considered to be a powerful tool for enhancing positive energy and promoting harmony and prosperity in the home. The Vastu principles are about blanching the elements (air, water, fire and earth) as such the aquarium is in principle an item that gets the focal point in a home. And some marketeers are seeing that as a place to market their goods. It doesn’t get into the house, but if it get there it is almost guarantee to hold that focal point for some time and that reverberates in gaming too. Consider that this place will get a nice ticket and then is placed in the homestead for months at a time. That is what marketing should be embracing, not the idea to get to EVERY homestead, but where you get to go, hold that attention point for a lot longer than anyone else.

That same principle could be applied to the aforementioned head as a feeding point for fish.

Now, that does not make this the best idea, but considering that more people have something a lot smaller, the idea puts a smelling on the face of any marketeer that wants to see long term visibility. It could be anything, from a simple marble looking Oracle logo, to a submerged GTAVI car, completely broken. Marketing has plenty of options, what I wonder was that so many ignore the millions of aquariums in the homestead. A place where you place something one and then just accept the view it gives. Seems like a lost opportunity for the right marketeer. 

I want to write more about what Google got handed to them, but I wanted to explore a few more avenues on that setting. It is not as cost and dry as it is and for Justice to play this hand is a little about what comes next and I am curious as to how Justice will thwart the equations of Google data by Tencent and Huawei, because there is a story there. Especially as China is flogging of excess data centre computing power. I reckon that this will have some correlations over time. Jut like the aquarium space that was ignored by most. I am certain that China never overlooked that part of the equation. Did the Justice department make a boo-boo?

Vindication of a sort

Yup that is the setting we face today. I feel a little vindicated. You see, when we look on the American Tourism seeing, we see the ‘fact’ that the damage would amount to 29 billion. It is a setting we faced for some time now. But I wrote on August 11th 2025 ‘The setting stage’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/08/11/the-setting-stage/) where I wrote “that the expected damage to American Tourism would be a lot worse than $29 billion. I speculatively expect it to be at least 80 billion” that was over two weeks ago. Now MSN gives us ‘Study Warns Trump Tariffs Could Deliver $64 Billion Hit to U.S. Tourism Businesses’, I reckon that when they start considering the bankruptcies in Florida and California are added, they will get a lot closer to my 80 billion, they might even surpass my predictions as I used simple arithmetic to this equation. As such I feel a little vindicated. And there is something else, we are given ““When there’s trouble in the economy, the first thing people cut is their travel budget,” Jonathan de Araujo, owner of Florida’s Disney-focused travel agency Vacationeer, told the Washington Post — noting he fears more of that reaction if consumers see the wider negative effects of tariffs materialize. “They wait until it’s time to pay in full, and they say, ‘Actually I can’t afford this.’ That’s what I’m worried about.”” The one element they ‘overlooked’ is that Yas Island in Abu Dhabi (UAE) is almost ready to replace Florida as a destination. Next year Harry Porter will be introduced and two years after that Disney comes calling and with that, a full blown alternative for Florida comes into play. So, yes my numbers were ‘conservative’ in nature, I merely learned of Disney coming to the UAE after my calculations, so there.

So whilst we bicker about what hardship America faces, we need to consider that Florida will be feeling the pinch in several ways. They just invested over 7 billion dollars into the EPIC universe park and the cost to be there is up to $139 per adult. As such the UAE has better prices, several alternatives and several pleasure packets that end up being up to 60% cheaper. So yes, with a family of 4 (mum, dad and two brats) the cost savings start to add up, add to that the VISA costs of America and the savings are clearly made. Now add the fact that the UAE is a zero tax nation, as such there are a few apples that come to mind. Yes, Florida and California now have a problem and I reckon that a bandaid  of 80 billion dollars doesn’t cover the losses they face. And yes I did take the hardships of New York, Chicago and a few other places into account.

As a bonus to me, I just saw the predictions that Saudi Arabia has upcoming gaming (projected to be over $1.5 billion) and I predicted to Kingdom holdings a setting that will grant them an additional 6 billion annually. So I am feeling a little great, well I will be if I my IP is bought.

Oh, and the blasting of the UAE goes on, we now get a Florida publication giving us (at https://www.cubaenmiami.com/en/turistas-estadounidenses-deben-estar-atentos-los-emiratos-arabes-unidos-permiten-solo-90-dias-de-estancia-en-180-dias-de-viaje/) ‘US tourists should beware: The UAE allows only 90 days of stay in 180 days of travel.’ Which a little silly. You see, the UAE visa “60-day visa costs AED 300 plus VAT” (which is like $84). And since when have you ever had a vacation for more than 60 days? A 30 day VISA is even cheaper than that (like 30%). So why on earth does this article serve any purpose? If you can afford a 90 day vacation, you can apply for a decent residency. But that is merely my thought on this. I would love a permanent residency there, but it requires the Kingdom Holding to acquire my IP (that would make me happy too). So as such anything more than a 3 week vacation is not in my budget of expectations (at present). And if my IP is acquired I will seek permanent residency anyway. 5 theme parks and a giant mall? Yup, that is the life for me.

As I see it, America felt the ‘need’ to blast the UAE as their tourism hardships are getting out of proportions. They need every American to spend money in America. That is the only way they avoid total collapse of their tourist industry. As I see it, for every tourist visiting the UAE in the next three years, they will convince at least 2 tourists to go there too, as such all these people will not visit America any day soon. With the immense amount of tourist opportunities, They will capture the imagination of global tourists. Formula one, beaches, a waterpark, the Harry Potter fans and the Disney lovers. All over them will set their sights on Yas island and Abu Dhabi and that is before you consider the other attractions and museums Abu Dhabi has to offer, as well as zero tax shopping. Florida and California just got outclassed by a lot and it is all in one city, that being said it is a 30 minute train ride from Dubai and the biggest mall on the planet. I think enough has beed said. Still we should mention desert here are the prices on Yas Island. It comes down to under $5. 

So how much do you pay in Florida or California? The calculations are easy and the added benefit is that the UAE is almost come free, women comment that they have been able to walk in the UAE free of fear. That in itself is worth the ticket. So whilst the die is cast, I feel kinda great today. I have bee right all along on a few items and if that second item can get me my income I might be able to retire on Yas Island as well. What a luxury thought to have on this Saturday at 04:45 almost a whole day of feeling bliss this Saturday. Have a great day today. I know I will.
