That happens to all of us and it happened to me today. The BBC informs us on a setting so infuriating that it boggled my mind. The BBC (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5yp9w5kyw7o) informs us that ‘BBC finds electrocuted, drowned and starved cats in online torture groups’ and this angered me beyond believe.
With the smaller byline “Kittens are being purchased to be tortured online, the BBC investigation has found” then we get the goods in a not so nice way and we are given “The 16-year-old girl, and boy, aged 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty after the kittens were found cut open and strung up. Knives, blowtorches and scissors were also found at the scene.” So not for legal reasons? I have one better. My mind was exploring my darker side and I came up with an alternative. We have a device (see below)
it comes from the movie A Clockwork Orange, a masterpiece by Stanley Kubrick. So these two degenerates get the device, so that they cannot close their eyes. Watching a really large screen of their parents. Its on their bodies several sandwiches drowning in honey. Then every 10 minutes we drop in a scorpion. And the fun begins, they might resist for a while, but when they twitch in any way they run the risk of getting stung by a scorpion, and whilst the toxin is driving them more and more mad with pain they get more stings until the parents die and the kids watched it all. So how long until these people scream about cruel and unusual punishment? How much of a lesson does it take for these degenerates require to learn their lesson? Don’t come crying to me about harsh. The kittens and cats they killed didn’t get too much of a chance either (read: none).
As such I feel perfectly vindicated here. And don’t worry, there are 8 billion people. I don’t think that the four lost parents will be an issue to anyone.
Sounds harsh? I don’t think so. As I am being told (by the BBC) “a new video showing the torture and execution of a kitten or cat was uploaded approximately every 14 hours.” As such there is a chance that this year alone 324 cats of kittens were killed and as such we can have a little fun. The second idea is to drop streams of honey on the parents and watch thousands of ants devour the honey, the salt of the parents and then the parents, all whilst their torturing children get to watch it all. We could also upload these video’s but as cats might not appreciate this we can forego that setting. So how do the legal reasons sound now?
I never minded killing for business, killing of an animal for food or pure defense is OK. I prefer to go out of the way off the animal, but that isn’t always optional. And I get why you in self defense need to kill a lion, cougar or a tiger, but I prefer out of its way whenever possible. And I definitely go into its domain to ‘test fate’ That is simply stupid. So I get that you might be repulsed of this idea and I do not hold it against you. Just make sure these children learn that people like me exist and for the most we tend to be invisible. Lets see if they enjoy their preferred hobby now. And that’s just me having fun. Although the idea of setting the nastiness of nature in the path of anyone intentionally harming a kitten is just my kind of fun. So many dangers that nature brings. Like a shoddy bridge two feet over a pool of quicksand. The idea is actually riveting.
Do you think that these two morons will take a larger lesson from here, or are they a lost cause?
Have a contemplating day today. There is nothing good in this story, I admit that. I just got so angry that anyone would torture a cat or kitten. Oh, dropping their parents in a tiger cage is also an idea. I have to film this and show these kids what happened when cats from up and go big. Oh, I forgot. Why the parents? They raised the morons and this is something that parents had to prevent from what I call zero moment. The moment the idea sprung into their heads.
Yup, there it is. A message for Sergey Brin, big boss (aka fearless leader) of Google, aka Alphabet the leader of a firm from A to Z. And the message starts with “Wakey, wakes, its day breakey.” It is 05:53 in the morning in California now and it is Wednesday over there (I am not that early, it is 22:53 here in Sydney) even if we are on the same day, there is a difference. So I went on my merry way this morning and I forgot to charge my Google Watch 2, so I started my day with a watch on 25%. Now there is no bad ending, but it gave me an idea and this idea is meant for Sergey Brin, so he can upgrade his warez.
This is a magnet connected charge point for the Google Watch, Considering that my Google Pixel 9 Pro can share power this device could be used to charge my watch whilst having a coffee, or when sitting behind a desk. The benefit of this is that it could connect to wireless charging the phone and/or the watch using a wireless power bank, as such there are several solutions to make. There is the benefit to add it as a direct connection to a power bank, but the versatility of this as a separate device might be the better solution as this would enable the customer to choose their own power bank, or as seen as a versatile solution in other directions, even as a new third party solution.
As such this might seem like a short story (it is for Sergey), but as I was on a roll, I decided to look at something else, basically I was stuck in season 3 and I had a hard time getting progress in the series Engines, but then I remembered the game Chains of Olympus, which I never replayed on the PSP. But a thought came to me and that was connected to the Furies and in specific Orkos, but there is a link to the Hecatonchires. As such there was a new cog in the story and I was considering the approach to start in season 2 but that is basically as far as I got, but there is a new stage added to Engonos. But more on that soon, as long as I now set aside Resituam Vitam and take a new look at Engonos and transform the stories that I had put into my blog and set the papers to create the scripts for season one and two, so I reckon that I have plenty to do in the near future. But more on that later.
As such, my day is done, but there will be more options to consider tomorrow, so have a great day.
Yup that is the setting that I seem to have, and I have 0 for DARPA as they never debunked any of my ‘revolutionary’ ideas. That is not their fault, so no blame to them, but after setting the stages against Iran and Russia, my mind started to think and yesterday as I was seeing a YouTube video I got another happy idea. Now when you consider the ‘re-use’ of other IP, another thought came to me, the kind of ‘What if’ when it is laced in a nautical setting. You see, some are of the mind that it is about speed and immediate response, so what if that premise changes and that is when I had an idea that would put the ‘survivability’ of the 65-70 Russian subs there are out there? So one IP I made now gets a ‘B’ version, an adapted IP with the massive ‘A’ setting of new ammunition. There is one kink in the cable and that might be solved by the goofy lemmings at DARPA soon enough, but the setting that I have 7 strikes against DARPA is just too good for the ego to let go. And as I see it, the setting of the new form of ammunition could be used on several land targets including steel, oil and gas refineries. As someone said to me in the past (I think it was Genghis Khan) “It does not matter if I succeed, all others must fail”, it comes across as “我成功與否並不重要,其他人都必須失敗” and I will admit right now that my Chinese sucks, so there. Still the small victory today will help me in overcoming my reluctance to enjoy a strawberry wafer today.
I definitely earned it.
As such I created a solution to meltdown Iranian reactors (which means Russian reactors too), I created IP to shut down Iranian harbours through stealth. I created an idea that stops Iranian airstrips to become useful, basically stopping their air force, I created an idea to be used against buildings without ‘actually’ damaging the building, a new kind of ammunition that might stop several opponents and the HOP+1 cyber solution, which might be more about my ego vs NSA, but it is still an idea that (as far as I can tell) DARPA never considered. So those are my 7 strikes against DARPA.
So whilst everyone is howling on how bad certain people are, my mind went out and did something about it. That is what a creative mind does. Still, there is something in the back of my mind that I’m forgetting something. Ah, well it will be in my blog and whist people will complain on why it is not here. Well, I wrote over 3500 blog articles and the HOP+1 solution came around 2018, the idea came to me when Sony got rattled by a cyber criminal (I am still in the mindset that it wasn’t North Korea, unless it was a cyber mercenary working for North Korea.
As such I have earned my stripes against DARPA. As such have a great day and I reckon that other influences will poke me to create further new ideas. That is how ideas work, they come when others never considered the idea in the first place. It is how most of my IP came to pass and not all is military. Do you consider that IP from Vint Cerf could bar remodeled to be used in gaming, making NPC’s smarter? I bet you didn’t as Bethesda, Ubisoft and EA never upgraded their games.
So have a great day and I am using to the fridge where there is a strawberry wafer with my name on it.
Yup there you have it, after all these wretched newscast on a matter of settings, not in the least that the US dollar is dwindling down in value (not the weirdest case), my mind said “Stop it, now” and it started to fuel a creativity spur, and so it begins
I was getting ready to get to water world (Abu Dhabi), I had checked into the Warner brothers hotel and I was getting ready. My shorts were like boxing shorts (with in inner bathing trunk) liking like the Hufflepuff graduate I always imagined myself to be. The shorts dropped down to slightly below my knees. They were black with golden yellow embroidery and on each leg was the image of Benny the Badger. The top was the same, spaciously hiding me not so muscular chest with a large badger on the chest and it had an embroider Hufflepuff (golden thread) and a white bucket hat showing the simple Badger on the front, as such I was pretty protected from the harsh summer sun that Abu Dhabi creates for us and I would be well equipped to soak and splash in the Al Raha River, not bad for little old me. Pouch on the waist with waterproofing section for my watch, keys are there too. Sunnies at the ready, and here I go. I walked to Water world which was a mere 10 minutes and felt the early morning sun on my skin. It was 09:45, 15 minutes before it opens and I was early duo that I could get my preferred cabana, which had water and a little safe. I walked slowly as to take in the sights. It was a clear blue sky the water was already beckoning at the far end and I looked forward to seeing it. It took me 12 minutes to get to the place and as I had a spare minute I looked into the shop at the entrance. There Wass nothing spectacular, but it never hurts to check. As the park opened, there were three families in front of me and the it was my turn I asked for the cabana and presented my card. I had a diamond card, as to maximize my joy anywhere on Yas Island, she asked me if I had preference and I did and within a minute, I was on route to my happy place.
As I walked into the park I was amazed with the absence of people, just the way I liked it. I walked to the cabana, put away my stuff and walked to the lazy river. I had no problems getting to it. I soon was on a float being whisked away in dreams bobbing on the waters creating that hazy feeling whilst dreaming away the day. It must have been almost two hours when I woke up from the sleepy setting I was in, I saw that people were putting bags of crystals in the water. On a day? This seems odd, and a moment later I got off and walked onto one of the wooden parts next to the river. I looked around. I saw men with what looked like a closed oxygen system on their chests. This seemed highly unusual. I moved off the paths and looked from a distance. I had not been noticed, or at least that was what it seemed to me. At some point these men looked at their mobiles. They all nodded and put in their oxygen systems. That did not bode well for me, so I got to some distance from the water. Then I noticed the smoke on the water. People panicking and the setting of fear came to the crowds. Some to the men pulled out silenced weapons. I reckon that they wanted the noise down to maximize casualties. I suddenly noticed someone close to me doing the same thing. And I looked around me, seeing a sunscreen umbrella. I detached the lower part and I now had a small spear. Thank god for Emirati efficiency. He was not looking my way. I slowly crept on hum and when he looked around and spotted me it was too late. I drove the ‘spear’ into his throat right between the Adams apple and the lower jaw. I pressed hard. His voice was instantly gone, he had no change to warn anyone. I held the back of his neck as I pushed the rod into his brain. I dragged his body off the beaten track and dropped his body into a non-seen nook. I took his gear and put on the oxygen system, my face became unseen. I had no recourse for clothes, but if they could see that, they would clearly see I wasn’t one of them. He had three clips and the Russian PB, the Pistolet besshumnyy felt comfortable in my hands. It had 8 bullets and with 3 clips I could take care of 24 people. I had no idea what I was going in for. At the mean time I saw the dead people float on the lazy river. I cautiously walked towards the entrance. I saw three at the intersection in the Dhabi zone and I waited for a second, then I fired in quick succession three bullets. One hit the first ad the person behind him, the second hit the separate person and the third missed, but I got closer to the fallen person who was clearly wounded, but not dead. I forest again on his head. I saw a tourist bleak with fear. I cautioned he to come to me. She obeyed. I asked where she was from, she said the Netherlands and she said something like ‘What gebeurt hier? Wat moet ik doen?’ I spoke in slow English verbs. She understood me. I warned her that bad people are around. I gave her an oxygen system. She put it on. I told her that everything is dangerous here. I then showed her the walls where an exit should be. I pointed at the shrubberies and told her to hide until she could hide no longer. I gave he a general direction to move and she asked it these were terrorists. I nodded and said. I think so.
She nodded and I gave her a second oxygen system. She accepted the other system. I kept a reserve for me and took the nine clips and did not give her a gun. She might not use it and ended up rearming the fiends.
I pushed he on her way and she walked of as quick as she could. I looked at a map and saw the entry point at the other side of the Dhabi zone. I saw several men in masks, too many to consider going, but they were shooting people, so I got two guns ready and I went in as low and unseen as possible which in the Dhabi zone was a test. There were some hedges, but they didn’t offer any cover, mere absence of vision. I got in as close as I could and when I saw the 4 dead tourists, I direct on the terrorists. Nothing as fancy as headshots. This was not a PS5 game, this was real. I shot the 4 in the chest, which tends to be intensely painful. At least that was what their faces revealed. I got in lose and shot them all in the head. Problem solved.
At that point I waved at other tourists and pointed at the exit, they never hesitated. All wanting to get out and the parents eager to get their children out. And they went for it.
At this point I can confer that this is as far as I got in a little over an hour. There is more, there is the setting of little vans, all carrying Arabic looking license plates. All VW Caddy’s all carrying ‘EG’ identification and all loaded with explosives. I got two to safety (I gotta caress my ego) but there were 4 more. And all were shouting Free Palestine. A setting systems that has a few more conkers in the story. In the end there would be a lasting anger that would engulf both the UAE and Saudi Arabia and they had enough of Hamas and Palestines. In unison they bombed Palestine out of existence. Palestine went from 5.1 million to less than 50,000. And whilst there was some noice from Tehran, no one was listening to the boy who cried wolf a little too often. The attack on the UAE was the one thing that settled their deal of non-existence. There was a nice event where an islamic girl was saved who then later on in the story sees a similar van and she follows it and uploads the images to a person with Emirati security who we both meet at the end of the Water World setting. The attacks would also be in the Yas Mall (a prevented attack) and Emirati security finds the plans for the 5 pronged attack all over Abu Dhabi, the second assault would be over the next 4 days, giving a much larger terror feeling. Anyway. If the Yas Creative Hub in Abu Dhabi or Mark Whitehead, CEO of twofour54 finds this part useful, feel free to use it.
I did my creative part for the week. Time to see what entertainment America’s dwindling set of slapstick economies hold.
Yesterday I ‘threatened’ myself with wearing the thinking cap and in hours I kinda created two solutions. One to take care of the Iranian airfare and the second (very unfinished) to unravel the Iranian Army and as I had already dealt with the Iranian navy I was feeling a little complete. The air force was my first objective. You see, you can always isolate an army through its own domain. If an army is ‘hindered’ by their own locations, it stops being a threat. You see, the Iranian air force might have an estimated 37,000 personnel, but the only real threat they have are the 330–350 aircrafts and when they are limited to their own garage they tend to stop being a threat, out their threat comes a limited one. And I have to wonder how I got the idea and is my idea even realistic? The idea is developing in my mind (to some degree) but there is a lack of realism if I get the upper hand on DARPA, not once, or twice but 5-7 times? Only a deranged person thinks that he has the low down on over a dozen DARPA intellects. Once, I get, but that many times? Even I know that there is no way that this is feasible. As such I put my idea here, so that (as I suspect) actual clever people can do something with the idea.
I get that this has wider implications, but I believe that the enemies of Iran (they have plenty) might be able to do something about it.
You see, as I gathered that some people tend to look in one direction. I tend to go the other way. That is how I got several sides of IP as most merely look I one direction. As I see it, I got the upper hand on Google, Amazon and Microsoft. I am not blaming that I am ‘more’ intelligent. I am merely saying that I was looking the other way and I saw an option. So far Amazon didn’t accept my thoughts, Microsoft will never get the offer and Google already carved another direction and they are free to do that. As such as I was ‘entertaining’ my thinking cap, and entertaining isn’t the proper word, merely an adjective to use. You see, people see planes as an evil. They aren’t evil they are tools, but tools with a specific requirement. And even as drones and helicopters don’t have that need, putting 330 planes out of business is not a bad accomplishment.
You see, they need tarmac to get of the floor and tarmac, nowadays is made from aggregates and bitumen. The first one are the aggregates – usually crushed stone, sand and gravel. And they are bound together with bitumen, which is a viscous and waterproof substance at a temperature to become asphalt. As such I gathered that these bitumen can be messed with. And that is basically a chemical solution. You see nowadays we have drones and I was thinking cargo drones specifically. These drones has a flight range of 1,500 kilometers and a maximum operational altitude of 8,000 meters. It can fly for up to 10 hours and carry a payload of 1,200 kilograms. Now take these numbers and take 3-4 drones. Consider 1,200 kilograms of pellets which can be spread over the airstrip. Don’t consider the impact of destroying the entire airstrip. Merely parts of this (although the more complete the damage the less use the airport has). Now consider the setting that the pellets damage or make inert the bitumen part of tarmac. So, what is an airport without an airstrip? Merely a place for lost luggage. You see, with the tarmac damaged to that degree, planes cannot lift off. They can merely wait until the tarmac is repaired. There are about 20 Iranian airports, which might require too many drones, but you could take out around half a dozen airports in this way. And I am not claiming I know more than DARPA, but couldn’t DARPA have figured this out themselves?
And lets not jump to conclusion. I haven’t solved the bitumen part (yet), however how many boffins have considered this track? Everyone is so strange in the void ahead of them, that they tend to forget what is behind them. A setting I tend to use as it is a lot more rewarding to see what I can reengineer behind myself then consider what I could get in front of me. This is how my mind could make harbours useless and that was merely for starters.
So, am I crazy or are there people around who are considering that I have an idea that too many overlooked? Just me having a creative moment and when completed I changed the setting of airports to the largest degree. It required planes to take off and when that stops, those without zeppelins are basically earth bound.
Just a creative snag I am handing the world. Have a fun day, I am going to take another attempt at sleeping, it is 03:45 now, 300 minutes to breakfast.
That is the setting I am invoking. You see, there is something going on and there are many who say so, although I believe them to be in a sort of ‘conspiracy theorist’ setting. I kinda doubt that I am (not certain though), but I am telling you the whole story here, as a lot of it is speculative, but it comes with evidence of some sort and this story goes way back. A few days ago I set a premise to paper, I have done so before on a few occasions, but this time an idea hit me, and believe me. I am the first one to go into denial and say it was my brain. Yet after all the IP I created (some of them weapon systems) I learned to respect my brain. I figures things out even when my eyes can’t see it.
“I have said so several times over the last 13 years that the media considers the importance of the following:
Share holders
Stakeholder
Advertisers
As such the people are a distant fourth, I saw this for over a decade and as people agree or disagree is fine.”
This stuck with me in the last few days and this night it came to blows with other thoughts. First we see:
And last
Now this is mere social media (to some junk), but going back to October 6th 2024 when I wrote ‘Is it merely political?’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2024/10/06/is-it-merely-political/) things started to click. You see there I wrote towards an article by Politico, where I considered the text “A loophole allows middlemen in countries like Turkey, China and India to refine Russian oil in petrol and diesel before selling it elsewhere — exempt from sanctions. According to a report first seen by POLITICO, Western countries spent $2 billion on this rebranded fuel in the first half of 2024”, the part I never really considered was that this loophole had been place for some time. And as I see it, it was likely created in the days that Iran needed that loophole. So now you have the parts.
What I considered in the last few parts is that the world (not just America) is under attack by what Sun Tzu called ‘Inward spies’ Sun Tzu saw them as spies, double agents for the enemy, gathering intel of your forces. He never considered that organizations and governments would collide at some point and as I see it that these inward spies are now known as stakeholders. They influence via means, usually for organisations and sometimes governments to dial it up, or down as the setting requires. So a ‘leftist’ stakeholder would ‘represent’ their interest and at times, a grocery store like NIOC. We never (or better stated ‘I never’) considered it until now and I reckon that the last setting where we see the last ‘Tweet’ from a White House correspondent no less with the text “but we had already uncovered its conspiracies back in March!”, so is this a lie (likely) or are stakeholders reporting back a lot more than we are happy about? The last part is less likely but not impossible, as such it becomes more and more important to map out these stakeholders and the connections that they are entertaining.
So am I crazy or did my brain stumble upon something? Is there a setting where stakeholders get a lot more from some interested parties? I cannot tell, but as I see it, and as I have seen what stakeholders regard as ‘their’ mission in life which usually involves money and power (read: connections) and at that point it doesn’t matter what their goals are, they are actively propagating a terrorist state, a government ploy that has been progressing terrorist organisations all over the middle east. Or did you think that all these rockets delivered to Hamas and Houthi terrorists are as cheap as a pack of milk? Some of them range between $100,000 and $1,000,000 and it varies with the range and payload. I haven’t forgotten about Hezbollah and did someone make an actual invoice of that? Consider what revenue Iran has and soon you will see that the equation doesn’t work. It hasn’t worked for years. So what gives and why isn’t the media digging into this? I can give you one speculation. There is every chance that their focal points are changed by stakeholders. They merely voice where the media needs to look and with advertisement stretches they are eager to increase revenue (and change focal points).
So am I crazy? (In my defense, I am not crazy, I am an airplane: whoooooosh). And as I can still make fun of myself (my favourite subject), there is every chance that I am not crazy. That doesn’t mean that my assessment is correct. One does not imply the other and my version of what is, is highly speculative.
So take this for what it is. A almost simple thought, yet I am doing it on paper, so that when the time comes and the media comes with ‘an exclusive’ I can state that I got there way before them). So now that I got that of my chest I might be able to get a few hours of sleep. It is 03:15 here now and I don’t want to wait for breakfast as that is a little over 300 minutes away.
So have a great day and consider what you could do in that time, you might have guessed it, it is lunchtime in Toronto, save me some poutine will you?
That was the setting I saw last night. It was after the article I wrote yesterday, and the article (at https://www.hrdive.com/news/leaders-who-laid-off-workers-due-to-ai-regretted-it/746643/) was written a few months before that. Yet it is important, because it gives me the ‘gratification’ (of sorts) that I was correct in a few way. The article called ‘More than half of leaders who laid off workers due to AI admit to screwing up’ and it comes with the byline of “Employers’ zeal for replacing humans with tech has run up against a lack of guardrails, training and clear policies around its usage” you could counter against that in a few ways and that would be OK. The part that I see as important is seen in a few ways. In the first we are given “About 4 in 10 business leaders have laid off employees as a result of deploying AI — and of those, 55% admit they made the wrong decisions about it, according to a recent survey of more than 1,000 business leaders by organizational design and planning software platform Orgvue.” It leaves me with questions. You see, on the lighter setting it sounds like a lot, but in what area where these business leaders? 55% made the wrong decision, but is it on the setting of a thousand business leaders? Or merely 150 in tourism, or 450 in tech? A top-line reference is as shallow as stating that all female pisces are prone to adultery (a GSS89, or General Social Survey joke). It is the full view we need (even if it supports my views). We are also given “Leaders also admitted to a lack of awareness on how to implement AI. One quarter said they didn’t know which roles would benefit most from AI, nearly a third didn’t know which are most at risk for automation, and 35% said lack of AI expertise was a barrier to successful deployment.” Fits the view I gave yesterday, but lacking a full view is required to give it weight. The setting of “which are most at risk for automation” requires additional awareness and the likely lack there can be shifted in nearly all directions. That being said 35% is a really large group and lacking awareness is also lacking insight into data and there verification comes into play making the lack of insight contributes to several fields and there this field merely shows more and more lack of data and awareness insight. And there the last part gets into view “leaders remain bullish on AI, the survey showed; 3 in 4 leaders said their company would be “taking full advantage” of AI by the end of the year, and 4 in 5 said they’d increase their investments this year.” So consider that in light of the lacking parts of this 3 out of 4 leader? So consider that the lack of AI and even a lack of understanding is pushing Near Intelligent Parsing (NIP) into the larger frame, as I see it without data verification and without the settings of ethical and see through constraints of data awareness. So without that, without any of that, close to 80% (4 in 5) are set to believe that there is an increase of investment? How delusional do you need to get? So whilst we see “Fearful of being left behind, employers have leaned heavily into AI over the past year.” Is this really where the FOMO people are? Is it fear of missing out, or the larger need to appease the revenue depending people? A setting where we appeal to reaching revenue against insight into how to get there, against free and gambling? Your guess is as good as mine, but in the shallow dismissal of people all over the tech field. Where we see Microsoft, Amazon, AWS, Meta and Google dismissing staff we see the emergence of a new fact. Those who are thinking this through are set in a new field. The field where hundreds of people are left outside alone, with decades of insight as the people who try to get clever with a non-existent AI will lose out to the people they fired with the decades of experience. As such the people (like Aramco and ADNOC) needing thousands of jobs and as people are getting shafted, plenty of people will look towards those regions gaining income and helping these companies getting the decades of experience pretty much overnight. That slight with the other sides will give others a larger advantage, all whilst those ‘relying’ on AI will lose more and more ground. Not the greatest of settings for these companies. So all whilst you are feasting to be dismissed, consider the door they are opening to several places and several new venues.
Do you still think I was foolish, or are facts starting to add up towards the hype some are (speculatively) falsely creating?
Have a great day and consider that Yas Island (ADNOC) is a comfortable 35-40 degrees and has 5 theme parks. I reckon not the worst setting to find a new vocation (if you have something they need) and as the west will massively learn the hard way having choices afterwards is not the worst setting either. As I said, have a great day.
That is on the table and it started 3 days when I wrote ‘The changing of games’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/06/13/the-changing-of-games/) Here I showed the setting that Microsoft opened itself to and Denmark is not the only one. There is a larger setting that America is no longer the go-to guy for European business. It is not a setting President Trump was looking for, but then he never anticipated that Microsoft would back a solution (builder.ai) with at the core a stated 700 engineers. Trust me, it matters (trusting me is always up in the air). You see, Europe and other places are now suddenly reminded how Microsoft got to the top and innovation is not the first ‘setting’ that comes to mind. Netscape and the Wordperfect corporation comes to mind in the first instance. You see, I never got to the top of anything. In part because I never heralded the limelight, in part because the people who got there feared me. I don’t back down (ever) from the setting of supporting solutions for good instead of what was politically convenient. And I am not alone., thousands of tech support and customer care people are n my side and they can now dish up the past and hit certain players where it hurts.
So now we get to TechRadar and its slightly taste adjusted setting. The story (at https://www.techradar.com/pro/denmark-wants-to-replace-windows-and-office-with-linux-and-libreoffice-as-it-seeks-to-embrace-digital-sovereignty) gives us ‘Denmark wants to replace Windows and Office with Linux and LibreOffice as it seeks to embrace digital sovereignty’ a mere 18 hours ago. It has the byline “Denmark bets big on open source revolution and control”. You see, I don’t think it is a big bet. Since the end of the 90’s when times and budgets were good, the IT setting (not merely Microsoft) was to instigate an IT armistice race and those times are gone. So whist certain players went to the ‘safety’ on IT armistice, the governments merely accepted the setting that this is how it was supposed to be, never realising they had other chances. And as I personally see it Microsoft turned that tap off towards others and redirected it to themselves. This is basically how multi-trillion companies are made. Yet the underlying setting is that there was always a larger field and Microsoft was not it. Or better stated Microsoft was not alone here, they merely tempered the setting for themselves, as this setting was never anticipated. A President that shallowed expenses and a larger premise to self. So whilst Denmark was being treated that America wants Greenland as allegedly houses a wealth of minerals, Denmark decided to look what could be done and so they did and in the process woke up Dutch politicians as well. So here we are seeing “Denmark is embarking on an ambitious effort to reduce its reliance on proprietary software from foreign tech giants by transitioning its government systems away from Microsoft offerings Windows and Office 365. The Danish Ministry of Digitalization reportedly plans a phased migration to Linux operating systems and LibreOffice for office productivity.” And as I personally see it, TechRadar is adding the ‘ambitious part’ for non-sentimental reasons. This setting was thwarted by Microsoft in the late 90’s and now they are less likely to succeed as the political field has changed. As I remember open Office is still a direction that is open. As Microsoft closes sluices they couldn’t close them all and now these sluices are the key to lose dependency to Microsoft. And here we see “The core objective, according to Minister Caroline Stage, is strategic: to safeguard Denmark’s digital infrastructure from the uncertainties of geopolitical tensions and the risk of disrupted access to US-based services.” Which is massively bad news for Microsoft because this is the one instance where they never had to protect their home guard before and here those tech support and customer care people will side with Denmark. The people Microsoft cut loose and away as it they didn’t see eye to eye to the larger need of Microsoft, those people will laugh out loud to the lacking needs of Microsoft minded people. In retrospect I saw this coming, but not in this form and not to the degree it will be hitting US-shored businesses. As such we get a few more settings, they all sound bad for Microsoft and it will enhance the needs of IBM and Oracle as they seek European sides to their business. And as we read in, we see the third player to this event. It is shown with “Denmark’s initiative is not without precedent. More than a decade ago, Germany, most notably the city of Munich, attempted to replace Microsoft products with Linux and LibreOffice.” And in that same setting, I remember that a France location had a similar idea, which is likely to have connections to Monaco and Luxembourg. As such Europe goes from 1 to 5 players and the impact on America will not be without consequences. And where TechRadar gives us, without sources “The Danish government, however, appears to be proceeding with greater caution. The rollout will be gradual, and the ministry has stated that it will temporarily revert to Microsoft tools if serious disruptions arise.” This part actually reads like a ‘divert or lose’ situation and Microsoft needs to take heed as this comes with a larger setting. You see, there is an upside for the Netherlands and out reflects back to the Wordperfect Corporation. America made Wordperfect a solution from Utah and it reflected that it was to be put down, but the Dutch had reasons for this solution. It was the first serious solution that perfectly converted syntax’s into Dutch and they had reasons to be proud as the ‘older’ reason is set to the proverbial English setting of 40,000 words and 800 exceptions to the Dutch setting of 800 words and 40,000 exceptions. You see, that was the larger conundrum and that small company in Utah figured the solutions out and that is the larger setting. Getting from Dutch to German, French and English is a breeze (as the depression goes) and after all these years. Did Microsoft protect that IP by paying for these fees year after year? I doubt it, Microsoft is at best a greedy user and it had cut off these fees after at least a decade setting them short by a decade at the very least and that is where these techies come in. They still have the bad feelings of getting cut short with the little retirement fees they were handed and they will massively support any anti-Microsoft feelings they see. So, when your birds come home to roost, they really will have a party.
I feel that TechRadar was ‘spicing’ it up with “Compatibility with Microsoft Office documents and user adaptation to a new interface may pose significant challenges.” I doubt it will be very hard. Open Office had things brewing in 2012 when they were the number one challenge and these files have not been upgraded much. The larger setting is in newer files that has solutions in place that old ones didn’t, but as far as I can tell aside from Excel files, most files can be ‘altered’ to another solution. Consider that Google Docs, Apple Pages and a few others have little to no problems to read word files. Google Sheets and Apple Numbers can for the most read Excel files and I will give Microsoft the benefit of the doubt that Excel is way advanced to those two solutions, but with the gathered intel from them and OpenOffice there are little snags to be expected. When you see that and the joke that PowerPoint has basically become that most of this setting is close to academic. There is a chance that SAP will have to ‘shed’ its neutrality by claiming it is important for its SAP Dashboard to stay with Excel as it is ‘important’ (I merely think that XCelcius was the go to solution with Excel ad that is basically what SAP Dashboard is) and they will shed that when they see the damage they will do to themselves. As I personally see it Google Sheets could step in there. So as Microsoft will be losing 50% of their solutions, the larger demise will start.
Whilst Wiki is not really a dependable source as it has no real academic value, it does serve its purpose and (at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WordPerfect) we get to see “In November 2004, Novell filed an antitrust lawsuit against Microsoft for alleged anti-competitive behavior (such as tying Word to sales of Windows and withdrawal of support for APIs) that Novell claims led to loss of WordPerfect market share. That lawsuit, after several delays, was dismissed in July 2012. Novell filed an appeal from the judgment in November 2012, but the Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit affirmed. Novell sought review in the US Supreme Court, but in 2014 that court declined to hear the case, ending the legal action almost a decade after it had begun.” It isn’t what it states, it shows that the Novell vs Microsoft antitrust lawsuit gives Denmark the blanket it needs. I remember the massive setting the WP6 for Windows had and Microsoft used that to push its own solution (Word) and when we see this, we see that Microsoft has a government wheelbarrow (if that expression is still used) and as such Denmark has another handle to shed Microsoft (as have the other four). As I see it, in a decade the laws were meant to protect America solutions, and now we get the Canadian setting of Alludo. A Canadian firm no less and as Wordperfect is still under in France, another side opens up. And it doesn’t look good for Microsoft as the niches they created unite as one bubble against Microsoft and America. There is every chance that we will get to see new innovation but no longer in the hands of Microsoft and whilst this happens Microsoft loses market share after market share.
And as Windows support ends, the people considering shift will merely increase. As such after this I wonder if there is any case left for Azure. It makes you feel blue (and not in a good way) leaving larger gaps for players like Oracle and AWS to step in. Yes they are American, but they at least have had the good of any corporation in view of the needs of their solutions and that is where Denmark might make choices as long as these two have European clouds in mind. As fast as as I see it, they do and as Europe shift, the Arabian peninsula does to.
As this happens in my lifetime gives me a tear of joy. They say pride cometh before the fall and as I see it Microsoft will have a long way to fall down (the boom of impact might be the first boom that is globally felt and heard) as such there is a lot to be seen and soon as Satya Nadella gives ‘us’ the need for ‘friendly cooperation’ will be the first setting that is laughed away by some, but when the company is seen as ‘in danger’ it will be the first massive hit to any American operation and that will set a larger scene (what that scene is, I have no idea. As I see it, this has never happened before) and as Microsoft goes, Apple will shortly follow. It quite literally will be left without option.
So have a great day and if you are in Abu Dhabi, enjoy the Chicken Shawarma as it is lunch time there now. Have a fun day
Today I fought through a memory block. My mind kept on playing a classical beat, it played for several notes and that was it. I had no idea why I got this setting and I had to beat my own brain and after a little time I found the solution. I heard the classical beat of the Count of Monte Christo, the 2002 edition. It was the scene where the invitations were handed out to the people and the balloon arrives. Now, the setting comes as to why. At first I had no idea, but then it hit me. The book has sold over 200 million copies. But that was not enough. There was another setting and I wrote about it a few months ago. The setting was that what was merely Apple, could now be set to Meta glasses and other means. I reckon that Huawei will bring its own version in due time. But the setting that to merely accept one source (Ubisoft) to give it the upper hand is somewhat foolish. So I got to thinking that this book might inspire the option of learning French and that is where we set the marker. Consider that the book could inspire people to learn French. This ‘lesson’ system is nothing like the real book. It is the setting that it gives the reader. The introduction is until you get to Chateau D’iff. There the lessons start. The 14 years are 14 lessons around the prison cell. The setting is that each ‘year’ will give you lessons. One year on numbers, days, times, and such. one year on family names and ranks. The setting that we get asks and lessons and as we complete them we get to the better stuff. The 14th lesson is about escape and getting to the treasure.
From that part the lessons get a rather tasty setting. Now you have to mingle in the crowds, converse with the ‘people’ and see the lessons through. I was thinking to take a lessons based on the Chamberlain version of the movie (1975). Where Danglars (Donald Pleasence) is ruined in a few ways and that might be a nice way to ‘expose’ the French banking system and communications in the old days. The idea is to set the ‘game’ to 30-35 lessons (including the time on Chateau D’iff. There are still a few snags in my mind on how to set the stage, but the setting becomes that these VisionPro/META Quest Pro devices becomes the next iteration of a learning tool. Ubisoft might still have the inner track lading, but the idea that other settings could be versed will propagate the setting as these vision settings could be a learning device. Ans as it all runs on Unreal Engine 5 with added linguistic settings (optionally microphone and speakers) there is a larger setting that can be explored. Alexandre Dumas gives us French (and perhaps others too) like Victor Hugo (Les Miserables) and a few other come to mind. I don’t want to focus on merely French as we have English (John Le Carre), Italian (Umberto Eco), Spanish (Miguel de Cervantes) and a few more. In this setting and in the setting of each book, we get to dig into that nations culture and we get to explore the languages we can learn. The benefit is that this path is highly interactive, so people can learn on their own. That is the larger setting, the path of languages can only be learned through interactions and that is the larger benefit. A setting where the start of one book is the stage where millions can learn a language mostly up to intermediate skills. Yes, you will need to interact with others, and that is what I have in mind for the languages when completed. A setting where we can get multiple people in one place, like the house of the Count of Monte Christo and there we can test our knowledge and this place will remain ‘open’ for a while. Yet when you ‘redo’ the language lessons, that access will stop until all the lessons are done again. And there you have a larger setting. A language class that allows you to redo as often as needed to gain all the skills you need. I reckon that when the system had grown to include Chinese, Japanese and Arabic, the maker of these classes will have a massive following. And this is not all ‘business’ consider the classical languages like Greek and Latin. There are a lot of options in that stage and when you consider the input with these vision bringers. The one who considers that action might get millions of sold devices. In light of the Apple data that we see that Apple has likely sold under 500,000 Vision Pro units worldwide since its launch in February 2024, I wonder what the hell they are doing there. Is my idea delusional? It could be, not every innovation imagined is one that will actually work, but as I see it, the larger setting could be reached. Wouldn’t it be great if META succeeds where Apple fails? It is not one or the other. The setting as I see it could be applied to either solution and I reckon that whatever Huawei brings could set this as well, but that is mere speculation on my side. So whilst sources gave us in January 2025 ‘Apple reportedly ceases Vision Pro production amid sluggish sales’, so where were these super intelligent boffins? What stopped them from taking the next step? Were they thinking ‘Here’s a device, make some software.’ If that worked the software library of Sony and Nintendo would have never made it to today. That oversight and here I am giving them (supposedly) direction.
So consider what I wrote and consider where your problems and solutions are. Have a fun day today.
Yup, I’m gonna go there. Two ideas, one I already discussed and as I couldn’t find it I might want to re-discuss and the second one I came up with seeing something last night. That second one is the first one I discuss. It will give developers for Android, iOS and HarmonyNext the option to spread their wings and make a few millions. You see, I am not much of a programmer, I was on databases, but I left that game decades ago. So I can sit on the idea, or give you programmer lot a nice setting of millions and that is the stage where you merely charge one dollar for the app per sold installation. Wouldn’t it be nice to get a few million by being adhering to the need of others?
So as I was watching some walkthrough video of the Carrefour in Dubai, It hit me that the people at vacations and business travel have needs, they need stuff, but at times you need to keep your mind in the game and that is where you come in. Consider that you are shopping for razorblades, sparkling water, fruit juice and perhaps piece of meat as you are in a place where there is a kitchen. So what to get? Well this is where your mobile comes in. As you place the camera on the item, it will scan the sticker on the camera, the text is seen (it is already possible to do this), but the setting that is not done is that the local price is set to your local currency so you will see what everything costs. As I see it, you will have your local currency, say Australian dollars and the price we see is 6.99 (which would be Dirham in Dubai), the app will tell you that this is A$ 2.92, so now you know. And as I see it, there is a setting page which can give you the two currencies and at that point the scanner will give you the transfer almost immediately, not head scratching on what it might be, you will see immediately. As far as I can tell Android doesn’t have it, so likely the other two don’t either. And you are merely catering to the millions of tourists the world have. The calculations of two currencies are out there already and you merely need to get the connection working and million of tourists will be grateful. All these people ready to hand over a dollar for your hard work and they will be there in the millions. You might want to make it $2, but I reckon not much higher. You see, when the price goes up too much people will hesitate. From the $1 idea of it being a great deal to the $3 when people start considering ‘do I really need this’ and that is the path you want to avoid. Also the coming in after you don’t get the vibe ‘I can do this cheaper’ and before you know it, you are in a digital armistice race and you don’t want that.
A simple app that apparently no one sees and people need it. Consider any tourist that has been in a shop. They all thought “What does that cost in my currency?” I have had it and if you have been on vacation you did too. Even if it is as simple as the price of Beer/Wine.
See if you can make it work and have a nice day making the next app people need on their mobiles.
In September 2024 I wrote ‘Your (starting) fame on timing’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2024/09/05/your-starting-fame-on-timing/) where I gave the readers a similar idea for time. You see, what people forget is that when they travel, or have international contacts they need to be in touch with people outside their time zone and there the issue is seen when you don’t have direct view of these timezones. A simple app (or faceplate) optionally using the widget on the phone to set those times to the watch. I reckon that those who need it might also pay a dollar for that idea, especially if it synchs mobile settings. The idea is in that story, so have fun with that. It is merely a giveaway as I don’t have the setting to do it myself. Oh, and feel free if you make over 10 million, to ‘donate’ up to 20%, a mere request not a demand. As I have no grounds of demanding anything. I put this on my blog, as such it becomes freeware.
Two ideas, optionally making you an instant millionaire. Who doesn’t want that? You gotta start at some point and it might as well be here.
