When a cigar is anything but

That is the expression as I see it. It is based on the freud premise of ‘Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar’ And it fits the setting. You see, on August 31st I wrote ‘The wave of brains’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/08/31/the-wave-of-brains/)

I set up a new RPG game, a new gaming IP and in a non-related issue I accidentally clicked on the ‘Grok’ button, which gave me a new setting on me. Now I did it intentionally and it gave me a few items, it also gave me an idea I did not have before. The idea came from my school days (my merchant navy school days) and it came to me that the idea could have multiple applications. 

So as I was ‘given’:

Based on the blog post linked in Lawrence Van Rijn’s X post, the envisioned Mars RPG game appears to combine survival, exploration, and narrative-driven gameplay with unique mechanics that tie into its sci-fi setting and real-world geopolitical commentary. Since the post outlines an idea rather than a fully developed game, I’ll extrapolate the mechanics from the described concepts, filling in logical details where necessary. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the potential game mechanics:

1. Survival and Resource Management
Core Systems Dependency: The game begins with the player as an amnesiac astronaut in a detainment center on Mars, reliant on self-sustaining systems for oxygen, water, and nourishment. Players must learn and maintain these systems (e.g., repairing oxygen generators or water purifiers) to survive. This introduces a tutorial phase where resource management is hands-on, with limited initial supplies forcing prioritization.
Energy Constraints: Power is a scarce resource, with the fusion reactor offline due to a crash-induced brownout. Players must restore solar panels or alternative energy sources (e.g., a larger energy dump mentioned in the post) to expand operations, creating a strategic layer where energy allocation (e.g., to life support vs. droid activation) impacts survival.
Time Pressure: The narrative hints at a finite water supply (a few days’ worth), adding urgency. Players must balance exploration and repairs under a ticking clock, with failure leading to resource depletion and potential death or mission failure.

Sanity and Morale: Drawing from the post’s mention of supporting 10,000 people’s sanity across three domes, individual colonists (or the player) might have stats like sanity, comfort, and health, affected by isolation, resource scarcity, or horrific discoveries (e.g., mass corpses). Managing these stats could involve crafting morale-boosting items or completing narrative-driven tasks.

4. Narrative and Lore Integration
Mystery and Event System: Inspired by games like Surviving Mars, the game includes “mysteries” tied to the crashed Earth ark ship. Events such as alien contact, AI revolts, or rival corporate interference could trigger dynamically, requiring player decisions that shape the story (e.g., negotiating with an AI or fighting security droids).
Geopolitical Lore Updates: The post suggests real-time news integration via a “NIP (near Intelligent Parsing) system” to reflect events like U.S. debt crises or BRICS power shifts. This could manifest as in-game news broadcasts, colonist dialogues, or mission objectives that evolve with global events, making each play through reflect the current date (e.g., October 2025’s economic tensions).

5. Combat and Security
Emerging Threats: The post hints at security and battle droids as future hazards, suggesting a combat mechanic. Players might craft or find weapons (e.g., from the shipwreck) to defend against rogue droids or environmental dangers (e.g., dust storms), with combat tied to resource costs (e.g., ammo or energy).
Strategic Defense: As the colony grows, players may need to fortify domes against external threats (e.g., the crashed ship’s survivors or alien entities), adding a base-building or defensive strategy layer.

6. Crafting and Customization
Ship Repair Goal: The ultimate objective is to repair the broken ship parts scattered across Mars, requiring players to gather materials and craft tools or gadgets (e.g., a flashlight for night exploration, as seen in similar survival games). This aligns with the post’s focus on self-reliance.
Equipment Upgrades: Players can customize their character’s gear or droid capabilities, enhancing survival odds in harsh Martian conditions (e.g., radiation suits or enhanced droid AI).

7. Multi-Dome Ecosystem
Interconnected Domes: The three domes (detainment, retail, civilian) form a network where actions in one affect others (e.g., restoring power in one dome boosts water production in another). Players must manage this ecosystem, balancing population needs (up to 5,000) and resource flows.
Population Dynamics: If the game includes NPC colonists (martian-born or revived identities), their traits and morale could influence productivity or trigger events, adding a social simulation layer akin to Surviving Mars or Tropico.

Potential Challenges and Balance
Complexity: Balancing survival (resource timers), exploration (droid management), and narrative (lore integration) could overwhelm players. A phased difficulty curve—starting with basic survival, then adding combat and geopolitics—might help.
Replayability: The real-time news integration and multiple identity paths could encourage replay, but random events (e.g., meteor storms or AI revolts) would need to be varied to maintain interest.
Technical Feasibility: Parsing live news into a coherent game narrative via NIP systems would require robust AI, potentially straining development resources unless partnered with a news aggregator.

And there was more, but this gave me a few ideas. In the late 70’s there was something called RADAR scan transmissions. It used a RADAR to send communications around, I never saw it myself but I heard of it. Now consider that some use display software to use it in another way. Like the setting of images that are used (through personalised filters) to create art. That setting can be used in two ways, to rely on the art to help you find stuff, or the camera and filters to see other places. For instance scanning a picture might give you location data, images could given you personal references. That might be used in higher skill levels to make the game more challenging. For example the image of a droid hight give you the Droid Identification Number (DIN) is a unique 17-character code used to identify a specific droid, similar to a droid’s fingerprint. These are some of the settings that can be used to find other places and other (not in THAT dome) places. Certain cameras now have identifiers and some of that can be embedded in images. It allows for scanners to identify elements and we can use that to gain access to some places in a dome not considered before. 

These are some of the ideas that bring a stronger presence of gaming IP and when the IP is powerful enough, you get a new following and a stronger franchise. A stronger franchise was not my idea as a game needs to have an end and going on and on is not my way, but a stringer presence for any IP is always welcome and I found that setting as I was researching the Grok output. I had actually not anticipated that idea. Whatever will I think of next? 

Yet the setting of a larger technology presence was always my plan as I see that when too much of the SciFi becomes Fi, Fiction leads to fantasy and I am not against it, but I feel the need to adhere to a larger input of science and as my grandfather used to say, there is no place for science in Tartarus. Grandpapa was probably right. There is also a need for weapons, but not essentially personal weapons. The need to set traps might make a better droid killer than anything I could think of, but how to do that? Well, there are a few settings and only needed for security and military droids, the rest is basically harmless. The benefit of that, is that you will need to play strict rules with the stuff you find. And as the astronaut (played by you) might be a dunes in this regard, the need to create books or instruction discs that can be put into a viewer so that you gain these skills. For that I have a setting of multiple helmets (sprayed all over the game), some are mental and other helmets are suit connected systems string the knowledge to your body. In context (speculatively) Microsoft took years to launch a reboot of Fable (which was an awesome game) I wrote in months the setting of an entirely new RPG, so there. And should you doubt this (that would be a fair call), I have done this 4 times already. So where it there non existing AI now? 

So as they invaded the sanctity of my gaming life, I gave my gaming IP to everyone else, so where are their billons now? Whilst they aren’t getting it done, all the others will get a head start to gain momentum. That is how I roll (I am a vindictive bastard at times).

So back to the game. As I see other avenues to thwart detection, I am also setting the idea to make you viral into the security offices to set your ID to a ‘allowed and safe’ setting. The other systems will allow you to go outside the dome to repair and connect solar panels and as Mars gets a mere 44%, more panels are needed. In the later stages you will have to repair a fusion reactor (with a little snag or two). Oh, that reminds me, there will be a setting for survivors (a salute to System Shock), but that will take a little more time.

All this and more are now settling in my brain and as the ride between the domes gets to be repaired, I just thought of a new setting for the third dome, there is no absence of energy, but a massive abundance of energy which gave that dome its own problems and as such so will you. Just like Soap

Perhaps you remember the 80’s series soap. Someone made a sitcom of the most hilarious settings and took it up a notch, the series was called soap and people loved it, it did nearly everything right, but over time this bubble went, just like all the other soap bubbles tend to go and that is OK, the made their mark and we felt fine. There is another bubble. It is not as good. There is the mortgage bubble, the housing bubble (they were not the same), the economy bubble and all these bubbles come with an aftermath. Now we see the AI bubble and I predicted this as early as January 29th of this year in ‘And the bubble said ‘Bang’’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/01/29/and-the-bubble-said-bang/) and my setting is that AI does not yet exist, as I saw it, for the most, it is the construct of lazy salespeople who couldn’t be bothered to do their work and created the AI ‘Fab’ and hauled it over to fit their needs. Let’s be clear. There is no AI and when I use it I know that ‘the best’ I am doing is avoid a long discussion about how great DML and LLM are, because they are and it is amazing. And as these settings are correctly used, it will create millions if not billions in revenue. I got the idea to overhaul the Amazon system and let them optionally create online panels that could bank them billions, which I did in ‘Under Conceptual Construction’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/10/10/under-conceptual-construction/) and ‘Prolonging the idea’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/10/12/prolonging-the-idea/) which I wrote yesterday (almost 16 hours ago). I also gave light to an amazing lost and found idea which would cater to the needs of Airports and bus terminals. I saw that presentation and it was an amazing setting in what I still call NIP (Near Intelligent Parsing) in ‘That one idea’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2025/09/26/that-one-idea/) these are mere settings and they could be market changes. This is the proper use of IT to the next setting of automation. But the underlying bubble still exists, I merely don’t feed that beast, so when the BBC last night gave us all ‘‘It’s going to be really bad’: Fears over AI bubble bursting grow in Silicon Valley’ almost 2 days ago (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz69qy760weo) I saw the sparkly setting of soap bubbles erupt and I thought ‘That did not take long’. My setting was that AI (the real AI as Alan Turing saw it) was not ready yet. The small setting that at least three parts in IT did not yet exist. There is the true power of Quantum computing and as I see it quantum computers are real, but they are in the early stages of development and are not yet as powerful as future versions should be and for that, so as IBM rolls out their second system on the IBM Heron platform, we are getting there. It is called the IBM’s 156-qubit IBM Quantum Heron, just don’t get your hopes up, not too many can afford that platform. IBM keels it modes and gives us that “The computer, called Starling, is set to launch by 2029. The quantum computer will reside in IBM’s new quantum data center in upstate New York and is expected to perform 20,000 more operations than today’s quantum computers” I am not holding me credit card to account to that beauty. If at all possible, the only two people on the planet that can afford that setting are Elon Musk and Larry Ellison and Larry might buy it to see Oracle power at actual quantum speed and he will do it, to see quantum speed came to him in his lifetime. The man is 81 after all (so, he is no longer a teenager), If I had that kind of money (250,000 million) I would do it to, just so to see what this world has achieved. But the article (the BBC one) gives us ““I know it’s tempting to write the bubble story,” Mr Altman told me as he sat flanked by his top lieutenants. “In fact, there are many parts of AI that I think are kind of bubbly right now.”

In Silicon Valley, the debate over whether AI companies are overvalued has taken on a new urgency. Skeptics are privately – and some now publicly – asking whether the rapid rise in the value of AI tech companies may be, at least in part, the result of what they call “financial engineering”.” And the BBC is not wrong, we had a write-off in January of a trillion dollars and a few days ago another one of 1.5 trillion dollars. I would be willing to call that ‘Financial Engineering’ and that rapid rise? Call it the greedy need of salespeople getting their audience in a frenzy 

I merely gave a few examples of what DML and LLM could achieve and getting a lost and found department set from weeks into minutes is quite the achievement and I reckon that places like JFK, Heathrow and Dubai Airport would jump at the chance to arrange a better lost and found department and they are not alone but one has to wonder how the market can write off trillions in merely two events. So when we get to

“In recent days, warnings of an AI bubble have come from the Bank of England, the International Monetary Fund, as well as JP Morgan boss Jamie Dimon who told the BBC “the level of uncertainty should be higher in most people’s minds”. And here, in what is often considered the tech capital of the world, concerns are growing. At a panel discussion at Silicon Valley’s Computer History Museum this week, early AI entrepreneur Jerry Kaplan told a packed audience he has lived through four bubbles. He’s especially concerned now given the magnitude of money on the table as compared to the dot-com boom. There’s so much more to lose. “When [the bubble] breaks, it’s going to be really bad, and not just for people in AI,” he said.”

He is not wrong. Consider the next one amounting to a speculated two trillion (or $2,000,000,000,000) when it hits, it could wipe out retirement savings of nearly everyone for years. So how do you feel about your retirement being written off for decades? When you are 80+ and you have millions upon millions you are just fine and that is merely 2-5 people, the other 8,200,000,000 people? The young will be fine, and over 4 billion will be too young to care about their retirement, but the rest? Good luck I say.

So what will happen to Stargate ($500B) when that bubble goes? I already see it as a failure as the required power settings will not be able to fuel this, apart from the need of hundreds of validators and their systems require power too, then we see Microsoft thinking (and telling us) it is the next big thing, all whilst basic settings aren’t out yet. Did anyone see the need for Shallow Circuits? Or the applied versions of Leon Lederman? No one realizes that he held the foundational setting of AI in Quantum computing. You see (as I personally see it) AI cannot really work in Binary technology, it requires a trinary setting, a simple stage of True, False and Both. It would allow for trinary settings, because it isn’t always True or False, we learn that the hard way, but in IT we accept it. That setting will come to blow when we get to the real AI part of it and that is why I (in part) the AI coffee being served in all places. And I like my sarcasm really hot (with two raw sugar and full cream milk)

That is the setting we face and whilst some will call the BBC article ‘doom speak’ I see it for what it is, a reminder that the AI frenzy is sales driven and whilst people are eager to forget the simplest setting, the real deal of Microsoft and Builder.AI is simply the setting that at present we are confronted with IT engineers making the decisions for us and the amount of class actions coming to the world in 2027 and 2028 (optionally as early as 2026) and as some cases are drawn out even yesterday (see https://authorsguild.org/news/ai-class-action-lawsuits/ for details) you need to realise that this bubble was orchestrated and as such I like the term ‘Financial Engineering’ so be good and use the NIP setting properly and feel free to be creative, I was and gave Amazon an idea that could bank it billions. But not all ideas are golden and I am willing to see that I am not the carrier of golden ideas, the fact that someone saw the Lost and Found setting is proof of that.

Prolonging the idea

Two days ago I had an idea that could set a new technology marker towards Market Research. The idea is to use agentic set and seeded data for use of MR, but it was one that had a few kinks in that armor. There would be a tremendous amount of catering towards ethical borders and as I know the people in the world. They do not tend to align themselves towards ethicality (not when there are dollars involved). So my mind worked on the background on that problem and whilst I was traversing the Iceland Ring road (aka Route 1) around the 490 mile marker my mind figured something out. You see, why set this to ‘everyone’ whilst there is a setting that Amazon with their AWS and a population of 300-310 million active users could be the foundation of a research pool of panelists. So in short, they could ‘entice’ people to become part of an online panel. And for every questionnaire they complete, they get a token (aka Amazon dime), so ten dimes make for an Amazon dollar (aka 10% discount voucher) and so on. So it all depends on what the person wants to spend it on, the vouchers have a 6 month validity setting and the dimes have a year validity. So 10 questionnaires in a year and you have an optional setting with over 300 million active users. 

So, when an active user becomes a participant, a unique number is created in the Amazon system and attached to the person. It is hidden to all but the Amazon ‘insiders’ not even the client sees this number. So when a list of participants is created, this is all inside the Amazon system. So (as my humor goes) a list of American anti alcoholics who are not pregnant and have their own liquor license and that ‘search’ reveals the panelists available. They will get the OK signal and it is attached to their panel account. The Researcher will submit the questionnaire to the Amazon system (which is hosting options like Survey monkey and other solutions) and that questionnaire is set online. The researcher gets all the data with only the created Participant ID and that is the short of it.

So, the completion of the questionnaire is the participants signal with get that person the token, The data m moment gets the researcher all the data and the completion of that projects wipes the questionnaire into a bulk storage setting. The data delivery data is also maintained and that sets the entire process into a complete stage, I am in favor of keeping this all in other places (in Amazon) for historic purposes and that hands Amazon the keys to Market research, government research and that all should hand Amazon a nice additional revenue which it was never on its books (as far as I know). So in a day and age where people are search for some AI setting, I merely saw a tool to be created and handed to legacy data.

I reckon that this will give Amazon a few billions, and with over 300 millions people, many who will jump at the chance of sacrificing mere minutes to complete questionnaires for Amazon tokens, the options are nearly limitless, or so thinks me. And this is as I see it a global solution, all set to achieved data and the option to clean their data in the process.

Another hour, another dollar I say, but lets face it, it is Sunday, so it is this or contemplating the sins I have been involved in and I do not have that kind of time available, so designing new data solutions it is. Have a somewhat nice day today.

The dams are cracking

Yes, that is the setting I saw coming, but there is always ‘space’ for interpretation and at present we see two stories that seem to illustrate this. The first one is given by the BBC (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cly17834524o0 where we see ‘Tech billionaires seem to be doom prepping. Should we all be worried?’ It is a question to have, but what does the article ‘bare’ out? It is not that basic or simple. First we are given “Mark Zuckerberg is said to have started work on Koolau Ranch, his sprawling 1,400-acre compound on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, as far back as 2014.” So, he had 11 years? Seems like overly ‘doom prepping to me’ (is this sarcasm or satire?) The additional setting is “The underground space spanning some 5,000 square feet is, he explained, “just like a little shelter, it’s like a basement”” which seems like the average floor of a mall to me. I think that when the ‘basement’ extends well beyond 1000 Sqft, we can ignore the ‘basement’ label and whatever it is, it is his to do. He might be buying up vats of wine or Cognac, whatever it is. It will be his setting. Then we are given “his decision to buy 11 properties in the Crescent Park neighbourhood of Palo Alto in California, apparently adding a 7,000 square feet underground space beneath.” So here again we get the ‘speculating’ media for the setting of a story. So he might have bought the 11 properties, but what happened to them? What evidence is there? He could have bought this for his nearest and dearest. There are many options. Then we get more ‘famous’ names and locations like New Zealand come up. Yet about halfway we get a clarion call (as the expression goes), we are given “Neil Lawrence is a professor of machine learning at Cambridge University. To him, this whole debate in itself is nonsense. “The notion of Artificial General Intelligence is as absurd as the notion of an ‘Artificial General Vehicle’,” he argues. “The right vehicle is dependent on the context. I used an Airbus A350 to fly to Kenya, I use a car to get to the university each day, I walk to the cafeteria… There’s no vehicle that could ever do all of this.” For him, talk about AGI is a distraction.” And as far as I can tell, I feel like Neil Lawrence does with an addendum, and ad the very end we are given ““LLMs also do not have meta-cognition, which means they don’t quite know what they know. Humans seem to have an introspective capacity, sometimes referred to as consciousness, that allows them to know what they know.” It is a fundamental part of human intelligence – and one that is yet to be replicated in a lab.” And it is part of what I have been saying all along. And we get the larger setting from a second source. It is SBS (at https://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/australians-living-in-america-anxiety/p88o60wos) that give us ‘Saving money and packing ‘go bags’: How Australians in the US are preparing for the worst’ where we see “But she says the attitude towards foreign nationals under the current administration has made life in the US feel “scary”. Kate says these fears were brought to the surface during her green card interview. “They grilled me in the interview and asked me questions not even related to our marriage but about my previous visa and time in the US,” she says.” As well as “Many Australians living in the US are reporting experiencing high levels of anxiety and feelings of instability due to the possibility of rapid political change under US President Donald Trump.”

These are the settings that matter. In the first there is the BBC article that is making the ‘doom lecture’ but that is not the setting. When AI collapses like a near empty shell, people will all be tuning for their incomes and playing the blame game, but as we are given ‘Wall Street crashes after Trump announces 100% tariffs on China; $1.5 trillion wiped out’ consider what happens when all these AI ‘vendors’ fall flat, the damage will be more than 10 times worse, America loses 15 trillion. Can you even fathom that kind of loss? That will be the sounding implosion that leads to civil war when 90% of 340 million people lose whatever they had, retirements wiped out, other savings gone, they will get angry. President Trump will have to run for his life to air-force one as quick as his legs can carry him. Evading to Russia or anyone that will have him and his billions? Mostly gone, if not already abroad. Those who bought large mansions outside of the US are likely safe for two generations in France, Monaco, UAE, Bermuda, New Zealand, you name it, some will evade and this is the setting we see. I reckon that people in California will need high walls to keep others out, optionally armed defenses as well. 

Foreigners are now seeing the scary reality they signed on for and they are getting ready a ‘go bag’ to evade to wherever they can as quickly they can. Is this doom speak?

That is a valid question. You see, the AI setting is merely one, President trump soured the waters on tourism which is down in many ways and no reflective view is given by anyone in media. That amount of bad news they find likely ‘irresponsible’ and the media has no business using that excuse as they have been one of the most irresponsible parties ever. Then foreign retail. Canada pulled all the alcoholic beverages from the shelves in Canada. How much is that costing? One source (Source: Global News) gives us that the decline is 85%, that amounts to how much? These three settings is almost a certainty of recession and there is a lot more declines in the papers but the media will not give you the proper numbers. Several sources all giving different partially overlapping numbers. As such the economic dams of America are cracking. And they will lose a massive amount of revenue and while some will give some of the numbers. Most of us aren’t given the full view. I have some of the views as I have been keeping an eye on some of the numbers. But even I do not have the full view. So whilst some give us “The sell-off erased more than USD 1.5 trillion in market value from US stocks. Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency market faced record liquidations of USD 19 billion. This is the largest single-day figure ever recorded.” The part no one talks about is where are the billionaires set at? We see the wins of Elon Musk and Larry Ellison, but where are the other billionaires? How are they doing? And that disjointed Microsoft view.

Why the Windows maker?
That is a fair question. You see, they were all ‘heralding’ how good they were doing, but the shimmer in the shadows is different. We are given “Microsoft is currently losing money on AI development, having spent an estimated $19 billion in one quarter on AI infrastructure, with no significant revenue from it yet. The company also experienced a reported loss of $300 million in Call of Duty sales due to the Game Pass subscription model” all whilst Activision and Bethesda was bought for over $100,000,000,000 and that has an interest setting. They might be ‘offloading’ staff (over 9,000 according to some numbers) and whilst they and Adecco (firing into the thousands) are all set to AI, there is a hidden snag. When this falls short they will face a setting that is a lot more dangerous. People will not consider them in the future. So when the non-existing AI is set to the need of engineers it goes flat and when there is no one around (an exaggeration) to program your LLM, consider where your firm will be. ZDNet gave us “Microsoft’s CEO loves to talk about ’empathy.’ But everything that is coming out of Redmond these days is perilously close to turning the company into the Borg.” Basically a non-existent setting of people that cannot live in a vacuum and that is an additional side I never saw coming. I was focussed on Microsoft turning into an empty shell and when the substance is gone, the shell collapses. That is what I saw in Microsoft Games and Microsoft Office. It started in 2012 when their service devisions were no longer up to scrap and when support goes, so does sales and when we consider the over 100 billion for two companies its, whilst they weren’t making enough to even afford the interest on that, the picture of failure starts to evolve into a nightmare setting and sacking 9,000 people will not safe it. They are telling us now that AI is the future, but at present it does not exist and what does exist requires engineers (remember Builder dot AI?) It is a fictive setting that is showing up all over America and the ‘import’ people are seeing the cracks evolve and they want out as fast as they can. Which is good news for Aramco and ADNOC as they now get the choice of the litter, but for America it is bad news. So there is no doom speak. It is the returning story of a country who think it is too big to go bankrupt. I heard that story before (SNS Bank for one) then a few more banks and they are all part of something else. And America? Parts of America could be added to Canada and Mexico would be relieved to get Texas (the latter part is speculation) and that is the dangerous reality that others are facing. The question is what does it take to throw this around and whilst Wall Street is in denial. Others, those who can afford it, will be making a new household out of American clutches (like the non-tax countries mentioned earlier) also Saudi Arabia becomes an option, but the is reserved for the chosen few (and American Muslims of course). 

So am I delusional or do I have a point? I reckon that one of the larger issues (still setting) is how America deals with Alex Jones. Because if he gets his ‘blockage’ Americans will go insane, they will not accept that this Conspiracy theorist is allowed his fortune after he went after dead children (saying they were actors, who were not dead according to sources). I wonder where that will go, because as I see it, it will be the tinder spark America will be set on fire. At that point all bets are off and I reckon that most ‘New-Americans’ will run to the nearest airport. This might merely be my speculation and optionally a wrong one. But that is how I see it.

Beyond that, the losses that America is having and when all the numbers come out, the second stage is reached and whomever thought they had a retirement, they will all try to collect on whatever possible. 

It is a hard setting and I hope I am wring, because this collapse will fall over Japan and Europe pretty much soon thereafter. Connected currencies will take a massive tumble.

Under Conceptual Construction

I just got hit with an idea (as ideas go). You see, I am from the world of Business Intelligence and Market Research and and idea just hit me. The setting is that data tends to be ‘humanized’, but what if it wasn’t? That is the central setting because the European GDPR has laws in place and I just thought of a way ‘around’ it. So take a setting where any MR firm requires data, but they cannot get that data because of the GDPR ‘complications’, so what is the actual issue? That doesn’t matter because Amazon, Google, IBM, Oracle and Snowflake have a way around that (Well a few more, but they do not matter). So take the next image

We have three top line population and it could be set to anyone (in that area) and as we set that population they are created a nearly unique number and never repetitive and that population gets exported, the numbers are. The MR people on the right get that number they populate the questionnaire(s) and it is send pack to the people on the left. Then that group sends out the questionnaires, the data is collected and send back to the group on the right. I reckon that this would be a nice challenge for Amazon and Snowflake I reckon. This might become an entire business unit and with privacy laws as they are placed in Europe, there might be a larger interest to seek such services. No hidden settings and all at the customers need and the consumers willingness to comply. I reckon that this might work, because as I see it, these Market Research people will see a dwindling of panel populations rather quickly in the next few years and then? Well, it would be up to them to think of a new setting, in the meantime I came up with this idea. And feel free to shoot it down straight off the bat and that is fine. As I said, it was just an idea grabbing me and as I was contemplating other venues. For that matter, how many interested parties would that bring in the Middle East and the Far East? 

Good business is all where you find it and I think I found a population and an optionally interested partner. The question now becomes can these so called ‘Agentic AI Pushers’ see the setting that is offered to them and can it pass the General Data Protection Regulation requirements? If so, we are in business. Just another idea from yours truly. Time to create another gaming IP I reckon, time to flex that grey matter under my skullcap.

Empty luck for bad guys

That happens, it doesn’t make them more bad, or more evil, they just are and to be honest when I saw the news that he had lost my heart skipped a beat. That news made me I personally happy. I get that at times people do not get to rely on ‘Freedom of speech’, don’t get me wrong, I do not believe that he was entitled to that. So as I saw the news (at https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy856qxzq01o) there was a thought on the core of the setting. It started with “The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting occurred on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut. The perpetrator, Adam Lanza, fatally shot his mother before murdering 20 students and six staff members at Sandy Hook Elementary School, and later committed suicide.” Here is where the Conspiracy Theorists come to ‘live’ and here we get “In September 2014, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who runs the website InfoWars, which had previously claimed that the murders were a “false flag” attack perpetrated by the government, made a new conspiracy claim that “no one died” at Sandy Hook Elementary School because the Uniform Crime Reports showed no murders in Newtown for 2012, and that the victims were “child actors.” This claim is false and misrepresents the FBI report. In reality, because the Connecticut State Police was the lead investigator after the attack, the Sandy Hook victims were included in Connecticut’s statewide records (under “State Police Misc.”) rather than under the Newtown statistics.” And we get the continuance that “In November 2016, Erica L. Lafferty, daughter of Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung, the school principal who was shot and killed at Sandy Hook School, wrote open letters to then-President-elect Donald Trump (published in Medium and USA Today), calling upon him to denounce Jones, after Trump had appeared on InfoWars during his presidential campaign and lavished praise on its presenter, saying that the conspiracy theorist had an “amazing” reputation and pledging not to let him down. On February 20, 2017, the Newtown School Board wrote to President Trump and urged him to recognize the murders of 26 people at Sandy Hook and to “remove your support from anyone who continues to insist that the tragedy was staged or not real.”Trump did not respond to the letter. On April 16, 2018, parents of two victims of the shooting sued Jones in Travis County, Texas (where Jones’ media company is based), for $1 million each. On May 23, 2018, six families of victims of the shooting, as well as an FBI agent who responded to the attack, filed a defamation lawsuit in Bridgeport Superior Court in Connecticut against Jones for his role in spreading conspiracy theories about the shooting. In a deposition in the last week of March 2019, Jones acknowledged the deaths were real, stating he had “almost like a form of psychosis”, where he “basically thought everything was staged.”By 2021, Jones did not provide information to support his claims, defaulting in favor of the plaintiffs.” So over the setting of more than 7 years, Alex jones was found guilty and in November 15th of 2021 NPR reported ‘Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones ruled liable in Sandy Hook defamation case’ with ““Mr. Jones was given every opportunity to comply, but, when he chose instead to withhold evidence for more than two years, the Court was left with no choice but to rule as it did today,” Mattei said. “While the families are grateful for the court’s ruling, they remain focused on uncovering the truth.””

So now whilst we are given “Right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has asked the US Supreme Court to put on pause the nearly $1.5bn (£1.1bn) defamation judgment against him that is forcing the sale of his Infowars media company. Jones was ordered to make the payout in 2022 for claiming the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a hoax. He has asked the high court to prevent Infowars from being sold to the satirical news site The Onion in order to fund judgment against him, arguing that it will cause irreparable harm to him and his audience of 30 million.” The folly called ‘Justice of the United States continues’ and whilst we also see that they ‘rely’ on “Jones is asking the justices to put the judgment on hold while deciding on an appeal he has filed. The court is expected to consider his application on Friday in private.

Attorneys for Jones and his company, Free Speech Systems, characterized him as a media defendant in their court filing on Thursday. They argued that Jones, who founded the platform in 1999, should enjoy the same free speech protections under the First Amendment of the Constitution that journalists have, according to court documents filed on Wednesday.

They also said the record-breaking payout and the shuttering of his platform would have a “chilling effect” on similar media figures.” And I have to wonder ‘Why Not?’ If there is any setting it is that the media is now a behemoth that is not about the truth of the matter, but largely on the cash of the setting. I have had that for some time, but this case will drive this out in the open to a much larger audience. And I am still in confusion why this conspiracy theorist is given any quarter at all, but the American setting is one where appeal has the largest dollar gain and as I see it, it will play out, will it play out in favor of Alex Jones is something that we have to watch, but as I see it, should Alex Jones win, the larger audience from the United States will start to be denied on a near global scale as the global media will not want to be painted in the American Red, White and Blue colors because of that. That is merely my take on that setting. There will be no stars and the stripes will be seen as bars, horizontal prison bars thwarting American media because of that. But as I see it, we will have to wait until the verdict from the American Supreme Court comes in. So as I see it, after the Connecticut Supreme Court had turned down his verdict of such a lot of coins, $1,500,000,000 if my memory serves correctly. And as we remember that Jones was ordered to make the payout in 2022 for claiming the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a hoax. So it amounts to him haven over three years to try and ‘auction’ of whatever he could for the time, but the amount of over 1 billion is a lot and if his 30 million audience would hand him $50 each, he might have been able to pay it all. But it seems that his audience doesn’t love him that far, it smilingly comes down to the average hooker gets more credit for a ‘simple’ act then Alex Jones does. And come to think of it, he ‘entertained’ his audience for months, a hooker is done in 15 minutes (if that much is required) and that comes with a protein drink at the end of that sitting. And these people (their clients) got to live behind “It never happened, prove it” so as we get to the next week we will see how the Supreme Court will dress Alex Jones address (or is that redress).

Bygones I say. So have a great day and look out for optional entertainment from the United States Supreme Court, because no matter how you turn this, that nation might go strategically bonkers should Alex Jones get what he wants and then he will cry about all the gun violence coming to his front door. But then they can say “Don’t worry Alex, its just a hoax”

I reckon that Saturday Newscasts will give us more entertainment. It almost sounds like the beginning of a David Sylvian song. Have a great day today.

The opposing voice

That’s me (if you were wondering). The setting is that I take offense to the media and the way they are conducting their business. The larger setting is that I have no overwhelming love for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I have no business in Saudi Arabia, I have no relatives, no experience there and I have never been there. The simple setting is that I could have business there, but I do not. I am however drenched in fair play and the media settings are in an abundance of corruption, whoring (for the digital dollar) and smearing for the ‘friends’ they claim to have. Claim is as good as anything, because the political field is forever in flux. 

And the media is to be held to account much higher standard than they are now. So as the Guardian gives their new ‘abundance’ of smearing through their emotional settings like “and was the kind of expert – passionate, principled, always glad to hop on the phone – that journalists loved having in their digital Rolodex”, yes smearing the goo to soften the reader and something broke in me. So here goes:

‘Money talks: the deep ties between Twitter and Saudi Arabia’ (at https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2025/oct/09/twitter-saudi-arabia-deep-ties-elon-musk-prince-mohammed)

Where we see “Ali al-Ahmed didn’t think that Elon Musk was responsible for the decline and fall of Twitter. Musk was another face representing an old regime. And its sins began well before Musk bumbled into Twitter HQ, in October 2022, carrying a porcelain sink. (In an attempt at humor, Musk posted a video of himself arriving at the Twitter offices carrying a sink with the caption “Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!”)” The first ‘error’ Elon Musk wasn’t responsible for anything (as I see it) he overpaid for a social media for well over 50% ($44 billion) A friend of mine and myself saw that the accounts were ‘spiked’ and that fake accounts were abundant. My personal view was that he paid over $15B too much for it and that is his right. As well as that Musk wasn’t ‘old’ regime anything. And at present is is ‘valued’ at $52.3 billion, so he made ten billion in just three years, that is not old anything, It is a massive influx of value (I never saw that). 

Then Ali Al-Ahmed gives us the one truth that matters ““They care about making money. Twitter and Facebook are not champions or models for human rights. These people are nothing but money-grubbers.” Twitter had banned Ahmed’s Arabic-language Twitter account, which had 36,000” that is social media for you and as I see it LinkedIn is about to be set to that same drive. It is all about the communications that are being drawn to catering (to whom is the question). Then we get the ‘dubious’ part (cannot agree, whether I see it that way or not). “For Saudi authorities, Twitter was an asset in every sense. The billionaire Saudi businessman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal was Twitter’s largest outside shareholder, and the site had become a key tool in the government’s apparatus of surveillance and control.” Is it really? It might be, but that is social media for you. If you share with the world, you share with EVERYONE, not just your ‘core’ people and the Saudi Government might as well take notice (as does the German, French, America and Commonwealth nations). Then we get a ‘tainted’ part. With “Ahmed believed his Twitter account had been compromised. He worried that spies had access to it, which would endanger dissident Saudis with whom he exchanged private messages. This wasn’t an idle concern. One of his contacts was Abdulrahman al-Sadhan, an aid worker who, in 2018, was abducted by Saudi security forces for running a satirical Twitter account that parodied members of the government. Abdulrahman, who was then 37, was sentenced to 20 years in prison.” There is a hidden truth, EVERY Twitter account is compromised. We do it ourselves and whether it is some security forces or hackers, they all try to get information and the Chinese, Israeli and Russians make the Saudi security forces look like little kids in the playground. And the writer knows this. So there.

Then we get the (seemingly) big lie “As the brutal murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi demonstrated, the Saudi state pursued vigorous methods of transnational repression, allegedly sending hit squads after enemies abroad.” In the first place. Where is the evidence? What makes a murder brutal? There is no body, as such Jamal Khashoggi is merely missing and the press knows this (apparently he moved to bora bora with a 19 year old mistress) but that is something I am willing to dismiss as have no evidence of this. The second lie is “Saudi state pursued vigorous methods of transnational repression, allegedly sending hit squads after enemies abroad” this might be true, but it requires evidence (that pesky requirement) and I do not see the evidence given by Saad Aljabri as evidence. He silenced a few settings through the CIA to set silent the evidence against him. The truth and all the truth is my motto and he has allegedly over 3,000,000,000 reasons not to be honest. Then we get the ‘meh’ setting. In “Prince Mohammed used his country’s bottomless reserves of oil and capital to flood Silicon Valley, politics, sports leagues and other power centers with cash and influence. Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz and Peter Thiel’s investment vehicle, Founders Fund, were among the most notable recipients of Saudi money, but they were just two among hundreds. In 2016, Uber received an astonishing $3.5bn from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). Blackstone’s infrastructure fund got $20bn. By autumn 2018, the Wall Street Journal reported, Saudi Arabia had become “the largest single funding source for US startups”.” So Saudi Arabia is setting wealth to create wealth? Isn’t that the proper use of Business Intelligence? So they had the money and they were starting up companies (to get a return on investment I reckon) and then we get another setting ““They’re surveillance states. They’re police states,” said Nader Hashemi, a professor of Middle East and Islamic politics at Georgetown University. “They want to use the latest technology in order to continue to remain in power and surveil their populations. So they have another interest in trying to sort of be the beneficiaries of hi-tech developments, hoping that that will help them internally with their own political rule.”” Might be seen as direct settings of intelligence and I would say that this is a valid use of technology. The west is run over by Hamas and Gaza sympathizers and we do nothing. Saudi Arabia knows how dangerous that could become and they are making sure that these people do not succeed and I reckon that the UAE is on that setting too. There is something to be said for the Saudi approach when we see the ‘news’ that is spread through social media. As I see it, pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel protests are rampant in the streets of Europe and they are ‘supporting’ one another making life in Europe less and less interesting and the populist agenda is somehow fed through that. Saudi Arabia has no interest in getting involved through that setting.

Then we get the ‘dangerous’ part ““Since late 2017 or January of 2018, Prince Mohammed has exercised control over more Twitter stock than is owned by Twitter’s founder,” according to a civil complaint filed against Twitter and the consulting firm McKinsey by Omar Abdulaziz, a film director and Saudi exile. Abdulaziz said that the consultancy helped finger him as a prominent online dissident, leading to his Twitter account being hacked. (In 2020, Canadian authorities warned Abdulaziz that he was a target of a Saudi kill team.) According to Abdulaziz’s original complaint, “Because of the tremendous wealth of key figures in [the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia], major corporations have enabled, collaborated with, and turned a blind eye to [its] efforts to suppress, torture, falsely imprison, terrorise and murder dissenters both within Saudi Arabia and around the world.” Twitter had given the Saudi government a reach well beyond its borders.” It is dangerous as it assumes several parts. In part as the setting of Omar Abdulaziz, he failed a complaint, how did that end? We do not know. We are given that “finger him as a prominent online dissident, leading to his Twitter account being hacked”, so was this on McKinsey? He was out there getting ‘visibility’ as a film director and some might not like that (for all kinds of reasons) it might have been an Islamophobe. Then we get “In 2020, Canadian authorities warned Abdulaziz that he was a target of a Saudi kill team.” What authorities? I reckon that the CSIS got wind of something and did their job, but where is the evidence? I get that the CSIS gets all kinds of information (Saad Aljabri anyone)? So they did their job (if they were the source). So what was that Saudi Kill team? Overzealous football supporters? And with “suppress, torture, falsely imprison, terrorise and murder dissenters both within Saudi Arabia and around the world.” Twitter had given the Saudi government a reach well beyond its borders” we get another setting of ‘seemingly’ setting the stage. Where evidence doesn’t exist, the media drenches the story in emotion and what we call soft pressures and I have had enough whilst this happens they are pushed around and they want their digital dollars. And this is how the seemingly get it. And in conclusion, Twitter doesn’t give them anything, because some already showed me that others use Twitter (say X) for exactly the same reason and that gives the population of one (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) a much larger pool with Trolls, Russian, China, Commonwealth, America, CIA, NSA, DIA, Democratic corporations and a whole range of alphabet combinations and there are several who would like to take out someone they don’t care about and lay the blame on Saudi Arabia for all the interesting reasons that we might not see.

It is worth how much?

Yup, I got a little surprise when Arab News gave me ‘Mongolian falcon sells for SR650,000’ (at https://www.arabnews.com/node/2618097/saudi-arabia) yesterday In Saudi Arabia an Mongolian falcon was sold for 650,000 reals (A$264,000). Now, I would pay that (if I had that kind of cash) a lot more willing for a Falcon than a car, so there is that, but I was boggled how that chip little tweeter is worth that much money. 

And lets be clear, I have zero, zilch, nada knowledge on falcon and I had until now never heard of that brad of bird. So as I was ‘informed’ through “The most expensive Mongolian falcon to date was sold Monday at the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 for SR650,000 ($173,276) following intense bidding.” And the two images in Arab News shows the bird and the intense interest there was in that bird. I grew up in the Netherlands and we had peregrine falcons in the Netherlands but the were rare to say the least. The lot got near extinction when we dabbled with pesticides in the Netherlands and at present there are supposed to be around 200 breeding pairs today, but it was a close call. So when I saw this news I was happy to learn that some people take a rather large interest in keeping falcons. I know that there was interest, but until now I did not know how much and how far into the Arabic nations it is spread. And as we are told that “the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition dedicated a special zone to Mongolian falcons, which hold a distinguished status among falconers in the Kingdom and the region for their exceptional quality” and that makes me happy. 

As I see it, I would jump for joy if the global pesky vermin population (aka people of the world) gets to be made extinct to about 97.3% (an important number) as it would allow the wildlife on a global scale become resurrected to the state it was pre 1700. Yes, I know it is rather nasty of me, but as I see it, the global wildlife would take my side in this matter. So as we are given “thanks to its resilience to harsh conditions and quick responsiveness to training, making it one of the most sought-after species among both amateurs and professionals.” To be clear, I have no interest to even be an amateur falconer. I reckon that my lack of knowledge and lack of funds implies that I wouldn’t be able to keep a Falcon. You need a Mews (Bird Housing), Equipment, Telemetry/GPS (to keep track of where Tweety went of to), Books and Supplies and a Food Freezer. This will set you back a fair amount of thousands as I see it, the Mews is likely the smallest cost if you have the space. And that is before that a bird of prey needs an abundant amount of time, making it a hobby for the rich non-working population, or able to shift lots of time around.

So even as I love the idea, there is not way that I would be able to keep interested in this hobby which for some people seem to be a calling. And that is before we consider that some people go beyond the Falcon and go for the Hawks or Eagles, I reckon that Harry Potter got the simplest setting with an Owl, or at least that is what I think and my point of view might not matter, but how many of you knew that Falconry has such a massive following in Saudi Arabia? I wonder how deep Falconry sits with the Emirati people. As such I was happy to learn a new useless snippet of knowledge. It is useless as life in Australia is not overburdened with Saudi facts, or with falconry settings. I have learned that it is “not explicitly illegal in Australia, but its practice is highly restricted due to stringent regulations governing the use and possession of birds of prey” and you can read more on that (at https://falconry.com.au), so have a great day today.

The weighted fabrication

That is how I see it and the article by Stephanie Kirchgaessner (at https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jun/18/saudi-arabia-turki-al-jasser-executed) goes straight into this. You see, I am not debating whether someone was ‘deleted’ it is what you can prove and we cannot prove anything. You see, The Guardian ‘hides’ behind a piece by the United Nations and I dove into this in ‘That was Easy!’ (at https://lawlordtobe.com/2021/02/27/that-was-easy/) I even added the UN document there and I made several connections, I used the setting of something called ‘evidence’ it is how I roll and seemingly the Guardian does not. Somewhere today I stumbled upon a Kirchgaessner article that was from June 18th 2025. I do not track everything that is out there, so I have an excuse. But the setting that the media uses requires me to illustrate where they went mad like a lemming. We get “It was the first high-profile killing of a journalist by the Saudi state since the 2018 murder of Jamal Khashoggi, the Washington Post columnist and prominent critic of the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, who was lured into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and murdered by Saudi agents. A UN report concluded that the murder was an extrajudicial killing by the state, and an intelligence assessment released by then president Joe Biden in 2021 concluded that Prince Mohammed approved the murder.” We need to take heed of the two settings here. The first one is “A UN report concluded that the murder was an extrajudicial killing by the state” and the second one is “intelligence assessment released by then president Joe Biden in 2021 concluded that Prince Mohammed approved the murder”. So, we have two settings. Lets start with the second on first. How was this assessment obtained? That is the question. There is a chance that it came from Saad bin Khalid Al Jabri and the ‘pasted’ solutions that the Americans give him (read: CIA) sounds that he is all on the up and up. Yet “Aljabri has strong support in the US, where former intelligence officials have credited their Saudi counterpart for helping to save American and Saudi lives following the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the US.

On 60 Minutes, the former acting CIA director Mike Morell said Aljabri was “honorable”. Intelligence relayed to the US by Aljabri – Morell said – had led to the interception of bombs that had been planted by al-Qaida in 2010 in two desktop printers that were being flown as cargo on two planes. Morell said there were also other examples of Aljabri saving the lives of Americans, but that they were still classified.” Yet here too I have questions and they might be invalid and when we see the accusations of “The Saudi government did not address Aljabri’s allegations but said in a statement that “Saad Aljabri is a discredited former government official with a long history of fabricating and creating distractions to hide the financial crimes he committed”” So how does a general get these billions? That was the issues that I saw when I looked at the CBC article (at https://www.cbc.ca/news/investigates/saad-aljabri-assets-frozen-1.5903422) 

Where we see ““Although the investigation is ongoing, it is clear that from at least 2008 to 2017, Aljabri masterminded and oversaw a conspiracy incorporating at least 21 conspirators across at least 13 jurisdictions to misappropriate at least [$4.3 billion] from the plaintiffs,” the lawsuit states.” As well as “It alleges Aljabri funneled security and counterterrorism funds from Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry to himself, his family and associates.” So is one true, or is the other true? It is a fair question as the sources of the “intelligence assessment” remain valid if Saad bin Khalid Al Jabri was involved. At that point, merely one issue remains and I blew that apart in my initial blog (link above) and what wasn’t mentioned is that the so called ‘torture tapes’ were never forensically cleared in any way. There are mentions of “I heard them and they were dreadful” or something of that nature. That is not evidence. Evidence is “The tape(s) consist of x number of tapes (or files). They are set to a length of XXX minutes and the voices on the tapes include Jamal Khashoggi” That NEVER happened, that was NEVER done. As such there is no evidence and the shoddy journals behind blood and oil added a few inches of fantasy to that counter. That as well as the issues in that UN report gave me enough to call Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud innocent. Evidence is set to that, not thoughtful processes of ‘I don’t believe he is guilty’ a person is innocent until proven guilty and that proof never came, no matter how intensely all the media is pushing for it and the media with people carrying trash bags stating “This could be the part of the body of Jamal Khashoggi” is nothing less than a joke, a bad one at that. So as Stephanie Kirchgaessner is linked to several of these articles the journalist is just as guilty as the story. She never properly investigated the articles she wrote and I just called out several parts. There is no such setting with Saudi journalist Turki al-Jasser, as the news gives us “the Saudi interior ministry announced that al-Jasser had been executed in Riyadh, for crimes including “high treason by communicating with and conspiring against the security of the Kingdom with individuals outside it”.” It seems like a setting that is. There is no wonder about guilt or innocence. He was found guilty and executed, but leave it to the Guardian to add the columnist no-one ever cared about to the mix (Jamal Khashoggi). Yet I have seen this game being played by the Guardian and several other sources and I have had enough. As such I have questions. Questions like will Stephanie Kirchgaessner ever be questioned and will there be a larger setting where journalists like this are held to account on what they write, because as I see it this cannot continue as it is. The CBC gives us a lot more. You see as we see “Aljabri, 62, was MBN’s chief advisor. As Minister of State and head of security and counterterrorism, he was a key member of the regime. He was stripped of his duties in 2015. Following the power change in 2017, he fled the country and now lives in a mansion on The Bridle Path, one of Canada’s most upscale residential neighbourhoods.” Is a setting that does not imply he is guilty of anything, but as I see it, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has 4.3 billion reasons to want him and I do not know any government that takes such a loss for granted. And they would be right. And as I see it, there is an easy setting, get a forensic accountant go over the records and I reckon that this is where the CIA is not to happy over that happening and I expect neither is Saad bin Khalid Al Jabri. I wonder why the media didn’t set this setting to paper, do you know? 

So when the Guardian gave us (in June) “The former intelligence chief also claimed Prince Mohammed “feared” the information Aljabri knew about him, including a 2014 recorded discussion between Prince Mohammed and the then crown prince, Bin Nayef, in which Prince Mohammed allegedly said he could kill the sitting king, Abdullah, to clear the throne for his own father, Salman.” The use of ‘allegedly’ makes the quote dubious, did anyone hear that recording? Was it forensically analyzed? Simple questions that could lift the veil of this. Did no one catch on to this?

I think I have raised enough doubt on the settings we see. And as we go back to the setting of “an intelligence assessment released by then president Joe Biden in 2021 concluded that Prince Mohammed approved the murder.” As such, as it was released, why didn’t the Guardian include this to give weight to the article? Was it because it relied to heavy on Saad bin Khalid Al Jabri? I don’t know, I never saw the assessment. So have a great day and consider what others want you to think. I, merely want you to see the evidence because that decides the guilt of someone, I could (of course) be wrong.

The crunch to become

That is the setting and it remains to be seen as to where the crush will end up being. This morning I was surprised by a story in CDOTrends (at https://www.cdotrends.com/story/4729/how-agentic-analytics-replacing-bi-we-know-it) where Artyom Keydunov gives us ‘How Agentic Analytics Is Replacing BI as We Know It’ this is his view and as the co-founder and CEO of cube he is talking in his own street and that is his right. The issue with the article that it is really good, but there are some issues (from my point of view). The start is (optionally) great and with “For over two decades, the business intelligence (BI) dashboard has been the primary interface between data teams and decision-makers. These visualizations, charts, and KPIs have been invaluable tools for understanding what is happening inside a business. But in 2025, the dashboard model is showing its age. In a world where data moves at the speed of cloud transactions, connected devices, and global markets, static dashboards can no longer keep up. By the time a decision-maker logs in, refreshes a dashboard, and sifts through its filters, the critical moment for action may have already passed. Business leaders want answers, not just visualizations, and they want those answers as events unfold. A new approach, driven by AI and automation, is emerging to fill this gap.” There is merely spoken truth here and he is correct, but the Dashboard was ‘thought’ of by a Business Intelligence analyst and that tends to have hidden settings as that tends to be the case and the more it is set to the BI industry it was designed for, the better that tool tends to be. So when we see “By the time a decision-maker logs in, refreshes a dashboard, and sifts through its filters, the critical moment for action may have already passed” is not incorrect, but there is a time gap, we get that and the better the tool, the smaller the gap and as the designing analyst is better the more precise the tool becomes regardless of gap. So now we get to the ‘Agentic Analytics’ of the matter. It is programmed and based on the data it is trained on. Now, if this is all in-house data, that tends to be OK, but there is still the programmer and that is the culprit of the story. You see a programer is as good as the explainer hands him his data (tends to be a sales person) and that is already the issue. Sales persons are set to the blinkers then have (like pupils shaped as dollar signs) not the most eloquent setting to begin with. 

So then we get to “The static nature of dashboards has made them a bottleneck in modern analytics. They rely on the user to know what question to ask, when to ask it, and how to interpret the results. When organizations scale, the proliferation of dashboards often leads to confusion rather than clarity. A company may have hundreds of dashboards, each presenting a slightly different view of the truth, leaving teams overwhelmed and second-guessing their decisions.” This is a truth and a half no matter how you tweak it. And the stage of “proliferation of dashboards often leads to confusion rather than clarity” is set to the organiser behind this and that tends to be a salesperson, CEO or CFO, as such money is the operative word and Agentic Analytics (AA) is set to data and clarity of collected data and upgrading this won’t make the data more clear, it merely showed how the dashboard fell short of what’s needed. So when we get to the ‘good’ part with “A company may have hundreds of dashboards, each presenting a slightly different view of the truth, leaving teams overwhelmed and second-guessing their decisions” we see the gap in the entire AA setting. It isn’t less confusing, the tweaked set of data is likely misrepresenting what was needed in the first place and I will grant you that this is my view on the data. I have seen dozens of cases where that was the case and in some cases it was with people managing data the size of a Fortune 500 company. So as we get to the really good part, Artyom Keydunov tells us “The promise of agentic analytics depends on trust. Without robust data governance, AI-powered systems risk surfacing misleading or inconsistent insights — and worse, they might automate actions based on flawed assumptions.” This is a powerful statement, it is not the trust part, this is inherently drawn from the loyalty a firm instills, it is “they might automate actions based on flawed assumptions” you see, ‘flawed assumptions’ is the key here and it is with many dashboards and as such with AA solutions as well. That just gave me an idea (perhaps cube has this) there is a between setting where the app could have documentation in the ‘second tier’ a setting where a document cog could be embedded in the software solution that is merely accessible at the core company that made this setting. So where some see “growth margin per quarter” the hidden blockchain will refer to that setting and the documentation will set the parameters for inspection. It could be any kind of blockchain with the setting of corporation – application – sequential counter and that is documented. You see, it is not what is now that matter, but in 5 years the reality of any solution (or AA) will require revision and wouldn’t it be great that you are able to vet what was (correct or not). So, now go back to any dashboard that was designed over 10 years ago and still in use. How many will not be able to tell you what was?

A simple setting merely shown to you and perhaps in your own firm there are several others. So make of this what you want. The article is quite good and even as it is talking in the street of Cube, it shows some common grounds we all need to have before we all go the way of the Dodo because AI told us to do just that and we end up at the edge of a cliff like darling little lemmings and when we realise we are at a cliff, the lemming behind us its pushing us in the back making us fall over. Nice ride, don’t you agree?

So have a great day and for me a new coffeeshop open tomorrow, so another option to try pointing myself for the simple reason that only the once trusted coffeemaker knew how we wanted our coffee, just like the users of a dashboard now relying on some AA that we are supposed to do it their way (which might not be wrong).
